We have been at Hello Student for years and have just left. The first year was so good and we booked again to remain in the same room. The building is old but very big and a great location, there have also been frequent events and the team put a lot of effort into this. Things changed after the second year and unfortunately a new manager came. The atmosphere changed and we felt uncomfortable and mocked. it’s unfortunate because they didn’t take our complaint seriously, after staying for so long we felt let down by this and gave up. The reception team and maintenance are really friendly people. The internet connection was fine and we always seen cleaning in the building.

Friendly staff, all socially areas are well kept, slight issues with the Wi-Fi within the first few weeks but they were quickly solved.

This is a really good place. near the university of liverpool abd just take me about 5-10 minus everyday to my classroom.

The student apartment is very nice, the management is nice and the location is good. And the room is big and not expensive.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to campus and all the amenities I need. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always on hand to answer any questions. The accommodation is a good place to relax and study. Recommend.

The building is old, so naturally there are many repairs. The complaints about things that need to be fixed get addressed but never resolved. I have been forced to live without a functioning heater in winter and it has made me sick. No matter how many times I inform the staff about the things that need to be fixed in the flat they say it gets logged but never done. There is no option within the complaint logging to inform the maintenance to come in regardless of whether someone is home. Problems remain unresolved for weeks and sometimes even months.
Staff are just lovely ☺️ been here for 2 years and not even considering moving! Quite a bit pricier than other accommodations that I could find, but the location is really convenient. Pros - AMAZING staff. Can’t stress this enough. They always remember my name, remember any issues that I bring up and try to solve them asap. - Awesome location, everything is so close, I’ve never even needed to take the bus for anything. I really like the reception and management team! - Love having high ceilings. - Building is always spotless. Cleaning staff is so sweet as well. Cons - Laundry room could be attended a bit more and could have more equipment. - Fire alarm testing happens far too often. - Pricier than most other accommodations. - Bathroom flooring could be better. The rubber is just not ideal for cleaning and day to day use.
