Byrom Point offers studios and en-suite rooms in the heart of Liverpool. Residents are within a twenty-minute walk from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University.
Not only does Byrom Point have a convenient location, it also boasts great facilities. There’s a gym that is exclusive for residents, and at the heart of the property is a communal lounge with comfy seating. The quiet study room is a great place to focus on studies when you need a change of scenery from your bedroom or the library.
All of the rooms in this accommodation are stylishly designed and come fully furnished with a double bed, ample storage and a great desk area. If you opt for a studio, you can enjoy more privacy with an en-suite shower room and a private kitchenette. The en-suite rooms in cluster flats are ideal if you’re after more communal living, as they are in flats that have a shared kitchen and living space. We have flats that consist of ensuite rooms with a communal kitchen and living area. We also have studios which are self contained for those wanting more private accommodation.

I stayed at Byrom Point for my first and second years. It is really good student accommodation. The kitchens are big and the rooms can vary in size. I stayed in the Bronze room and it was enough space. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly! Plus it is across the road from Byrom street campus so is very convenient for lectures there.
I have a good time here, the stuff are very friendly and helpful. They made this place feel like home away from home.

I've only lived here for one year and let's just say its the best place to live, it's down the road from all of your shops, and round the corner from the docks, it's a nice place to live, staff are very friendly, and will always look after you, highly recommend

Very noisy in terms of road noise even with windows closed. Wifi was often down or incredibly slow.

I have enjoyed living here for my first year of university however I will not be staying as the price is too much but you do kind of get what you pay for as of the location and the services. The internet was an issue as it is very inconsistent and will cut out often but worked good when it does work.

I have enjoyed my stay here over the course of the first year at university. The one thing that has let me down is definitely the wifi as it made it harder for me to attend my lectures as well as watching films etc.

I've lived at Byrom Point for the last 4 years and I have no regrets about my decision to live here! The staff are super friendly always ready to help. This year I had some issues regarding my rent discount and Faye really went out of her way to help me out. She tirelessly worked to sort the matter out and ensured that I was satisfied with the outcome!

Definitely the best student accommodation in liverpool. Staff are so friendly and quick to fix any problems. Easy to have a chat with them. Rooms are spacious, bright and modern. The ensuites are very modern and clean. Lots of storage space. Overall a very friendly welcoming place with the best location close to everything.

I lived in byrom point whilst studying in my first year, I couldn't recommend enough the staff at reception are lovely and Always willing to help there is more than enough space. The views are lovely and the common room is a great way to meet new people. The byrom team have been extra helpful with encouraging us to use the common room and meet new people.

I lived in Byrom Point for two years and it was the best accommodation I could have gone for. It is so close to everywhere, the university itself, the shopping centre, train and bus station and also the docs. It was always so clean and the staff were lovely, If we had any issues they would come up straight away and sort it. I stayed in the accommodation over the first lockdown ad the staff were always supportive and kind. The 24hr security made me feel very safe. The social spaces were great for when we had friends over. The parcel collection was very handy and secure, ensuring no one could steal them. Sleeping in the day having working nights was great due to the walls being quite sound proof therefore the rooms were always quiet. The layout of the kitchen was great and felt homely, with plenty of space. I would certainly recommend Byrom to students due to it being so convenient, in a great location and you get your money's worth.

Byrom Point is a 5 minute walk from the James Parsons campus buildings, and 5 minutes from the Avril Robarts library. It's super close to town, and there's a tesco express as well as a 24 hour shop in the same street. The staff were always so friendly and the social areas are great. Theres also a vending machine! I stayed here for two years and wish I'd stayed for a third.

I’ve been living here over well over a year and the WIFI HAS ALWAYS BEEN HORRIBLE it’s actually ridiculous for the price we pay. I’ve complained many times and nothing is done!! You obviously need to change your provider cuz this’s a shame.

I booked here at Byrom Point after I heard from various sources and at university that the social life is great and the staff are lovely - and on that, this accommodation definitely delivers! The views from the top floors are stunning and i'm glad they run regular social events in social spaces. A special thanks to Michelle, Nathalie, Alan, Alex and all the RAs!! Thank you! My only constructive criticism would be to get the table tennis bats replaced, the pool table cover cleaned and make sure students stop playing beer pong on it!!

This is an amazing location to live as a student! It’s really close to town and John moores university and only a 20 minute walk to liverpool university!! The staff are always so sweet and always there for us for a chat! The gym, social space and study room is always a nice place to meet my roommates and the pool is free!!

The rooms are really good quality and have lots of space and storage. The only problems are that you are not provided with a toaster, kettle, mop or brush which should be included for the price and they don't tell you beforehand that they aren't provided. The wifi also isn't great and has quite a weak connection and if you have chrome products they will not work here as it is captive portal wifi. Other than this, it's a great place to live.

We currently do not provide a kettle and toaster in the kitchen area, however we do provide the oven, hob, kitchen table and benches, fridge freezer, communal tv, 2 sofas and 2 bins. But, we will be sure to look into this as we do often have spares if some kitchen appliances should some stop working. We are also working on a solution with the internet provider to make it the best it can be for our students. Here at Byrom Point you can find the friendliest staff members wether it is normal query or an unusual one you will receive first class service. All the common areas are clean and tidy 24/7 so I can't complain about this aspect either. If you want to watch the latest movies or TV shows be sure to spend some time in the social room; the TV has a Netflix account.

I really enjoy staying at Byrom! Can't fault any of the staff or the facilities, i quite like the fact the staff just leave you to it and don't act like our mums/teachers but we know they are available if we need them. Sue & Malissa are great to chat to if you need any advice although if Malissa knocks on your door you know you are in trouble and have done something wrong! The only suggestions i would give is to maybe have a few more social events on and also please please please start letting us have cleaning equipment again as it is a nightmare keeping the flats tidy!

Really good place to live the staff are really friendly and easy to talk there is only one drawback the studios could with an oven apart from that could ask for better accommodation walking distance to ljmu and to the city centre

I love staying at Byrom Point! The location is ideal for LJMU and is just a few mins walk away from the campus. The rooms are really spacious and the mirror lights in the bathroom are amazing!! The study room is probably the area i get most use out of and its such a good idea rather than being stuck in our rooms. I would recommend Byrom to any students especially 1st years.

Byrom Point is really good value and I would highly recommend it .I wanted the independence of living away from home for the first time but also wanted to have someone around if i needed anything .The staff at byrom couldnt be any more helpful .The manager Melissa and assistant manager Sue are always on hand and are quick to sort out any issues .They arrange lots of social events which is really helpful way to get to know other.students and help you settle in .They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and it makes a real difference . I have booked again for next year and would like to thank all the staff and look forward to spending another year.with you .If you still havent decided on halls for next year i recommend you call in to Byrom and see what they have to offer you wont be disappointed

I absolutely love staying at Byrom Point. The location is perfect for LJMU students and is just a 2 minute walk away from campus. The staff are lovely and remember the little things like when we have exams etc and always wish us luck. The rooms are ideal especially lights around the mirrors in the bathrooms! There is also a huge social space and study room area which is nice to go down to and revise or just chill if you dont want to be in your flat all day. This is my last year at Uni but i definitely would have stayed another year if i could.
