The accommodation is quite good in terms of the room and bathroom but still unaffordable for an ensuite. It's definitely further from the UCL campus compared to other accommodations but there are lots of amenities and everything you could ever need is within 15 minutes walk. Staff and cleaning are the best and very professional - could not ask for more.

The overall experience is good and the place is clean and tidy. Though some of the kitchen facilities are not working.
The location was really good! Really easy to get to uni/central London via underground or bus. A couple of the staff could be a little rude but most of them were nice. Accommodation is also right next to a Costa, Starbucks, Tesco Express and a small Sainsbury's. My only complaint is that my room would get really hot in the summer, and the windows only open a little bit (if you have a room facing the street). The street noise didn't really bother me too much and you can't really hear anything if you keep the window shut. The accommodation team does make an effort to host social events, but I didn't attend any of them, so I can't really comment on that aspect. Rent is expensive but you are right next to an underground station.
the location of the New Hall is almost on the tube rail. You cannot open the windows as the trains passing all the time will bring you headaches. Also, the maintenance team open your studio/room and do checks almost every week . They opened my studio two times while I was sleeping in the morning.
Nice location which is close to the uni and tube station. Staffs are kind and they received parcels as well. The light, loo and especially radiator were broken quite often. Otherwise, it was nice experience to live here. :)
miss living in this place
Management staff extremely helpful and try to get problems sorted as quickly as possible. They reply back quickly to email queries. The manager seems friendly whenever I interact with him. Maintenance quick to complete tasks and friendly; I reported a problem and it was solved the next day. The cleaning is spotless in my communal kitchen; and they even clean up after my messy flat mates. The building is more up to date than other UCL buildings I have visited and seems value for money for the location and facilities. There could be more social interaction as there is a high proportion of international students who keep to themselves; and I wish we had a pool table or foosball table.
Too many inspections, and the "maintenance" staff come by unannounced to covertly spy on you, while carrying out some alleged work (recently came to look at my door which apparently wasn't latching properly, even though it is perfectly fine and at no point did I ask for maintenance to come around). The staff do the bare minimum, and when you complain all they do is spout a stream of "regulations" at you. They threatened to fine me for bringing my own futon bed to sleep on, because the tiny hollow spring mattress bed they provide gives me back problems. The cleaner constantly moves stuff around, and has absolutely no respect for private property, and only ever does a superficial job. Why pay more for something you can do yourself in 5 minutes? Expect to pay an extortionate amount of money for a tiny, squalid room and to be treated like a child by the staff.
Too many inspections, which require room entry. One of the staff is very rude. A lot of the residents said the same thing about this rude staff. Cleaners always ask us to clean the kitchen. Why do we have to pay so much if we have to clean the kitchen by ourselves. Might as well reduce the fees and we'll clean it ourselves and the hall inspects it.
Cool place with lots of interesting people.
