Good facilities for getting work done but societies and events are lacking
Uni has been very good for the first year, nothing to complain about. Accommodation is only a 20 minute walk away which is fab.
Hi, Thank you so much for your review. We are glad to hear that you have enjoyed your first year and have benefitted from the accessible location of our accommodation. We hope you enjoy the rest of your time with us. 🙂 Warm Regards, Leeds Arts University
This University is good for art, however the campus is incredibly small and is just one building. There doesn't feel like much of a community as there are no dedicated public spaces other than the cafe. Some of the staff are very nice on my course but others can be nasty and not very understanding of other commitments/problems students have. I have found the academic support and student welfare brilliant.
Thank you for your review. It’s great to hear that you have benefited from our Student Support teams. We appreciate that our campus is smaller than a multi-faculty university, but it has purpose-built facilities with industry-standard equipment and has been extended over the years to meet the needs of all our students. We’re really sorry to hear that you feel some of our staff haven’t been understanding. We appreciate your honest feedback and if you’d like to discuss this more please do reach out to us at marketing@leeds-art.ac.uk. We recognise the importance of having social spaces in the University and have recently expanded our café! We also have other communal spaces for students throughout the university such as the breakout space in the Library, and lots of seated areas dotted around the University. In addition, our Students' Union often holds events and drop-ins which are a great chance to socialise with other students.
Is a great university for artistic education
Fun iv had a good time and lovely experience

Lovely campus, great societies, interesting modules
Nice campus with a good cafeteria area. Floors and rooms are easily to find and access but there can be a bit of a mix up with the 1st building and 2nd building for new people. However you get used to the campus layout over time.
really interactive course, helpful staff good tutors
it’s a great uni, love my subject and the aesthetic
Love it at Leeds Arts, the facilities are amazing and its such a wonderful community of creatives
good wifi can be rubbish and cut off/ give ur device viruses
It’s a great university with lots to do
I am doing the foundation art course, and have had a brilliant time, however I am not on the main campus so haven’t experienced that yet
Lots of facilities that help me develop my education and knowledge
Has lots of societies, in a great location near the centre and Uni Of.
Love it so fun so slay yas man
100% mint if you are doing creative stuff. Nice environment help teacher
Brilliant facilities and lovely staff, there's always something on at the student union and everyone is so friendly. The building itself can be a bit confusing at first but there's signs all around directing you on where to go. The facilities themselves are great, they have access to so many different art materials from paints to laser cutters and even a ceramics workshop.
Sufficient facilities for my coursework purposes, not as many clubs as it is a smaller university, pretty good student union, careers advice feels fairly freelance focused
The University has a beautiful building. The faculty is always there to listen to you and help you out with academic needs. The Union is always there to help you out with most of the stuff and they organise many events and make you Uni life fun and comfortable
Good uni, lovely staff and good facilities for my course.
So far have loved studying here doing Textile Design, all the tutors are super nice and enthusiastic about the subject and the campus/facilities are amazing, especially the print room!
Other then the really bad internet its a great small and specialized University
Good I am enjoying where I am studying
Great course and facilities. Definitely recommend for any art students.
Haven’t been there long but great community atmosphere and support across the board
Tutors are nice and responsive to emails, people are nice and are up for a good chat
All the staff here are so welcoming and funny not to mention all of the students are polite and help make it less daunting, everyone’s in the same boat as you so it’s nice
Great atmosphere and student life
Amazing course and outstanding resources
Incredible course and amazing location
Had a decent foundation year at leeds art university. It is very independaant and asks quite a lot from you academically. I had an enjoyable time though. It does set you up for the years after.
It feels wrong to review a university during coronavirus, as I know that I am not getting what others in years behind me might, however leeds arts have been super supportive and understanding throughout this entire situation. they have tried their best (and succeeded) in keeping the campus open and their services available to students
