I stay in a studio flat which is very spacious, they do not come with ovens so best to bring an air fryer! I’ve been here for over a year and will be staying for the next academic year. The staff have always been very friendly and the new building manager Bob has been great!! The location is perfect, more or less than 5-10 minutes walk from anywhere in the city centre, and the area is very vibrant. The rooms are very modern and the bathroom sizes are decent. Would highly recommend

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

I would like to give a special thanks to Emma, Petra and Enzi for making my stay comfortable you guys are truly amazing.
It’s been overall good staying here but maintenance are terrible. Elevator broken for over a month, window lock broken and won’t close properly and the whole academic year i’ve lived there nothing has been done after multiple complaints. They also like to complain about giving out fines to students for other peoples issues they caused. They do great events/gifts in reception and staffs such as Emma is helpful but other staffs have been rude quite often, and unhelpful. Other than this, location is great but it is quite loud with the traffic passing.
Welcoming and accommodating staff. Located in a nice area
The cleaning can be a bit improved. Otherwise when it comes to location, safety, socialising etc the accommodation is a top notch according to me. Also Emma is wonderful and manages everything efficiently.
Beautiful, high quality accommodation with modern rooms and all the amenities. Very quiet social wise so more for the quiet student
Walking distance to university. Many shops nearby for you to shop for groceries, clothes or food! Great space to make new friends.
Nice place to live and the reception is always decorated which is pleasant
Medici is great so far, my only complaint is the dirtiness upon arriving in September. My room was left with marks on the walls and stickiness in certain places. Carpet on my floor is quite stained too but other than that it it’s a nice place
It’s really good here, like the location is in such a good area. Emma is such a good manager here, genuinely I think if Medici didn’t have her, this would be a horrible place. Emma makes it so much more welcoming, especially the maintenance team as well. They do so well here so.
A nice place with Suitable and affordable prices for different types studios. A nice and friendly manager that’s willing to support her students. Highly recommend medici.
I’ve throughly enjoyed my time at Medici and it feels like a home away from home! I wish I stayed here for my whole course period.
