Rental payments are due in line with the payment schedule in your contract. If your first rent instalment is due on or before 2nd September, it will not be taken by Direct Debit or Recurring Card Payment, and you will need to log back into your booking or the resident portal and make this payment manually.

Yes, we do have an Ethernet port but you would need to bring your own ethernet cable and TV with you. Don't forget about purchasing a TV license as well.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

There are ants and they don’t believe they should care because “it would require evacuating the building” to get rid of them. Silverfish too. Cracks in the walls, only positive is the staff are nice. Don’t do anything in terms of pest control though. Fire alarm goes off two-three times a week because the windows are so far away from the stove that the ventilation is useless. I only like the few kind staff, and also the 3 week clean they provide.

I really enjoy living here, it’s my 2nd year here and the staff are lovely and helpful, the maintenance gets sorted out straight away if you have any problems with your rooms. The rooms are big and spacious and it has a lot of storage space. Our flat gets cleaned every two weeks which is great! I really enjoy living here and the price is acceptable for the place! I would recommend anyone to live here.

Overall good accommodation and good variety of local shops to get food and necessities. Maintenance issues around the accommodation could be fixed sooner. Regular cleaning of the kitchen area is good.
