I have lived here for the past three years and the hospitality has been 2nd to none. There is someone on the front desk who I would specially like to mention called Yelena. She has been great. They always put on good events and give us free pizza. I love this place. I would also like to mention that there is no problem that Yelena cannot solve.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Hi! Thank you for your review. We are very pleased to see that you are enjoying your time with us at Prince Consort Village.
This is a great place to stay in as a student, especially if you’re new in London. Staff are incredibly friendly, and supportive. Especially Nihal, Ebony, Elena, Courtney, and Peter. Reach out to them with any issues you may face during your stay here. The dorms are quite spacious and clean. Same with desk space. I spend a lot of time working on my desk, and it’s a big plus that everything’s very comfortable. Shelf and closet spaces are roomy enough for clothes, and wooden hangers. I was able to find space for my suitcase as well. The dorms that come with a kitchen are great and clean too. The real beauty of Prince Consort Village though is the lobby as well as the courtyard, study room, gym, and practice rooms. I highly recommend staying here until the end of your studies in London.

An amazing student accom. Worth the cost if it is in your budget. Very well tailored for music students with lots of social opportunities. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. Would have stayed for my third year, had I not previously arranged living arrangements early on for next year.

Had a great experience at prince concert village, the staff are easy going and always happy with helping needs as well as always being up for a conversation which helps as a student. The facilities are great, I spent a lot of my time in the games room helping me socialise with others would recommend to anyone.

The staff here are SO lovely and incredibly approachable! The price is good for central London and the rooms are genuinely very soundproof (great for 400 musicians). However, maintenance issues are resolved inconsistently and the kitchens are very dirty.

A well-maintained place, with a lovely sense of community. Not the closest place to reach college, but the route is more than easy enough to follow.

Hi. Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you had a positive experience staying at our Prince Consort village.
Prince Consort Village is a very convenient place for music students to live. We are free to practise whenever we wish thanks to the practise rooms downstairs available 24/24.
Hi. Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you had a positive experience staying at our Prince Consort village and that you were able to enjoy the music practice rooms that we offer.
I enjoy staying at the Prince Consort Village.
Hi. Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you had a positive experience staying at our Prince Consort village.
The staff are really friendly and try their best but it’s disappointing that a flat with a shared kitchen for seven flats and only a small bedroom and tiny ensuite will be over £200 a week. Though there are amenities, we still have to pay around £5 per load of washing, and there’s not enough washing machines for the building. The accomodation is also in a very quiet area and there’s not much to do around here.
Hi, Thank you for your review, although we regret to hear that you have not had the best possible experience whilst staying at our Prince Consort Student Village.
