Rushford Court Biography
Staying at Rushford Court means you can make use of the low-cost bus which will take you to all of Durham University campuses. Durham train station and bus station are a five-minute walk away making commuting as easy as can be. If you are looking to get out and about, Durham city centre is a fifteen-minute walk away and is jam-packed with restaurants, shops, and bars. Alternatively, you can wander to Flass Vale nature reserve nearby.
You have a choice of common areas to choose from such as the cinema room, games area, and outdoor social space. There is a free on-site gym and music room as well as secure storage for bikes. The communal study area is ideal when needing to focus on your work.
Rushford Court offers a range of light, contemporary rooms. You can choose to stay in a studio or an en-suite room with a shared kitchen and lounge. All of the rooms have under-bed storage as well as a study desk and chair, so all you need to do is unpack.

Accommodation was in a great place and I really loved the rooms very modern and well organised. The staff sometimes didn’t sort issues very quickly and it was on the pricier side.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Construction is still ongoing so there aren't a lot of social spaces, but the student council makes sure to have enough activities to still build a sense of community

Best accommodation in Durham! Staff is very friendly and helpful e.g. needed to urgently print some stuff on Wed the 3rd at 3am and Dave B with Lee dropped everything they did and helped!

I’ve had a wonderful experience living here. The thing that has made my overall experience better has to be the staff. A special mention I would like to make it’s for the night manager Dave. He has been a big help when needed. Very friendly, helpful and polite.

Amazing location and staff, decent value for money. Main issue is the construction which is noisy and blocks our paths.

everything is good except for the fire alarm

It’s a nice location 5 ish minutes from the bus stop and on north road which is literally the centre of the bus stop. The staff are very friendly and always have an activity coming up. Laundry is a bit expensive though

WiFi went down for ten days in our block and we have very little communication about whether it would be resolved or not, and took ages to resolve. We have still not received compensation despite paying for a service we don't have access to.

I've spent the summer stay at Rushford Court and overall, it's been a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean, modern, and come with all the necessary amenities for student living. One standout feature of this accommodation is the wonderful staff, particularly Irma. Always friendly, and ready to help with any questions or concerns, Irma makes the living experience here that much better.
It’s a nice place. Really good for its price. The room layouts can be better though. Some rooms have an odd layout.

Rockford Court is really a good place to live with good location in the city of Durham, it only takes me 5 minutes to walk from apartment to the train station and 10 minutes train to Newcastle city center.

I live with 6 other flatmates in Rushford court. It’s really beautiful, the rooms are very big and have long windows. Mine has a lovely view of some trees which I like. The kitchens are amazing, super modern and very cozy. And I love the staff so much, they make it feel like a home from home.

My experience at Rushford Court, Unite Students has been simply amazing. The staff are nothing short of brilliant and they are always on hand to help with anything. Especially reception! They are so kind and generous and always brighten up my day. The accommodation and facilities are state of the art, I cannot recommend this place enough. Whether you be an extrovert or introvert there is something for everyone here.
