I am very pleased to stay at Highlight Parkgate for the last two years of my university life. It is located nearby the Heuston station which makes it easy to commute all over Dublin and Ireland. It is located next to the Phoenix Park where I would go for picnic or run in the summer months. The price is reasonable considering Dublin is an expensive city. The accommodation staffs are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this student accommodation.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The staff at reception and the security who stay at night are wonderful. The accommodation has a great location. It's a few minutes walk from a train station and has many options for transport nearby. The flats are well laid out and well equipped.

Thank you for your wonderful review!
It’s a great place to comeback to everyday, The bed is very comfortable and quiet enough to have a good sleep at anytime of day.

Thank you for a lovely review!
Very nice place to live, friendly and helpful staff, only big gripes are that laundry is €7.90 for a wash and dry and that the bathroom lights and fan are automatic- they turn off in the shower or stay on way too long, and the fan can be really noisy

Thank you for your review. Unfortunetely the washing prices aren't set by us as we use a third party contractor and the automatic lights are used so that we are energy effiecient. Many thanks, Fresh
Highlight Parkgate is a nice accommodation with new, good facilities and great, friendly, available staff. I love living here because it's calm and safe. The only least positive aspects I can mention are the small study room (which easily runs out of space), small gym and price (for the gold room) given that it's a shared kitchen, and distance to city centre. Besides that, I love living here.

Thank you for your review.
Great student accommodation with modern facilities, a friendly community, and a convenient location for university life

Thank you for reviewing us :)
great building and location, missing some more social areas and activities to mix with other students

Thank you for your review, be sure to check out any Be events we run to be able to socialise with other residents'.
Overall, it's a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for your review!
I must admit that the Bronze room, although incredibly small for the prize - as most housing in Dublin - is modern and quite comfortable. It has a small double bed which is good enough even if two people want to sleep on it. The lights and switches are well located and there are plenty, so there is no need for extension cords - another point in favour. They come with an en-suite bathroom which is distinctively the best feature as the bathroom itself is comparatively quite big. Now with the downsides. The shower has virtually no pressure most of the times. The shower head is fixed, which is a problem if you're either too tall or too short for it. Plus, it is a massive inconvenience if you have any kind of dye in your hair, since the water splatter means that you will inevitably stain the plaster between tiles inside the shower. The staff does not deal well with anti-social behaviour, resulting in reoccurrence (1 year of it is more than enough, thank you). This is the maximum I can write
