She’s genuinely made my stay at the emporium a complete bliss. I thought to take sometime today and just appreciate her kindness.

At The Emporium, you couldn’t be closer to class as Aston University is a five-minute walk away and Birmingham City University's city centre campus is across the road. The property is on the edge of the new Eastside City Park and in the heart of Birmingham, putting you in the middle of all the action.
After class, you can sit back and relax in the outside area, games room, living room and cinema. There is a handy study room, WiFi and gym for you to take advantage of. The all-inclusive bills and contents insurance give residents hassle-free student living. To make your stay as convenient as possible, there are bike storage and laundry facilities. I have enjoyed living here. The management team have been helpful when issues have occurred. However there has been a few issues such as the vent in the bathroom not working for the whole tenancy. This has made it very difficult for someone like me who has respiratory problems. Nonetheless if you need help. They are are willing to support you where they can

It’s all good, nothing bad, but the hot water pipe always gets something wrong.

Sometimes no hot water, always with good stuffs in reception.
Hi there. Glad to hear our reception Team are able to provide you with the snacks you need before/ after a long day! It is unfortunate that the Hot Water was down recently at The Emporium, but thankfully it was repaired quickly! We always look towards getting these types of repairs reported and resolved faster and faster, as Tenants you can aid in that by reporting anything you notice/ experience straight to your on-site reception Team! We of course would hate for this to happen again but in some instances, faults like these can be out of our hands! Expensive and you do not get value for money. -Heater does not stay on for long , heat will blast for 10mins then turns off and this process has to be repeated until you are warm -Wi-Fi is terrible and disconnects at inconvenient times -bin is too far, its likely for rubbish to accidentally fall on your way to the bins -weird restriction rules regarding the times the cinema movie room can be used -1st floor has had a mouldy and leaky ceiling for the last 2 years I’ve been here -not enough machines and dryers for 13 floors full of people, if there is a fault with one of the machines I was informed it is we the residents who have to get in contact with the company rather than the people who work in this building to sort out -fan in the shower does not work,each time there is a room inspection I report the issue and still nothing is done, I am not a broken record player - it’s frustrating -expect to not have running water or hot water despite paying for it , took 2/3 days to fix

Don’t come here guys, it’s a WASTE OF MONEY. there are rats and addicts all around the building, the staff is really arrogant. all they care about is money and if the rent has been paid on time. they do not care about students mental health

Clean place and close to everything

It is totally terrible! The lift always broken, I live in 13th floor!!!! The Wi-Fi is poor, especially in the early morning. The reception staff are very irresponsible. My parcel missed several times. And onetime, when I track my parcel, the website showed the driver left a card for me to told me to collect parcel in post office. But when I asked the reception, she even not thinking for a second. She said definitely no card. So I should contact the parcel force and waiting for respond. The parcel worth more than £170, and the reception ignored it. I was so angry!!!

here are mice under my floorboards, noise constantly and an awful smell from my shower. My single glazed flat was so cold I had to fork out for a new heater and the floors/ walls are so thin you can hear every conversation. Brought up these issues in January..... its June still not fixed. Please dont waste your money

It’s really good. It’s my first year staying here. I’m living in a studio and the facilities are quite nice. I usually use the gym on the first floor though it needs a little more equipment

Provides a lot, but issues take too long to resolve, or don't get resolved at all

The only bad thing about The emporium is the maintenance part. Last year my oven broke and they did almost 2 months to change it but overall the experience here is really good. Location is pretty good, most of the staff members are nice, very clean and there are rooms for entertainment and activities such as cinema, gym etc. There are also study rooms. The rooms are pretty big with nice furniture. However, there is a lot of outside noise and the windows do not do anything.

The place has a great location and great staff. They were great in accommodating any issues. The issues I had was with the internet connection and the theatre room was not available for a few months.
