One of the best Uni of Leeds accoms, seems to get a lot more for your money than other accoms of similar prices. Perfect location, can get to the uni and town/shops within 5/10 minutes. Lots of storage space in rooms and the kitchen, and really nice having washer/dryers + TVs in the flat. Management are really quick and helpful with any problems in the flats, lots of accoms events and freebies throughout the year, and Carl the cat is always about in reception!! Not the most social accom but really depends on your flat/block as not all blocks have shared social areas.

Carlton Hill Biography
Carlton Hills is ideally situated for University of Leeds students as the university campus is right across the road. Residents will have access to everything Leeds has to offer as the city centre is only a short walk away.
If you enjoy socialising then Carlton Hills is the place for you. The building features multiple communal areas including six sky lounges, two roof terraces, a BBQ area and a landscaped courtyard which are perfect spots to hang out and get to know your neighbours. When it is time to get serious and get some work done, students can retreat to the bookable study rooms for some quiet time. Residents will also benefit from the free drinks machine, washer/dryer, cardio studio, bike storage, bike maintenance area, disabled parking and an onsite reception team.
The building offers 2, 4, 6, 7 & 8 bed en-suite shared flats, which have shared kitchen/living areas. Each room comes with everything you may need just add your finishing touches.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
