The apartment facilities are very good, super close to the business school, shopping is also very convenient, the staff is very friendly, especially Michael, he is super friendly and helpful, every time we meet, we always say Hi and it is a pleasure to talk to him. Overall a good place to stay. Common space could be improve with more board games. Took half a year for the pool cue to be replaced. Staffs are nice and helpful so far. (Mark Q)

To be honest all of the morning shift staff are rude and they lack of efficiency except wackey if I am not misspelling his name, he’s a good guy he loves to help. As for the night shift staff( night owls 🦉) They are all helpful, cheerful, and cooperative, and they always strive to develop the place and make it a suitable environment for students. My greetings to all the night shift staff first, and then my special greetings to Michael. I have lived in many places and dealt with many employees, but I have not found anyone like Michael. He is a very special man who adds value to the place. He is respectful and loves to help. If there is a reason for me to renew my contract, it will only be because of Michael!

I think the attitude at the reception is better than before.
The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Mark is a great Student Roost representative; whenever I requested something he was there to provide what I needed. I literally had a very good time staying with Student Roost Jame’s Point. The place is designed for students to high standards. Compared to other student accommodations, this place is at the very top I would probably rank it 1 or 2 in Newcastle.

On 12th June, I checked in, and found the windows in my room are dirty which full of mud and bird ****, so I asked the frontdesk and they said they will clean in next few weeks. What's worse, when I open the clothes store I found a lot of cleaning tool in there with A LOT OF DIRTS I don't know who leave there and I feel so frustrated, and one thing is great that they are serious about the self-isolation and they provide help for the delivery the takeaway and parcel to your room.

The place and especially the washing machines in the main building are filthy. FILTHY. I have reported that issue 3 times now and to no avail. I have also been having problems with noisy neighbours for weeks now and nobody has replied to my emails or tried to help in any way. The walls and floor of my room are vibrating from the bass of somebody's music. And it's been happening every day, all day, only stopping at 2:00am! Like how am I supposed to sleep or study? And I am paying huge amounts of money to stay here. IT'S HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It has the best location you can ever ask for! 5 minutes to Chinatown, less than 10 minutes to city centre, 30 seconds to business school! Very friendly staffs, maintenance is always prompt and responsive if anything is broken. 24hours security and parcels will always be collected.

The best student accommodation to stay in Newcastle! Rooms are really spacious with so many facilities! Only minutes away from the business school & main campus. There are so many activities to get involved in-you won't get bored, I promise! The staff go above and beyond to meet your needs & make sure you are comfortable and happy. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in :)
