The security team is diligent and the safety within the accommodation area is guaranteed. The reception has quick respnoses to repairs and inquiries which is fairly helpful. Various social activities including films, running, and guitar-playing. Spacious room and really generous storage space, suitable for international students. Overall, good living experience, Rent is arising so maybe in the future the hardware infrastructure and garden management can be better.

Manna Ash House has strong advantages: its location is very central, close to transportation, the river, and lots of restaurants / markets / supermarkets (the cut, lower marsh, borough), it is situated on a quiet street, the rooms are ensuite, spacious, with lots of storage, the kitchens are also big so the disposition of belongings between flatmates is easy, you also have access to a locker, the building is very secured as all doors require the key/keycard that only residents hold, the staff is always here to help and answer to enquiries, and some weekly activities for residents are organised. However, there were some unpleasant things that happened: there was a hot water problem twice during the winter, there was a bug problem (fruit flies) during three months (january to march) typically in the kitchen but there were so many of them that they got into the rooms (that happened on the first floor). Overall it was a good experience, would do it again, and would recommend.

Good location, value for money

Overall it was fine, I ran into very friendly roommates. The community of the flat was okay, although the surrounding area has a high crime rate. The amenities were also good. The oven, fridge, etc., were easy to use. The downside was that the lift broke down a few times. Although I haven't run into it, I would worry about that. The alarm also kept going off for no apparent reason, which was annoying. Overall, I would recommend this place, it's relatively affordable and close to the tube station, so travelling would be easier.
Thank you for your comment. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us and glad you have managed to make use of all the amenities found at site. As there are a lot of students who stay on site, sometimes they do cause the alarm to trigger due to cooking and not being conscious of using the equipment and opening windows to prevent the alarm from going off. We always raise awareness of opening windows and turning on cooking extraction units to prevent any smoke build up, and routinely complete our fire drills.
Generally speaking, it is OK, but there are still many problems. A good place is a large kitchen with plenty of storage and a regular trash can service. But spotlights in the room make it less light, and the bathroom is small, with no storage space. There are only two small supermarkets nearby, and it is not convenient to purchase daily necessities. There is a lot of noise from the kindergarten and renovations nearby, and the elevators are old and sometimes there are residents trapped in them. When I just moved in, there were too frequent home inspection and maintenance, and these do not need to pass the consent of the residents, maintenance personnel can directly open the door to enter, a little worried. There are some warm-hearted dormitory staff, there are also many festival activities, and hopefully it will get better and better.

Sorry to hear you are having noise issues with the development across the road, we are in continuous contact with the site manager to monitor any excess noise. The works are only limited to the week days. We have quarterly room inspections to ensure residents are happy with the rooms as well as to monitor the condition of the site and raise any repairs that may be required. We ensure all residents are notified in advance of the inspections. All access to rooms are requested from residents with a minimum of 24 hours. If a repair from a resident is requested the caretaker will attend as soon as possible.

The accommodation is in lovely for someone who is very independent . The staff are lovely but t they could have better resolution skill for conflict because while I was there someone made it harder for me , which I informed the staff but nothing was done about it. I just stick with the behaviour cos I had a copy of more days to go. Other than that it was lovely.

The location is very close to the central London It's super good. But the room is small, not that worth so much.

It is a good location for students to live with a large range of amenities and close to key facilities. The common space is also nice to relax. But there are often decoration works nearby, and the sound is noisy which disturbs my rest.

Overall good, smaller apartment with more efficient management. But plumbing repair annoys me very much, there will be noise from repairing pipes in the room, and there will be a week when I can't use the toilet during the day

I live in manna ash house and I think the location is great, very close to the city center and within walking distance to KCL. The apartment is also very safe. Apart from the small public area, everything else is fine. In addition, it would be even better if the kitchen can be cleaned once a week.

Manna Ash gets the job done. very good for students who go to KCL, South Bank or UAL.. Only problem I noticed is the constant maintenance in the flat hallways which wasn't a huge deal for me

This place just doesn't care about the students, construction works next to your dormitory from 8 am at exam time or any time of the year without any notice. There are facilities that don't work and the area is very unsafe as students get robbed all the time and no one does anything about it. Very expensive and not worth what you pay, don't go there.

We have had some repairs that were required due to some plumbing issues, and these have now been repaired. The site is only accessable through a gated entrance, all residents will need a key and fob to gain entry as well as to their flats and rooms. We also have security on site to cover the desk out of hours should residents have any issues. We apologise if any planned works has impacted your stay with us, and we hope to welcome you in the future.
They have given us all private WiFi hubs in each of our rooms due to the slight disturbance of the WiFi from building work going on across the street. The attentiveness and care of the university by doing things such as this, shows how enjoyable the experience is.
