its very nice to live here, It is very quiet here at night, there is very little noise of cars coming and going on the road, the caretaker here is very friendly, I think it is very safe here

The accommodation environment is not bad, and the dormitory manager is very friendly.
Mostly this is a lovely place to live. Supermarkets around convient to buy groceries.
Caring and amazing staff. Good environment. Nice rooms.
Very close to my campus. Great management team
All the member of staff are very friendly and kind
I had a very good time to stay at Halsmere Studio for few years. Very nice and kind receptions, good room, and convenient to me to get my college:)
The facilities in the room are very complete, including induction cooker, oven, microwave oven and refrigerator. The bathroom is also very good, with a separate shower. I love my bed very much. Although it is a studio, the size of the bed is double size. The surrounding area of the apartment is very quiet, surrounded by residential areas, sleeping at night will not be disturbed by vehicles. Living here is also very convenient, you can go to several supermarkets for shopping within walking distance.
The surrounding environment is very peaceful and pleasant, and the architectural style and greenery are well coordinated. very safe.
It is a very good experience to live here, nice private studio and nice and friendly receptionists. And there is a cute local park nearby.
I would say the stuff here are pretty nice and they be got patient to deal with any issue that you have. Especially when you are looking for your parcels, or having any problem of council tax.
To be honest, I have the very comfortable and convenient life during this period of time in the Halsmere Studios. The staffs are all friendly and responsible. I have several schoolmates who also live in this building.
Very English vintage building with quiet streets and parks
good enough, nothing to worry about except some noise
The experience of living here has been very good. It's very close to my school and there's a bus stop nearby so it's very easy to get around. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you with problems and are very responsive.
The location is quiet, the surrounding environment is very good, there is a park, the apartment staff communicates smoothly, and the service attitude is excellent
They are the most enthusiastic, responsible and helpful accommodation staff I have ever met! And this is a cosy place to stay.
It's a good location. Park right outside and quiet environment. Convenient surrounding life, supermarket within 3 minutes, very safe nearby. above all great student dormitory!
I have been living here for a year and i honestly love it. Amazing staff and great location.
Out of all of the student accommodations in london this has been the most decent when it comes to the rooms and facilities and staff as well. I loved it so much. all of the rooms have their own bathroom and kitchen, the common room has a pool table! there is a beautiful garden in the back and a bike shed. The managment team has been so friendly and they also do their best to help even during weekends if it was an emergency. The internet is superfast and I have never had an issue with it at all.
Now that the building is under new management the improvements are happening that were required. All the fire alarm issues have been rectified and it no longer goes off all the time. The new manager got it replaced as soon as she arrived which was great. The team in the office are really helpful and I really love the maintenance guy Bashir, the court yard and communal area are great. The rooms are nicely decorated with modern kitchen, the wifi is brilliant, never ever had a issue with it and I will miss the BBQs!!
The receptionist was changed multiple times throughout the year, which meant that our security was not assured as anyone could have walked in if they looked like a student. Few alleged breakins where the police was involved, management was apathetic and did not help. I found it hard to enjoy London nightlife as the walk back felt quite unsafe. I did not encounter anything bad, but I definitely did not want to go home alone. It's dark, and you'll have to turn into small streets which as a young female I really did not like. Maintenance issues inside the room were dealt with quickly as there was an in-site technician, The rooms were well-built, soundproof, equipped with very good wifi and kitchenware. If you are studying near Camberwell, find a flat near Denmark Hill, or within the precinct of of your campus. Within King's College Hospital area, there are flatshares available with a much more reasonable price, more well-connected and much safer to walk through.
Absolutely the worst experience I have had concerning a living situation. The managers couldn’t care less about the needs of the students, they NEVER do anything to try to help when you are in need and on top of that every time a tenant tries to seek out for help they treat you very rudely and basically tell you it’s not their problem and to solve it on your own. Security as well is very poor since most of the time there is no one responsible on site to take care of things, not a guard nor a receptionist. I definitely do not recommend this accommodation, the area is not nice, the building is unsafe and the managers are rude.
The bad: WiFi? Say hello to buffering! Despite the internet puporting to be 60 mbps it’s often much slower than this. I couldn’t even watch BBC iPlayer without it buffering several times in a 30 minute show. Ask4 provide the internet, their support is terrible! Washing services? Circuit laundry - if you know already, you KNOW. They are awful. The service is expensive and below par, I’d often spend £6+ to fully wash and dry a single load of clothes only, which over time adds up to quite an expense especially if you include bedding and other things! Also, unsurprisingly, their support is also terrible. They seem to have a monopoly on washing services for student properties (cough, cough CMA!). The room itself? I have a classic studio, which costs £279 per week and the room is small and cheap, the TV is rubbish, although a decent size. The paint on the walls is cheap and unsuitable, it stains very easily, and appropriately you can be charged for damaging a wall. Good? Location, manager.
