The team and panmure and brewers court are really helpful, when I had an issue with my oven Conan one of the maintenance men was straight over to fully replace the oven with a brand new one within 15 minutes. Really lovely team of people, all very accommodating and always happy to help!

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The recent Easter event was very interesting and the service from Noel at reception was very good.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave us such a great review! It's great to hear you've had such a positive expereince with our team members and the efficiency of our maintenance team :) We really appreciate the feedback! - Student Roost
I really enjoy this accommodation, especially on rainy days. With the AC on, it's so cozy to lie in bed and do some reading. Another thing I love is the free gym and free snacks, which save me when I'm in a low mood or don't have time to cook.
Day time a taff are so friendly, nothing is too much for them. Night time staff are incredible too always willing to help and maintain the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation block. A short walk away from the train station and princes street so access to the city centre is very easy. Lived here for 2 and a bit years and haven’t had any issues with noise or other people in the accommodation, would recommend for both individual and dual residency couples.
very good place and high quality facility
WIFI is not so good, but customer service is very great!! Also there is little space for social interaction, and sometimes it is quite noisy.
Choosing Panmure Court as my home away from home for one year has been the best decision! The location is amazing, right in the city center, close to the Arthur's Seat and only a short walk from the Business school. The building is quiet, and really cozy. Overall, in my opinion the best place to stay in Edinburgh for students. I would like to especially thank Thomas and Louisa, who shared with me delicious recipes and chatted with me whenever I felt sad, without them my experience would not be the same. I will always think of Panmure Court as of my Scottish home. I highly recommend this student accommodation!
Thank you for your review! It's great to read your comments and we're so pleased you enjoyed your home with us in Edinburgh. Hope to see you again soon when you are back in the city! The Panmure Court Team
I must say it's one of the best choices I've ever made to spend my studying year in this accommodation. There has really great staff who would be willing to offer support at any given time. I'd like to express my appreciation to Luisa Bragaglia particularly, who has taken her time to chat with me, which made me feel supported and helped me ease some stress from the schoolwork. And she's a really kind and nice person with many great thoughts. Also, I want to thank Thomas who always offers the most sincere help and always does a great job. And I have to thank the guy who helped me replace my kitchen bulb. Sorry that I don't have his name but He did a very good job (who once checked the shower for every room several months ago). All of the staff here are showing the professional skills for their job. I do hope the wifi can be more stable. It sometimes breaks down and this affects my skype meeting with the supervisor. Also, sincerely suggest the curtains could be changed to block light.

Positive: Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice view to Arthur's Seat. Waverley Railway Station nearby. Negative: - Thin walls, therefore very loud. - Loud banging noise (likely broken washing machine) which usually lasted about 4 hours a day, This lasted for months without management doing something about it. - Shower head without shower hose was very uncomfortable. - It was really bothersome that almost every month there was some kind of inspection of the room. - No gym and no common room.
Thanks for your review. Great to hear you found our team to be friendly and helpful! We're always looking for ways to improve to create a memorable and enoyable experience for our residents so we apprecaite your constructive comments and will certainly work on how we can action them. The staff is great and welcoming. If there's a problem it gets quickly resolved. Good location for uni.
The staffs are very nice to us. The scenery here is beautiful. But the weather is too dry
The room was spacious and the location really good! It is actually the main advantage! I never had any problem with the management. It is a really quite accommodation since we are all post-grads. I would like though if it had a common room! My main problem was my mattress (really unbearable!) and the fact that there was only one (almost broken) vacuum cleaner for the whole building. However, I was really lucky and my room had a really nice view that I am going to miss! (not all rooms were like that)
