A great place to study: brilliant course, fabulous beachside location, friendly people. So glad I decided to study here.
Great campus location- near the City but surrounded by greenery/beach. However the uni is underfunded and could be improved
The location and locals of Swansea are great. Sadly going to Swansea University during covid times significantly impacted the experience, but that is to be expected. One thing to be aware of is the lack of communication and support in certain courses.
It’s a good uni but could improve on supporting Performing arts more
Great student lifestyle and great location singleton campus is however lacking compared other universities I have visited
Really good and wonderful experience at university. The staff and the mentors are really friendly and easy to talk. The campus has really beautiful views and study areas
Good university in general. Nice big library and good study facilities
Facilities and societies very heavily based on Singleton Campus, very little on Bay. WiFi is highly unreliable, and problems take frustrating time to fix. Poor transport links between campus.
Everyone is so lovely. I’ve really enjoyed my time here. All the staff are really supportive and helpful and the location and facilities are great!
Great facilities on campus, and amazing to have the beach so close, especially on bay campus. A great tool for taking breaks when working, you can clear your head by taking a walk. Only problem would be the food options on bay campus. Singelton has an amazing variety, but bay campus is lacking in food options. The core food can be OK, but it extremely slow, and subway is good, but as its the only other option (other than a tesco meal deal), it is always full. In addition, having the tafarn only open at 4pm In weekdays is frustrating. Not only for people who want to have a casual day drink if the sun's out, but also for those who want to study. I personally find it an amazing atmosphere to work, with the music playing and option to buy coffee or get food delivered. However this is no longer a great option, as it opens far too late. The student union I cannot say anything bad about. They are amazing, pro active and are always there for the students.
