Basically it’s fine. The location is good because it’s in the school. But it takes about 20 minutes to walk to city center. Also, the surrounding area is quiet, so you won’t get disturbed in the midnight. The receptionist is helpful, but there’s no 24hour security.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

really a great home for students, and the managers here are fantastic!!!
Great stay so far! Management is really helpful and she communicates with us frequently! The building and surrounding area is fairly quiet, so there are minimal disruptions.
The Priory is a really nice accommodation, especially for people who would like a quiet, peaceful place to live. I never have any problems with noise, and it's very easy to get on with work here and not be distracted. It's a very calm environment, and I always feel safe and relaxed here. The building is beautiful, and is very well looked after. The common room has just been renovated, and is a really nice social space, and the rooms are all going to be renovated soon too. The staff are so nice, they all care a lot about making sure students have a good time living here. They organise lots of fun events and they're always really friendly whenever I see them. The accommodation is in a good location too, it's very close to lots of university buildings and not far from the city centre, so there are lots of shops and places to go nearby. But it's also really nice and quiet, because it's on a quiet, dead-end road, so it doesn't feel like you're in the city centre.
Couldn’t recommend the priory enough Dan is absolutely amazing, the studios are beautiful and there’s plenty of events on to make friends if you’re a first year student.
A wonderful student accommodation! It is in the University of Leeds, so it is very convenient to go to class. You can walk to the classroom in five minutes. There are also lots of interesting activities.I highly recommend staying here.
The closest flat to the School of Geography and the Business School. The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable.
The Priory is a comfortable and beautiful accommodation to live in. The team are always willing to help and they make an active effort to ensure your comfort and treat you respectfully. It is conveniently located, practically, on the university's campus and is a couple minutes walk away from the city centre. The newly renovated common room is great for private or group study and is also well equipped for leisure. The picturesque grounds are frequented by rabbits and squirrels. The team does hold social events, and it is generally a quiet accommodation where neighbours are mindful of each other. The building has been recently taken over by a new company which has been committed to some, well needed, renovations.
Living in The Priory is a very good experience. I was attracted by it when I first came to Leeds last year. Compared with most modern buildings, it is a very distinctive student accommodation. Its location is fantastic, right on the University of Leeds campus, which is great for me who needs to commute to the lab several times a day. The community atmosphere here is very peaceful, the staff will hold social activities from time to time, and at the same time, residents will spontaneously hold some private parties in the renovated common area. Taking pictures here is like being in Hogwarts! The staff are friendly and always eager to resolve issues promptly. If there were any downsides, my room did not have a range hood, but I noticed that the rooms that were refurbished this year had it installed. Another suggestion is that the accommodation may consider setting up a printer in the common area. In short, I will remember my one-year living experience here!
Living in The Priory is an excellent experience. The accommodation is close to the school, so you don't need to get up early to get to class. It is located in the residential area opposite the Newlyn building. It's quiet and you don't have to worry about being woken up by noise. The rooms on the ground floor have been completely renovated. So although the house looks old on the outside it is very comfortable to live in. The reception staff Dan is a nice guy. He is always patient and responsive to our problems.
Wouldn't recommend, other than location the property cannot offer very much. Non-renovated rooms are barely functional, none of the facilities work (shower, toilet, sinks, etc.), and the renovated rooms aren't much better. Despite looking new, the rooms are cramped, dark and lack storage space. The wifi is incredibly poor, you have to sit in certain places in order to have functional signal, and even then many ports have been blocked, making access to things such as Discord impossible. With the building currently planning another renovation I would not plan on getting any sleep or peace if you book for 23/24. The builders are loud, inconsiderate and rude to tenants, and in the last renovation, work went over 8 weeks beyond the initially stated final day - this was not accompanied with updates/notices from onsite management, who didn't communicate with us, or apparently each other, and spread a lot of misinformation. Also unlike what is advertised here there is no parking
