Brilliant university. Great staff, lecturers and facilities. Met lots of great colleagues and friends while studying.
The University of Greenwich is a very creative place with enthusiastic people. Perfect for exploring your creativity.

I have really enjoyed my time at the university. Throughout my time I felt well taught, lead and nurtured. I would definitely recommend this university to all my acquaintances. Thank you Greenwich University!

I had my wonderful 3 years of undergrad there!
Wonderful campus, Wonderful staff with very enthusiastic lecturers. Couldn't ask for a better univerdity experience!
It was alright a lot of stress
Great place, lovely buildings and facilities and lovely lecturers. Recommend
A really nice and solid experience, totally enjoyed myself and had a fun time
Had an amazing experience, thank you Greenwich!
great University all around, campus holds a piece of history and it is always amazing to come to lectures. The support throughout my studies journey made a huge difference in achieving my graduation!
Nice uni really nice .......:::::
Did software engineering and had a lot of support the whole time, I did it part time which not many people do so I was a bit alone but they dealt with it well.
It was amazing I cannot believe I did it
Great time and place to study mathematics with all students and staff are so friendly
A really great university with plenty of opportunities to work in different ways and with mixed groups of people.
Very supportive for all. Very welcome and helpful

great experience having lots of fun
An amazing experience! Made life long friends!
amazing loved every second of it
Excellent, great time. Facilities are good, lectures are helpful
They have been quite slow when it comes to responding to emails at times. They have not handled the blended learning as well as they could have.
The uni has good facilities and did provide a good online learning environment during lockdown
It's, a, good uni but didn't got to enjoy much due to covid
Excellence teaching with qualified teachers. Immediate response for all queries.
A great university in an amazing location with a lot of opportunities to develop yourself personally and professionally!
Studying at the University of Greenwich has been a fantastic experience that has boosted my mind, as well as allowing me to enhance my personal knowledge.
One of best universities in the world
Actually in this padamic we didn’t enjoy college facilities
Very good atmosphere Faculty and the members of staff are so good and supportive
I have not had the chance to experience the campus life and physical classes due to the online system. But I really hope I’ll get to experience it soon.
University of greenwich is a fantastic place for study. I am very proud of my achievements during my time at university. The dedication and hard work that have been put into my learning, that allowed me to succeed in many ways as well as developed other essential skills that required in future, like, being able to communicate confidently, understanding others, presentation skills and many others. I would suggest everyone to join whether they are mature or overseas students. All the staff members are very friendly, helpful and willing to provide support to the students.
Very good facilities provided. Bring a student of the medway campus, I’ve access to the other campuses as well and I’m able to use all the facilities. Since the restrictions caused by Covid, I wasn’t fully able to get the most of the university facilities. Hoping my second term to be the best.
University of Greenwich provides a very healthy environment to the students as well as the facilities are well educated and support there students with good notes and good lectures.
Good supporting lectures and multicultural environment
Good uni! Very helpful and always is there to support when needed.
University of Greenwich is a life changing experience for me. You can't expect the university to provide each and every thing. If you have the willingness to make a positive impact for yourself and the society and walk some extra mile, the University would open its door in every possible ways.
I am glad to choose this university. Thank you.
I was here for my masters and the two years have been great. Since day 1 the university experience was very delightful. The campus is so big and the faculty offers amazing lectures throughout all the courses. The career services helped me get a placement which I'm very grateful for.
Best experience and best and qualified staff in the university....
The facilities provided by university is the latest with wifi connection in every building. The student union of Greenwich is always accessible and ready to help the students in every way possible. The faculty is helpful and provide guidance any time you want.
Enjoyable, well organised, caring teachers.
I personally like everything the small activities to, the student union the point of keeping the personal tutor. I can count on my fingers easily there are many it all depends upon on yourself how much active you're with the societies and the extracurricular activities all will help you and guide you and at the end, it's you who have to apply and be constant.
The University of Greenwich is a lovely place to study it is split into three campuses Medway, Greenwich, and Avery Hill Campus. Greenwich campus is the best in terms of facilities, clubs and society’s. Avery hill is second best and more of a accommodation place for students and a few classrooms and a really big sports hall so it is like a little village area. Their is free travel to both areas provided by the SU. The SU office is mainly at Greenwich campus but their is one located at each campus and a careers service centre. Free WiFi across all 3 campuses. Medway is a little isolated but overall very big and nice. However you are charged to travel back and forth from Medway campus so that can be expensive also it is very far. However life over their is quite fun especially if you live on campus.
A fantastic university that really cares for its staff and pupils. Throughout the pandemic, we have been supported socially, emotionally, financially and in our studies. Equally, the university values employability and supports you in gaining the skills and applying for jobs. You’re valued as a person starting a new career and they help make your dreams happen.
Great place to know different cultures.
Greenwich University has been absolutely fantastic for me. The course is excellent, and the lecturers are fantastic at assisting students. They take a personal interest in students' lives and well-being, as well as how to balance it with external challenges. The welfare team is incredible, and as a first-year student, the university does an excellent job of integrating students.
Great university, has good facilities and supports it’s student well. Only problem is that some lecturers have really strong accents which are near to impossible to understand. Other than that it’s a very good university, staff are nice, employability services are excellent. Highly recommend!
There are great facilities on campus, science labs, paramedic science labs, criminology labs, Engineering labs and new Food labs in Jelico. There are 3 food places at part of the University of Greenwich, my personal favourite is the cafe in Pembroke where you can get fresh pizza's made to order. However, the deep ends good for evenings as the karaoke society practices once a week, there's pool table, sports and films shown and they have events like silent disco too. There are also two cafes from the university of Kent and Canturbury which you can go in to, I like the smoothies from the Kent cafe. There is a veriety of clubs and society's, Student union are active and the careers service is there to help through pdp modules or individual appointments, the only thing that needs Improving is the Wifi.
I am currently completing my MBA in International Business with Greenwich and the support I received as an International student has been fantastic. Despite the challenges with COVID-19 restrictions, the overall experience has been really good. It is a beautiful city, gorgeous campus, diverse teaching staff !
Applying to this university was probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life! The idea of attending university itself was quite daunting to think about at the beginning. However, once I started my course here I felt so at ease. There was always help available such as the library staff and the academic support services, so I did not feel like I was alone when completing my assignments. I have had an enjoyable experience so far and have made so many memories as well as lifelong friends. If you are thinking about applying here, I would definitely say not to give it a second thought and go for it :)
I have had a brilliant few years at Greenwich, I am a bit sad to be graduating this year as I will miss it! All of the staff are really supportive and there are so many employability opportunities whilst studying, as well as when you are graduating. There are many different clubs and societies that you can get involved in, and there are also a lot of very well-paid student jobs available! I am confident that I made the right decision by studying here, I have had a really positive experience and would recommend this university.
The University of Greenwich is an amazing university and is really under appreciated! We have amazing facilities and lecturers. There is so much support available for students and I always kno who to contact if I am ever in need of help. My mental health has been so low at points and I've always had problems but was able to get help through the university which I am so grateful for. There are also lots of academic support workshops and appointments that help me with assignments. All lecturers are really helpful and very approachable! I particularly recommend all healthcare courses!
I’ve completed my undergrad in Business Management at UoG and loved every moment of it. This is a great uni where the main focus is student satisfaction. Teachers are really great and easy to reach, you can always rely on the employability team who can help with any sort of career related query. I was also part of the Student Ambassador team where I was able to gain so many experiences and meet amazing people, with great pay also! Would do my degree there all over again if I could.
The University of Greenwich stands out for me as it has allowed me to better integrate myself into the university experience as a student coming from abroad through a foundation year. The foundation year has given me the exclusive support required to further my self development and better prepare for the years to come. I had the chance to live in halls for the first 2 years, however I had to leave as during my second year as the pandemic had led the country to a lockdown and so I could no longer afford to live there as I had to leave the country to be with my family. I must say I appreciate how lenient the university halls were with allowing me to cancel my contract without penalising me for it. The content and quality of teaching along with the lecturers and staff support from day one were exceptional, even though the pandemic has made it tough on both staff and students to motivate, engagement is facilitated through one-to-ones and various resources for independent learning.
During the pandemic with new variants and increased risk to all of us and our families, the university is putting profit before compassion. I’m being told I can’t be released from my tenancy, despite others being allowed to leave early, because my mother needing a career at home as a high risk person isn’t a good enough reason. I’m extremely disappointed as the university is repeatedly sending out what are now empty condolences and messages to us, yet no action by university staff outside of the students union is reflecting this.
University of Greenwich is underrated university! To begin with - I completed work placement. University's employability services helped me to find a placement, prepared me for interviews and even checked my cv and cover letter. On the top of that they organise multiple seminars and workshops to improve your employability skills which is essential for such a competitive job market in London. I also participated in student exchanges - with University of Greenwich support we found a perfect fit for me in Spain where I was able to improve my Spanish language skills! Talking about university in general the support from academics is always outstanding. Prior to the covid thing we would meet on weekly basis with our personal tutor who is always here to help no matter is it personal or just something to do with your assignments. There are so many things I could say. But word limit doesn't allow me. If you are considering to apply do it! You will thank me latter
I’ve a good advice to all potential students. Please avoid Greenwich University. It’s a beautiful location and beautiful buildings. Nothing else. Inside it looks terrible. The level of teaching extremely low. Many lecturers do not speak a proper English. The biggest regret to join the university. No support from the stuff at all. Avoid!!!
The campus is beautiful, however if you want a good academic experience I personally would not recommend this university. Out of 8 of my lecturers, only two of them actually actively give their students constant support, the others just don't teach. My "personal tutor" who is meant to help us during our three years in university has never, NEVER replied to ANY OF MY EMAILS IN THE THREE YEARS. I thought I was the only one who she didn't reply to, turns out she doesn't reply to any of my coursemate's emails either. Absolute shambolic of an education system and they are so disorganised.
Overall I think the university isn't bad, the facilities are old and the university is doing the best they can with what they have. I love the library and all the available resources to use for coursework as well as personal development. I haven't interacted with Students Union much. There are quite a few interesting societies and clubs available but it's difficult to be a part of them if you don't live on campus. What I am completely disappointed with is the complete lack of support for students and their mental health. The services provided by university are very minimal and not helpful. Many lectures are very condescending and sometimes seem to not understand that students have other responsibilities, such as work. The faculty members on higher positions only seem to care about money and treat university as a business.
good uni for opportunity, our business campus is boujee and has featured in many films
The campus facilities are not that bad.
Are you seriously going to rate an university based on its campus and WiFi? It's a really bad university, yet it's getting ratings high for its campus and resources. Gotta admit they are not bad, but really? Aren't we going to rate an university based on the level of teaching? These 2 stars are not for the campus facilities, but for the teaching quality so keep that in mind.
Taking my course here was the worst decision of my life. Falsely advertised course, poor teaching, no solid teaching body through the entire 3 years, learnt more in 2 weeks work experience than 3 years here. Students Personally attacked on grading if negative commetns of the course were made or attendance is poor. Numerous students graded poorly after not being taught sufficiently. Overall just a business without student interest at heart.
The school facilities are okay.
Overall, Good.Nice new library,24 hrs drinkable water supply, your best friend during end of year. Environment is good, in fact awesome, specially during Autumn. Student Union..........no comment, building placed at weird spot where you normally wouldn't get close except live next to it. Career support is good, cv check, periodic career or internship event helps a lot. If you're a self motivate student and always appear in events, "merit" you obtained may form the "Employability passport",which give you some advantage. --------- There are good things doesn't mean perfect. first, it's small, specially if you're not counting the library. There isn't a timelord wearing like British to redecorate it. Further more not all teacher are good, several prefer put everything in powerpoint and just simply read out, causing lecture become pointless. last, if you're [Asian], they might force you to study with other Asian(CN) instead of local student.(Even you're from Japan or Korea)
I love it so much and I am sure that I will miss it when I finish my study!!!
Do no come to this university to study engineering. It's awful. The first comum year, is more basic than A-levels, lectures ain't helpful, some lectures don't even speak English properly.
Such wonderful facility and campus
I lived on Avery Hill Campus for my first year and it felt as if there was nothing to do socially, and because my course was located on Avery Hill campus I felt secluded from the actual university itself and was unable to socialise with others who were attending courses on the main campus. There was a bus into Greenwich (took about 30 mins) but once you got there there wasn't really a lot to do and the last bus was at 9pm therefore if you wanted to go to the students union there you wouldn't be able to spend long there.
The new library and the area is nice, that's about it. Student Union?.... what Student Union? In my 3 years at Greenwich, I only went there 2 times as there was nothing to do there. I really really regret coming here now, I really do :(
I am currently doing my PGCE (Secondary education) with Greenwich. This University was one my choices amongst others. And I am glad I chose this place. The whole secondary education staff have been very helpful. The help and support offered by this Uni. is second to none especially with such an intensive course. I have found the course very well structured and tutors very helpful and supportive. I would strongly recommend this Uni. to people who are considering to pursue PGCE in the future.
not much information on how to join societies, but the campus itself is pretty and the buildings are gorgeous
Underwhelming compared to the initial impression, it really depends on your course choice. Make sure you are prepared to gain most of your learning from the available facilities etc
The staff in the education department as so helpful!
AMazing uni, with great facility. Buildings are amazing
University of Greenwich has a beautiful campus that sits on a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Makes me feel like I'm studying in Hogwarts!
A lively and easily accessible inner city university with rich history and coupled with its high level of international students, allows for a deeply accepting society. University facilities more than meet the standards of the course and the contact hours are well spent. Lecturers are always willing to help, even out of hours.
Couldn't be more happy with my uni - The most beautiful campus, great and professional teaching staff, amazing course content.
Beautiful Greenwich Campus. Great location in London. Lots of good clubs and societies. Great location for work experience in London. Wifi in all campus buildings.
Perhaps a lack of dynamic Clubs and Societies
The Union bar is amazing, really colourful and cheap in terms of drink and food. There are clubs, however not so many that cater to my needs personally and all the good ones seem to be over on a different campus which is not very convenient. In terms of career opportunities the uni will help you but it's up to the individual to make their own opportunities arise both through academia and by networking.
a bit unorganised and not many clubs but a nice setting and relaxed atmosphere.
