In my last year of uni, have enjoyed my time due to my tutors, lectures, and classmates, however, the uni can improve in its communication since you have to reach out to any department at least 5 times before getting a response. The clubs are decent, and the student union is as well. Career services are nice but haven't been able to provide me with much help to obtain a job. The internet is constantly bugging and lags while in class.
Great university! I go to a school affiliated with this Uni but I really enjoy the course I’m on. I’m in my 3rd year now and UWL communicates so well if you need any support. L
Best University based on the education and the support they provide to international students.
Great institution, lots of opportunities, brilliant teachers that care and amazing facilities.

People are really helpful and friendly, they seem to provide a lot of groups and communities that you can join and be apart of. They have services ro help you financially, emotionally and academically.
Not that great, especially if youre put in the brentford campus as there isnt much going on though lessons wise it is my favourite out of the two but hard to make new friends lack of clubs, community etc. more support needed for students that struggle
i love this uni, i think my course is the only one that actually works because everyone else thats not in my course complains about it so im happy but sucks to be them ig
I have very bad experience with two universities in UK , but finally I am studying for my MSc Finance degree in UWL.. Honestly It is a very good university all lecturers , staff, student union very mcuh responsible and they value the students. I really enjoy my course in UWL with guidance of academic staff and support from non academic staff. I should mention career advice team is amazing. They will guide you right way and I recommend UWL for all students who really genuinely want to study in UK
Good uni with lots of interesting clubs and nice amenities on the campus
i like it because of the welbeing team
It’s a nice university with a lot of facilities.
Good experience overall the col
UWL is a good uni, but I spend most of my time at DSL, which also has good teachers like Dewi.
As part of Creative Academy, separate from UWL, you benefit from a smaller campus space with plenty of dance specific equipment.
The university overall is good.
My college is Met Film School, Leeds campus which is accredited to UWL. Even if it’s the first year, I really like my campus and school. The tutors are really helpful and I’m learning a lot :)
Great support and good one to one time with lecturers.
West London is a great university, lectures are great and the facilities are good.
It is a good place to do your degree. Make sure to utilize everything they have to offer to get the most out of it.
great facilities, good interesting lectures often with student participation
In general I am quite satisfied.
University of west london has alot to offer. Main bad thing is the accommodations team
Amazing university for satisfaction and educational standards
The building is great and the rooms are spacious
Great uni! I study music and it’s really accommodating
Campus was very poor, many students were evacuated from campus in the begining of the academic year, because of flammable materials in the building.
Reception not change still unproductive waste if time and money service .
Staff are generally friendly, wifi available on campus and works well for me. Lack of communal space which can make lunch or study breaks difficult. Small class sizes on my course are helping me with my studies
Poor student support especially for international students.Totally disorganised and chaotic.
ITS BEST UNIVERSITY ONE CAN ASK FOR.
The university's facilities are the best.
Lecturures and the SU go above and beyond to ensure your experience at the uni is good.Just a shame about some of the other staff.Do not bother to call up finance or ask any enquirees with them as you will probably get your head bitten of with some of the staffs rudeness (if you don’t want to work there then just leave lol?)I found that I had to sort most of my problems out myself because the staff didn’t seem to have a clue about their job role or anything at all for a matter of fact and some staff even accusing you of lying !Having this situation happen just before starting this university it made me think how is the teaching and other facilities going to be like if this is even before I started .But when the lectures started I found out that the lecturers are great, the university in itself is ideally placed and is very clean and modern.
The facilities are great... when you finally gain access to them.
While I was studying Events Management, I noticed lots of new plasma TVs showing the same uni advertisement and heard that a couple of departments were letting lecturers go and employing cheaper staff. The classes were so large that I didn't feel a connection with the teachers and generally didn't enjoy going to lectures. I felt lectures were filled by unqualified staff ( admitting that they're not very good at the topic but are teaching it anyway), and some of my classes were filled with pointless group exercises. Most of what we were learning wasn't useful for the essays we were writing so it made me feel like 'what am i actually doing here?'.
Amazing staff, amazing support, amazing teaching. You actually learn career focussed skills. One of the best residence in the UK. Really nice area, free uni bus, modern facilities, great nights.
The Music Technology Specialist course didn't make me a specialist in any way. I didn't learn anything more that I didn't already know from my previous course (music technology in college). I don't see any perspective for getting the job in my specialist field although the UWL advertises itself as "The Career University". The studios are great but availability is very limited.
Reading campus has no societies of activitys & is located in an office building. I feel like we miss out on the Uni experience because of it
Even though the university of west London is a rather small university, the facilities it offers are fantastic! the halls of residence are pretty good as you get an ensuite bathroom and a great view of London. The university also provides a free uni bus, which means that you are able to travel between the Brentford and Ealing campus for free! along with stops at a couple of tube stations which is rather handy. The uni bus also has free wifi onboard, which is helpful as it helps to save the amount on internet you use on your phone! The University of West London is also known as a 'career's university' thus meaning that they provide plenty of opportunities for students to gain jobs, during and after university as they hold graduate and job opportunity fairs. There are also many societies that the university offers, meaning that there is a society for everyone! As a current 2nd year about to go into my 3rd year I can fully well say that i've had a great time at West London University
I'm a current student of UWL and it's a really good university in my opinion. It's like a family rather than a building that people go to. But like family, you have to meet them first which is why during my first year, I felt isolated. But my second year was amazing because I met people from the SU, began working for the uni and socialized a lot more.
This university is the best!!!!
