Somerset Court Biography
Somerset Court is ideally located as it’s within walking distance of many universities. You’ll be just twenty minutes from University College London, Birkbeck, King’s College London, and more. Camden Town is only a fifteen-minute walk away, offering fantastic nightlife and bustling markets to explore. The accommodation is minutes away from Euston Station where you have great transport links to Angel Islington and Holloway.
Inside the building, you have a cosy common room fitted with a TV, comfy sofas and a pool table. If you are in need of a late-night snack there is a handy vending machine on site.
There are 168 rooms, each offering its own private bathroom. Students who opt to live in a cluster flat share a well-equipped kitchen and living space with 3-5 flatmates. There are also studio options and one-bedroom flats available for those looking to have their own space.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

!!!!!Somerset Court!!!!!! This is one of London's top student accommodation! I want to rate 10 stars for this property and Staff. The rates are reasonable as well, and I like my new home, !!!Somerset Court!!!. All staff are very welcoming and helpful especially Edson Team Manager who is very supportive and very friendly and can solve any problem very quickly. Also Chang at reception makes me feel more comfortable and easier to communicate in my language. I have a beautiful bedroom in Somerset Court with enough space. Each weekend, the team provides complimentary tea/coffee and snacks at the reception. I also feel very safe in this property because there is always someone at the reception and monitors especially when I receive my food delivery at the front door. Travelling is also very easy because the underground and bus station is very close. I love this place Thank you Somerset Court to make me feel like home.

I feel safe to live here, cause the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Edson and Chang. Edson greets us everytime with smile. He offered help for us positively, such as opened the door for me when I took a lot of stuff on hand. Chang is always a great staff, helpful and patient. The location is good generally. It takes me at least 15 mins to walk to campus. Sometimes I feel tired. But it's also near Camden, British Library, train stations and so on, which is convenient.
Somerset Court has excellent location and property management. The manager Edson Chang so nice and provide very good service.
I like the location of this place where I could see a school out of my window. It’s so good to watch children playing. Also, the service of the front desk is great! Edson is an awesome person who always says hi to me with the smile! Chang is a careful person who always provides generous help!
This is a brillant student accommodation. Especially for the team which is really helpful. A big thank for student team leader Edson, he can solve the problem quickly and always passionate. As well as, thank you for Mr. Chang, he makes us live more conveniently like from home and communicate easily. The room keeps verly clean and a good place to live for students.

I really enjoyed the safety and good location of the accommodation - it is 15 minutes’ walk from UCL, and right next to Euston station. Edson and Chang were instrumental in making the living experience very pleasant - I really appreciate their efforts in decorating the common spaces for events such as Halloween, Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day. Always friendly and helpful. Whenever there were issues, the team was on hand, quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you!
Its a very good experience living in this flat. Its near the college and the environment is very good. The reception has nice patience and helped us alot when we have some problems (especially mention Edson and Chang, they are nice). Besides, the maintenance service is also quick and efficient.

When I first moved into room, I found lots of things were broken (like the heater). Also I found that my roommates and I have different rents that my rent is about 30 pounds more per week.
