Choose to stay Elvet Studios and you'll be within a twenty-minute walk from Durham University's main campus and Bill Bryson Library. You can take a mere fifteen-minute walk to the city centre, where you will have a wide choice of bars, shops and restaurants.
The common room is newly refurbished and is equipped with comfortable sofas, a TV, board games and even a study space. There are vending machines for you to make use of when wanting to grab a quick snack.
The accommodation has a range of 112 purposefully designed spacious studios to choose from. All of which provide everything you need such as a kitchen, bathroom, study space and private space to eat.

Elvet is really nice and near university！

better have some gym equipment and the weekly fire alarm rehearse is annoying
In general, living in Elvet studios is a good experience. I would suggest the apartment organize more activities to enhance students communication. Also, there are some comments for the equipment. sometimes the shower is not working well (cold). We have Only two washing machines, which may not meet daily demands and they often break.

overall fantastic! love the warm staffs and the environment here. the maintenance comes very fast as well. not so satisfied with the network tho
I have a really great experience here and I found this is a quiet place which I can have a good rest and a study place. I will recommend my friend here if possible.

I came Elvet Studios when the UK still in the lockdown period. This place provided the safe home, and I quite enjoy my two years here. The management is lovely and you can get many supports if you asking for help! Hope the wifi and laundry can get better!

The experience of apartment here has been wonderful to me. But there was a problem with my online account, and I couldn't get online, so I called, and a very nice guy solved the problem.
