It is excellent everywhere in here. The management team are superb and friendly, the common spaces are well-organised and clean. The internet is stable and strong. Most importantly, I am living with tons of convenience, for instance, the location of this accommodation are surrounded many grocery stores, pubs, a variety of restaurants. Furthermore, it is just nearby Queen’s University Belfast, so that I can travel there in a short while. In a nutshell, I could say that Botanic Studios is excellent!!!!!!!

They provide a good valuable accomadation which is a budget friendly for all the international students who came here as expecting a more and to change a life of there and there family. The only thing that does make this place stand out is location, very convenient, close to the university, different shops, parks around. Perfect location. However, the rest really leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival my room was not properly cleaned, even the chair with wheels was not moving because tons of someone’s hair got stuck in it. The interior design also leaves some questions. For example, my kitchen sink is attached to the worktable. Each time I wash anything in the sink, water splash reaches my worktable. It makes no sense who could have thought that such design solution was a good idea. My room also needs a lot of repairing because previous residents apparently never cleaned their room. The pinboard I had severe signs of damage, walls had cracks and holes. Apparently the damage was caused by previous residents but still we are paying so much money, it should cover some basic repairing and maintenance of the room.

Solid student accommodation, with friendly management team and prompt service as needed. Would have wished for there to be a quiet study room or other space to use, since the open common areas are quite noisy with the automatic doors and what-not. Was also annoyed by seemingly random monthly fire drills that happened very late (0100-0200 usually) on school nights — if the law requires that, disregard! But otherwise satisfied with my stay.

An unbeatable location for Queen's University students, this place is a hub of friendliness and support. The staff are super nice. The common areas are huge and awesome for hanging out with friends. You'll have a blast studying or just chilling here.

Good units and location, decently maintained but staff and security not up to the standards of other student accommodations around Belfast.
Your residents’ team is on hand during the day to address any queries and monitor the building entrance. Outside of these times, access to the building can only be secured by fob holders. Please feel free to talk to your residents’ team for any help and information.
Clean, quiet ideally situated in Belfast for transport links, city centre shopping, nightlife etc. Topping this off the residents team are second to none, super friendly and ready to assist with any issues or questions you may have!

my bathroom stucks since i reached here (1month ago).The water overflowing all around my living area. I request for maintenance but noone come to fix it. really sucks n it doesn't worth for 182pound. I called the fresh office noone pick up the phone and noone reply my email. Their attitude was totally different when i booked this accommodation. Quite disappointed for their maintainence.
Honestly I was very disappointed with my time at Botanic Studios, with no onsite security (you have to phone and wait to near half an hour for them to arrive) your safety should be a priority. However to have non residents still managing to enter the building as well as even sleep in the communal areas and especially being in a lively area with lots of pubs you are susceptible to coming across drunks hanging around. Note even security admitted that they have found people who did belong to the building in there and had to put them out. When moved in our room was dirty and damage on our walls from were someone had used blutack taking the paint off, as well as burn marks from were a candle must have been (which is not allowed) If you have any friends over be prepared to have to take them up to your room for a toilet as downstairs there is only a staff toilet amongst the common area The lack of professional staff is appalling, I have not felt like I was safe hands while staying there.
I have rented from three different private student accommodation providers during my 7 years of education: 4 years in Edinburgh, 1 year in Glasgow and I have spent the past 2 years with my current provider, Fresh Student Living (Botanic Studios) in Belfast. Without a doubt, Fresh Student Living in Belfast has been my best experience! The establishment is clean, warm, safe and situated in an excellent city location. The staff are friendly and extremely supportive. You are treated like an individual at Fresh, there are lots of activities and events for those who want to socialise, or you are left to live independently if you prefer to do so. There is a lovely mix of students from all over the world and the shared facilities are first class. I highly recommend Fresh Student Living in Belfast (Botanic Studios), I’m a PhD student and my private studio overlooking the city is the perfect place to study and relax.
Lovely reception, best place for budget accommodation, great rooms and right near the town center
The maintenance in this accommodation is lousy for the steep price we're paying. Hot water gets cuts off at random times and there is also issues with the piping/plumbing system that sometimes causes flooding from the toilet and the dirty water that goes into the washing machine. Theres also no security so it can get quite unsafe at night as anyone can get in, and whenever the fire alarms go off we have to wait for the firefighters to come and shut it down because of the lack of security in the reception. However, the rooms are relatively good and comfortable and the location is excellent but it doesn't justify the lack of necessities (good maintenance, security) we're supposed to have.
