Dominick Place is a wonderful accommodation located right along the Laus line which makes getting to TCD campus a breeze. The building is also only two blocks away from the Illac Centre. The rooms are modern, spacious and well kept. The bathroom is ideal for a single student. The common rooms are always clean and easy to use. The kitchens are lovely and have durable modern fittings. The apartments are incredibly cozy and the perfect place to call home! The only downside has been the lack of social events. I would 10/10 recommend staying at Dominick Place

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

It’s a nice building with great facilities & it’s clean however, the main doors to the building work electronically and are very temptemental. There also aren’t many events organised to promote social interaction other than a soccer team & pool tournament

The best student accommodation in Dublin. Absolutely no complaints.
Very good management with a very good student crowd to hang out with. The property is clean eith all the amenities included. Its a great student experience overall
I have been living here for 2 years and the experience has been great, the staff are the nicest. I am from Spain and booking accommodation in Ireland can be stressful but with this Dominick place, all the stress goes away. I recommended it!!
I've lived at Dominick Place since the day they started the accommodation and it's been a great experience. Kudos to Damien for making the place warm and hospitable for us!
Dominick place has been my home away from home. The community & staff have helped me during my time at college. The location & facilities are top-notch! I would highly recommend Dominick Place!
It’s been a nice experience to stay at Dominick place in this year, and I would love to repeat the experience if i got the chance to stay in Dublin.
Had a great time hear, very friendly staff and amazing experience altogether.
I been at Dominick for two years, and I'm rebooking for next year because the location is valuable, next to the LUAS stop, and all the bus stops too, also a quick walk away from the train station as well. its highly convenient. The facilities are great, machines work fine, the study spaces and common rooms are really comfortable. The room size is really decent and the layout is more comfy/practical when compared to other accoms such as New Mill and Apato and MOST IMPORTANTLY the staff is amazing and treats you with respect, they really make you feel at home.
Great Student Accommodation, close to city transits, respectful management team, and comfortable rooms
Loved my time in Dominick place, staff are wonderful & make staying away from home a lot easier. Couldn’t have stayed at a better student accommodation.
I’ve personally had a very good experience, the staff are very lovely and I love the accommodation itself, the rooms are very nice and the location is good. The only drawbacks would be the price is very expensive and also the flat was slightly dirty when we moved in. Overall, however, I would recommend Dominick Place.
My stay at Dominick’s Place this year has been absolutely superb despite Covid restrictions. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and the rooms are quite comfortable.
Staying at Dominick Place was really good experience
Dominick place accommodation ,
A fantastic place, the staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.
Was a great stay all year very secure and friendly staff
Really friendly staff who are always willing to help, great location and good value for money when you factor in location and facilities available. Great place if it’s your first time living away from home.
Dominick Place is a very modern and well equipped student hall, the fit and finish of my room is very high quality and I’m rather impressed with that aspect of living here. Social spaces are limited due to covid but the management team have endeavoured to open them to us through individual booking systems etc. Overall I’ve had a great stay and would be quick to recommend it to any of my student friends.
