Really good university just finished my 2nd year and I’m really impressed with everything around. So close to town, shops and the campus it’s all within a 15 minute walk. There is no worrying about making my lesson or not at all!!

Good uni and amazing resources for students
Cannot recommend this place enough! It’s great for its value of money. It’s right near the university campus so it’s convenient there’s lots of shops/resturaunts/fast food near by so you don’t go without. They are good at communicating and quick as possibly can be with repairs
It has been great experience for student near town and university
Amazing stunning brilliant architectural design
Good uni, conveniently located.
Overall okay, they are not bad. Clean campus

i’m glad to have joined this university! it’s provided me with great support since year 1 and especially during my year abroad
Good university friendly staff
The uni has been very helpful with courses and any issues I have had. They make sure there are activities for all students and make sure everyone gets involved
The new campus facilities are very modern and new
Fabulous university, so much support for students! Cannot recommend enough ☺️
Uclan is actually such a great school great teachers and facilities
Not sure what to write uclan has many services but aren’t as good as advertising but it’s a great uni
amazing place, such a nice community, lovely places for walks.
Good stuff. It is a very social and exciting place to be at. I enjoy the environment and people. Buildings are admirable and with pretty colours, love it.
my tutors are understanding and preston is nice
Good uni good location very good place socially
good staff and lively vibe feels like home
Average experience, nice people though
Its an amazing university, with amazing staff, the only bad thing i would say is there is too many buildings
Good university, facilities and course
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Its a decent university but not the most amazing.
Great building and great staff, would recommend living hear.
Uclan is the best and offers multiple opportunities to evolve personally and professionally.
Very nice place. Stayed here for 5 years. Quiet and good enough for studying. Very approachable staff. Good for student living.
Good accommodation. Good location. Residents could take better to take care of the space and respect it.
Great reception very friendly and happy to help
Good uni but poor social aspects, student Union is practically unused
Great and they always here to help I would recommend this place to
Good student support, variety of courses and student union activities and clubs
Amazing university. Diverse and inclusive. Would definitely recommend to a friend
Great university. lots to do. people are friendly.
University is great with a great team of student support and comprises of a lot of buildings spread in the city of Preston. Teachers and staff is very supportive and overall review is excellent
Best place to be and very friendly
Great experience, very welcoming and a beautiful campus
So far, as a first year it's been quite the experience!, I'm thankful for the support avaliable and the friendly environment that surrounds the university
Good experience, good university
Very good would recommend it strongly
Standard uni could have some improvements
ok, the city the university is based in is pretty rough and a significant number of my lecturers have been terrible.
I love this accommodation! Nathan and Sophie are super friendly and it’s been much better since they started. I love all the things the accommodation hosts and my room is really spacious! It’s great value for money. The building is also always clean which I really appreciate and things always get fixed very quickly!
Nice place for the internet honestly lol
The place has a wide range of options for clubs
University provides a good course and support
Everything is close together, lecturers know their stuff
Ok for languages, massive library
Quick WiFi! Amazing staff and brilliant experience
friendly staff, nice common room with TV and billard table and good location - 5 minute walk to university campus!
University is really nice, campus is wide spread and diverse, l
Campus is nice, especially in summer time. The majority of the buildings are all close together so it makes it easy to transfer between classes.
Great value for money and staff are super friendly don’t bother wasting your money anywhere else!!
Amazing uni experience Great support Lovely people
UCLAN is great, there’s plenty of clubs and societies for everyone, the lecturers are supportive and kind. It’s a very wholesome university
Nice teachers and occasional cool events that I found take place e.g food fairs e.c.t
Good experience Met nice people Friendly staff
Outstanding accommodation, would surely suggest to anyone
Quite happy with the help provided.
Good experience with a focus on teaching actual industry skills.
Overall amazing university, could not recommend enough
The university has a clean student friendly society and the facilities they have are good when they need using
A good university but lacking in a lot of areas.
A very underrated university with many special features
In general it’s good enough, but tgere are some frustrating aspects
Dedicated lecturers that care about their students, campus that is being constantly improved and a good range of courses. Not being a Russel group uni takes the pressure off the study and I've found it to be overall an enriching and beneficial experience with lots of extra curricular activities popping up in my department.
Good location, easily accessible
A really good one .....feasible for everything....
Interesting lectures and good support system with the personal tutors
Over the three years I have been hear, I am glad to say that the teachers listen to the students about any worries we have. It is an anomaly for me when it comes to teachers from previous education.
Very good and well equipped university for learning
I’m really enjoying Uni life on campus, everyone is friendly and helpful and I enjoy the course. There is a gym on campus and it’s amazing. I’ve joined a society and they have events on too which I’ll be attending in the future. So far so good.
Nice people, helpful support and great wifi.
It's overall a great experience to be honest.
Great location, great accommodation
Accommodation is close to the city centre and the university. Staff is very friendly and always happy to help
Decent university with plenty of opportunities
I would rate my overall experience 6/10
Studying at Uclan is good formme
All is great, except the WiFi needs some improvements !
So good to choose this accommodation, it’s so close to the university
The campus is really nice & easy to navigate and the staff are super accommodating and supportive
Good university, very friendly staff, placement opportunities but not much about graduate jobs/internships,
Felt like a home... Feeling bad to leave this
Campus facilities (such as gyms & libraries) were great and kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Regular updates about careers events/opportunities were helpful. However the on-campus Wi-Fi often didn't work properly, or only worked for some websites/apps.
University is good, everything is all close together and very easy to find, and it also close to the town centee
The university is good, however it could be more accommodating to disabilities with it's courses.
UCLan is a good university and the free sports membership they provide is a great bonus.
Glad to study and work here as a Student Ambassador
Not the best for support in all areas but good enough
Best university experience so far .good lectures
I applied here through clearing, as before I wasn’t sure whether or not I thought university was right for me. But I’m so glad I chose to apply. I’ve had an amazing time at Uclan. All of the staff are welcoming and if there are any issues they are solved efficiently. My experience has been more than I could have ever hoped for and I can’t wait to progress onto year two.
Lovely new buildings within the university however the student union is not promoted or used enough, many new students do not use it or even know where it is
Everyone’s really friendly and there’s a good variety of societies to join and there’s also plenty of support available
Had a great time at UCLAN. Facilities were great for a music student and there's always weekly events on to keep entertained.
Recently graduated from Uclan and over my entire three years I felt more negatively towards the university than positively. Classrooms lacked working equipment but funds often spent on making the campus look nicer. Timetabling team are slow, careless and every student for every year had timetable issues, classes not showing up, clashes, ect. Graduates in languages not efficient enough in the languages they learned to actually achieve a graduate position in a workplace. In-class and extra curricular activities minimum. Student welfare extremely poor, The university valued mitigating circumstance applicable students over struggling but capable students. Terrible predatory business ethic. Money is more important than students every time, Disciplinary team biased and narcissistic, if you don't comply to their biases then your free speech human right is redundant. Uclan tries very hard to avoid complaints and avoid giving students compensation.
Great uni with lots of courses
Excellent support from staff when needed, made great friends and loved every second of my university experience. Very upset that it is coming to an end.
I've loved my time here! The uni is quite big and there are so many places to study. There's a newly built Student Centre that's super bright and modern, perfect for studying if you don't want to be silent in a library setting. The library has a large selection of books. The nightlife is pretty dire to be honest, there's only about 2 clubs in the whole of Preston (Switch and Warehouse) But the uni is great tbh, I've really enjoyed my time here.
