Ratings and Reviews
UCL's reputation is founded on its research-driven approach, so if you're someone who loves critical thinking and pushing boundaries, this is the place. It attracts some of the best academics and students globally, so you're constantly surrounded by incredibly bright, diverse minds. UCL’s location in central London is another huge perk. Being in the heart of one of the world's most vibrant cities means you have access to amazing cultural, professional, and social opportunities right on your doorstep. The campus has an energy to it, bustling with students from all over the world, which can help you feel at home. On the downside, the size and pace of UCL can feel overwhelming at times, especially since it’s a large institution with a significant student body. The support systems are in place, but you need to be proactive in seeking help when needed. Also, as with many London universities, the cost of living can be steep, and the competition for accommodation can be fierce.

Certain apps meant to have all the information you need like schedule and library books do not work and there's bad signal in my flat but overall does everything in a manageable way
ION is great place to study and learn The courses and the lecturers are top class
I am at UCL studying MA Film Studies and have had a great experience so far. My only slight gripe is that some buildings are very far apart so walking between them for classes 10 minutes apart is a bit stressful, but facilities are all good and it’s great being at a city in central London.
UCL is an amazing places to be at, with a vibrant student life where there’s something for everyone!
Some find the Wifi worse! Sometimes randomly unreliable, especially Eduroam.
Being in my first year of UCL Pharmacy has been exciting and a bit overwhelming at times. The lectures are packed with information, but the professors make it interesting by showing us how what we’re learning will matter in real-world pharmacy practice. Even though I haven’t had any placements or exams yet, I can tell that the course is really preparing us for the challenges ahead. It’s a lot of hard work, but the community and support from both staff and other students make it easier to manage. I’m looking forward to what’s next!
The whole edu wifi broke last week but it's still good. It's also week in the kitchen of my dormitory.
Overall, it's very good, but the classrooms are too scattered, and it's difficult to find a classroom. The network of some teaching buildings is not good, and the check-in system is not very easy to use. The classroom is very sultry, and the fresh air system or air conditioner is not turned on.
very good uni nothing to complain abou. wish it was less crowded
Great university in the heart of central London
