I have enjoyed my time at UoA so far. COVID means I haven't even visited the student union yet. The wifi on campus is good, can sometimes access it at the beach. There are plenty of clubs/societies but many aren't running as normal or at all.
the library is huge and it gives a nice atmosphere vibe to focus on my studies. as the teaching is mostly online and the usage of campus facilities is quite limited, I cannot give much comment on that yet.
Good facilities, very welcoming
I really liked the easy application process as everything was self explanatory. Also in those difficult times the university managed everything very professional!
All worked very well student union was good at hillhead and on campus but maybe lacked a bit compared to some other Unis as the Bobbin seemed to have more of a student feel then the students union ever did.
I regret attending this university. It was a mistake the teaching quality got worse and worse by the year.
The university was fabulous on the other hand, I feel the accommodation are ruining it for the university, (Unite Students,King Street Exchange)
The university is very helpful and friendly with students from all around the world, and they are doing very well to maintain the safe environment under COVID-19 situation
I am happy at Uni, but due to Covid it is very hard to join clubs and social events. I am happy I go to the gym though.
Having previously studied at another university, which I loved, I found Aberdeen lacked the same quality of nightlife, societies, teaching and student union. I found myself resenting my subject choice and decision to pursue a postgraduate degree as I was so miserable there.
