I am really enjoying my time here at Abbey House. It’s such a nice place and it’s so convenient too, as it’s close to the shopping centres in city centre and to Coventry train station. The staff here are amazing, especially Mandy in reception. I am really glad I rebooked for this year!

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

I love how peaceful the accommodation is and how it is well secured . The rooms are spacious and the storage is excellent . I love love my room so much but I don’t like the bed and the reason is because I use orthopedic bed due to my back problem at home but asides from that everything is excellent .i will rate it 8/10
The staff there are always helpful. The location is great as it is close to city centre and the train station.
Amenities are good, and it’s clean and secure. Additionally, it’s actually warm here which makes a nice change for student accommodation and the WiFi is reliable with good speeds.
Very good facilities, friendly staff who are always happy to help and a great location for coventry and Warwick students!

The greatest place I have ever stayed—I would go back again in a heartbeat.⭐️
It is good and amazing experience to live in Abbey House student accommodation, and in Coventry generally. It is my first ever time to experience student accommodation in the UK, and I'm lucky that I have found the best accommodation.
This is a great place for students to stay. The location is so convenient, as it's really close to Coventry station - travel to campus, or even places like London is so much easier. The accommodation itself is really welcoming, I find it really easy to study here using the study spaces. I also love my room! I'm in a studio, which is very roomy and has a great view of Cov itself
I'm very happy to be staying at Abbey House. It's a great size (not too big, not too small) and in an excellent location: the train station is a 5 min walk (if that), Aldi is a 10 min walk in one direction, and the city centre is less than a 10 min walk in another direction. The walk to Coventry University is also 10 minutes. There are great facilities here - card/app operated laundry, big communal social space and a great gym. My studio is very comfortable and well appointed - great study area, smart TV and comfy bed. The kitchen space is divided from the sleeping space with a bench/shelves, which is a great feature. It's also quiet. The staff have all been so friendly and nothing but helpful. I'm happy to recommend Abbey House.
Good place for students. The room is large enough with ample storage space. Very close to train and bus stations, easy to get around. The downside is that there is no 24-hour security, and the reception can't pick up the delivery after hours
Amazing accommodation, I love the gym and room is very clear and bright, especially, the staffs are very friendly!
Good location that next to the Coventry railway and bus station, suitable for Coventry or Warwick Uni student. Clean room and corridor. They have enough social facilities, like gym room, study room, even study area in the lobby.
It's actually a nice location, near the rail station and bus stop. The facilities are all great. The service from reception staffs are great. They are all nice people and glad to help us.
It is an absolutely great place with highest Covid-19 tailored standards. The receptionist and house manager Hedy is very friendly and is keen to always help residents out with any issues. A great gym facility on the ground floor and spacious study areas with large TV facilities for working on Your Uni presentation, when a your room environment is too familiar and demotivating. The location is also 1 min away from Coventry station which is 40 mins away from London Euston’s station to enjoy London vibes every weekends. Great value for money 💰 and top service quality.
