Amazing clean and organised staff are lovely and helpfull

It is alright but could be better. However overall it is good.
Great diverse place to study and find new people
Very good experiences with professors, Also many activities to include international students but they are no well spread (social media or poster around campus?
Campus is great everything you need all in one place, lights to light it up at night so you know where your going especially in winter when it gets dark early, security always on campus and the equipment and facilities available is great
Overall a good university but feel as though social activities have all been of a similar nature and not much variety.
My experience has been good so far enjoying it.
DMU Sport is great and one of my highlights in uni

The University has the best location and the student union is something which helps you to engage with other students and has a lot of module options and courses to pursue your career.
Great social clubs, I go to dodgeball it is great.
Great school to be in. Everyone’s always ready to assist.
It’s a good university, but I wouldn’t chose it again over my other university options

Dmu is a good good campus for the international students.
The university it great as well as the classes thst I am taught. It is also close to city centre which is a huge plus.

I love it, it is definitely worth going to, there are a few lecturers who arent as good as others but overall its been a good experience

Good university for Speech and language therapy course. All tutors have previous experience and most are approachable. Get placements planned for you throughout all 3 years. Also job opportunities to work for the university as a student.

Its a good university for international students and you can experience a lot of diversity in the university which is really fantastic.
It’s pretty cool, I heard a famous rapper goes there
It’s a nice place. The room wasn’t the promised measurements but they were able to swap me if I wanted, wifi cuts once a day every month but wired connection works fine. Reception people are nice and helpful but it is barely open during the evening.

Uni and staff are good and the courses are fun and well planned
The law department provides very good teaching. The lecturers are supportive and go out of their way to make sure you do well and understand the content.

The campus itself is very modern, I like the way it is set out and most of the lecture halls are very accommodating. However in the Vijay Patel building, room 4.05 has a lot of broken chairs.

I've had a very positive experience with DMU, my course structure and tutors have been wonderful. There are lots of opportunities for students to engage in and enhance themselves as individuals and for the working industry.
very different from what I'm used to but so far I've loved it all. The whole university including the teaching staff are very involved in the needs and tastes of the students.
Good university with great opportunities
I can't fit all I have to say due to there unfortunately being a character limit so I'll have to put it in very short points. . Disorganised . Timetables constantly changing . Technology didn't work. . Expected to know things already. . Vague and inappropriate feedback . Workload making some students suffer with their mental health. . Lecturers ignoring emails. . Harassment is common. Including sexism and queerphobia. Ignored by uni and police.

Good university with a gorgeous campus but student services aren’t very useful and funding is their main priority
The modules are great, with nice lectures. Feedbacks are given on assessements for improvement on future ones.
Overall great joy with faculty full of experience and student from different parts of the world sharing different culture gives extra bit of excitement

Great university campus as well as great teaching. Students union is always a good time especially if you’re in a society. wifi around campus is perfect with no issues so far.
Great university with great modern campus
the campus is so modern! we do have a more traditional building (Hawthorne) but its perfect. you have to cross a wonderful bridge over a a canal to get into the campus, it has swans. staff go above and beyond to help you and the student union (SU) are very useful, there's always free events going on which I love. we are a 2 min walk away from the city centre and I love how everything is in one place. My twin sister goes to UOL and unlike DMU it is one of those city universities meaning that the buildings are spread across the city unlike emu which is a campus uni so its all in one place. This means she sometimes has to take a bus to get to lectures in different buildings, emu feels like a real community.

Dmu is quite good university in term of facilities but academia isn't quite good and tutor are not quite helpful

Brilliant uni, great night life. The support is immense especially disability support. Can’t fault the uni.
Decent wifi, the university is nice to look at. Good food, but for students it is overpriced. The library is good, has a lot of books. Most of the tutors are good, others are completely useless.
Never choose this university it was really waste no support from anyone, no proper education and guidance, no job opportunities, no value for certificate, no professor has knowledge, no laptops for students, no proper labs. Everything fake only you will pay money and return nothing by wasting time and carrier. In Leicester university of Leicester is good one, dmu ranks last and useless. University professors don't put mark for own work, they have a group who takes money and do the assignment and project, for which will get mark. But it was waste of money and no meaning of education, no further carrier to students. The university here supports lot of fraud groups to earn money and they will get commission amount. Here loss is only for students
This review is a bit unique since COVID has substantially lowered my ability to interact with the university, the campus, it's clubs and activities. The campus is large and it's not very easy to find where your course building is situated until the university tells you, I haven't joined any clubs or societies so I can't speak on them. Same could be said for the Students Union and Careers Service. The only thing I did was purchase university clothes. The t-shirts are good quality, but the print is slowly being removed with each was, but the hoodies are nice. The university Wi-Fi is excellent, but that should be par for the course with any university.
I started university in 2018, and I have had so much help and I had enjoyed so much at university. It helped me grow into a better person, and I love my course.

Loved the campus. Of course, covid dampened the spirit. But DMU communications were great and kept getting updates regularly. Nice experience overall.
