Overall the Accomodation is a nice place to stay surrounded by other student accommodation and nearby pubs. However the common room of the Accomodation is not worth the price, considering that you have to pay additional amount to play games. There is no pool table as well. Other than the the room maintenance team is always available, however repairing the common lift took a month yet the other facilities provided are amazing

Room is great value for money, lots of space. Maintenance have been very fast to any issues Would maybe recommend a new parcel system that is safer and allows parcels to be delivered after 5pm. Great location for social events, groceries, small businesses and scenery. Minor issues arose with staff being rude but resolved

In the common area we have table tennis and a foosball which has always been and is free to use, we are unsure of the confusion but please be assured they are free to use! Pleased to hear you are enjoying our other facilities onsite and thanks for appreciating our maintenance team. The lift issue was something out of our control and we apologise for the incovenience caused and any disruption, we thank you for your understanding. Overall it's fine there have been a few issues over my time living here such as additional charges for a faulty fire alarm and a mould issue in my bathroom but the staff are as helpful as I would expect security ain't great between front doors that don't close automatically and a back gate that doesn't either and it doesn't need a code to unlock so anyone could get in here but security is dilligent on closing it when they are here wifi hasn't been much of an issue and the power was only lost once so as stated before it's fine overall

I'm happy with my accommodation. It's been a good experience and the facilities are great. The staff are friendly too. The only difficult thing is no reception staff over the weekends, which makes parcels and post difficult.

Living at Stepney Yard has been fantastic for my last year, Ive had one of the mezzanine studios and it's been a blast! The staff are lovely and friendly and are quick to sort problems. The only things I feel it could benefit from is having more supervision from night time staff, a better way of managing packages that feels more safe (eg maybe using a QR scanner in order to access post) and leaving more time at the end of tenancies between new tenants as when I arrived my room had a few issues. However staff were quick to resolve it and I would recommend Stepney yard to all students! thanks for a fab year!

Nice Location, mix of all academic years so you get to know a lot of people, lots of events held. Lovely spacious room. Quick and easy walk to uni and close to amenities like Tesco’s

Amazing place to stay, has friendly staff and good facilities, but would benefit from having security on site all night when other students party too loud sometimes

Its a really good budget friendly accommodation, with spacious rooms and required amenities. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location of the accommodation is close to both universities and the city center. Plus, it is close to the Tesco and pharmacy and other refreshing amenities for ease as an international student.

Close for Northumbria uni, pretty far for Newcastle. Management isn't great, left us without electricity over a weekend and told us it wasn't urgent enough. When I paid the second instalment, my banking app didn't allow screenshots for security reasons so this left me unable to send a receipt; I then gave them the personalised reference number they make you use for crosschecking and also offered to show the payment at reception, but was told I have to send a receipt with no help on how to then go about this. Me and a flatmate were also chased up on a "1p underpayment" out of a total instalment of around £2400 - yes, one penny - and in the end it turned out they read their own tenancy agreements wrong and there was no 1p underpayment. WiFi tends to be reliable but you have to click reconnect each time you re-enter the building. All in all, wouldn't recommend based on how reception and management treat you.

Awful, my flat has a silverfish infestation which i have already reported once and they said maintenance has sorted something out. 2/3 weeks later the silverfish are back. Awful for what i pay in rent and the administrator has a real attitude

When emailing staff about an issue that I had they were rude and I understand that words can be misunderstood over emails but after feeling the same way after multiple emails I concluded that it wasn’t a misunderstanding and in the end I was the one who ended up solving the problem as I didn’t receive the help I needed.
