I went to Paris for a trip between 2/3 and 2/17, and I left my keys to a very friendly worker at the reception. Her name is Chon and she took great care of my keys. Later, another friendly worker Peter gave my keys to a friend of mine(as I asked) so that he can water my plants. I really like how the workers at Unite Students liverpool cherish the plants’ lives as well as they cherish the students’ rights. The workers are all very nice and easy to talk to. Lennon Studios is a two-minute walk from LJMU and the University of Liverpool campuses. The city's stunning cathedrals and two major train stations are within easy reach. You can benefit from being located in the heart of Knowledge Quarter, where you have plenty of nightlife spots, culture, bars and restaurants to enjoy.
During the summer months, you and your friends can enjoy basking in the sun in the outdoor social space. To ensure your stay is as convenient as possible, there is car parking on-site as well as at other properties for an additional charge.
Lennon Studios offers residents a selection of cosy rooms to choose from. You can choose to stay with friends and share a bathroom and kitchen, or if you would like more privacy, you can opt for an en-suite room with a private bathroom or a self-contained studio.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The staff are great, the actual buildings are slightly dated and things are prone to breaking.

Staff are lovely - particularly Yusuf and Amy. Really approachable and helpful. Sometimes reception is closed for some unexplained reason which can be very inconvenient. Maintenance are hit and miss - sometimes they fix it straight away, other times they take ages to get back to you or they say it’s resolved when actually they can’t fix it. Laundry rooms are not great, never enough machines for the amount of people that need it. Have also been aggressively intimidated by someone wanting to use a machine I was using. Have been charged twice multiple times for washes. Outside gates are very stiff and hard to manoeuvre when you’re alone. Also the main gate was left open for weeks on end which doesn’t feel very safe/secure. Have also seen people that don’t live there walking round to see the blue plaque where John Lennon was born which also doesn’t feel very safe. We have no curtains in our kitchen and when we complained, they told us they couldn’t provide us with any.

The flat as a whole is quite nice with lots of space, and big windows. But when we moved in there were a lot of problems. With windows not closing properly, kitchen sink constantly blocking. There are also other problems with things like the Wi-Fi almost never working. Or when it does, the Wi-Fi’s connection is poor. I will say though, the staff on the front desk are amazing, and always helpful for every problem we have. Always happy to help us, which is very nice to have.

My experience with this company and in the same student village last year was amazing, but this year is almost unbearable, and is making me depressed/making my mental healt worse. When we moved in, the flat was filthy, with smears and dirt on the walls. The storage (cupboards) are insufficient, and so we keep what eating and cooking utensils and food that won't fit, in bags and boxes on the floor in the kitchen. The decor is depressing and outdated, magnolia walls look dirty and bleak and clash with almost all other colour schemes to apply any alleviating interior decor. The doors and walls have chipped paint and holes in them, filled shoddily, my door even having splintered edges in the filled hole in it. I am so unhappy, but understand I'm stuck. I have faith in the company to be better though, because my experience last year was amazing, and the staff at the reception desk last year were (and those that remain continue to be) the most lovely and genuinely kind people at heart.

Philip, the resident ambassador, really helped in making the place feel like home. With well organized events, the accommodation became lively and always had something to look forward to.

The staff is attentive to service, and the activities held from time to time are colorful, which adds fun to the after-school life. Maintenance is quick and the corridors and community are clean and tidy. “Philip Steve Mathew” is a very warm and friendly person who talks to us often.
