Living at great court is quite nice. They have lots of good facilities that are very resourceful and reliable, my favourite being the gym downstairs and being able to rent out bikes for transport. (Saves lots of money). All staff are very friendly and welcoming, I felt at home pretty quickly

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Nice accommodation in London———-
Living at great court is quite nice. They have lots of good facilities that are very resourceful and reliable, my favourite being the gym downstairs and being able to rent out bikes for transport. (Saves lots of money). All staff are very friendly and welcoming, I felt at home pretty quickly
I’ve been here now for over a year and the receptionists and security guards are the main part of the accommodation they are not only helpful but friendly too.
This is a really nice property especially for students. It has all the required amenities. Karene helped a lot with everything even over the mail it was a very smooth process moving in here!
Great management, Karene is extremely helpful and kind!
Place is modern and good quality, staff are friendly too. No faults apart from I wish the flats had hoovers haha.
The services rendered is no match to the monthly rent. Paying £1,000 for a small room yet u can provide tv in the room. Mop and vacuum cleaner are constantly unavailable due to no mop and only 2 vacuum cleaner for a building of that size.
Overall Great Court's best feature is the location for me. It might not be the safest area to live in, as cycle thefts have happen before, but it's close to everything. Good shopping spots around with 3 different big supermarkets within a walking distance. Easy access to central London by taking the 453 bus. I'd say the biggest downside is the bathroom for me. It's a literal cubicle and it has no storage space. It should at least have a cabinet or a shelf but all you've got is a tiny sink and the floor. The shower's water pressure should be stronger. The 10/8 flat rooms are tiny but they have reasonable storage. I'd definitely recommend getting an Ikea shelf and closet organizers though. The kitchen storage is insufficient and the appliances are not the best. There is not enough fridge space (8 shelves for 10 people). The laundry prices are too high and the machines are always busy. The building has too many doors and it's annoying to get through. The management is okay and helpful.
Rooms are nice and new with big windows n a clean bathroom. Social spaces are nice but generally not very clean. Laundry facilities are always unhygienically dirty and expensive, with not enough to supply the whole building. Problems in flats can take weeks, sometimes months to resolve. There have been multiple issues with heating and hot water. The study room is really spacious and light but has no heating, so too cold to use for the majority of academic year. The sink in the kitchen is tiny. To get to the bin store you have to walk through 4 sets of heavy doors which is just impractical. Parcels often just get left by reception for anyone to take because there aren't enough parcel lockers. Parcels have been stolen and building managers can't be asked to check to CCTV to investigate. There's only one hoover for the whole building. In the end, there are too many inconveniences for it to be worth the money.
