A great uni overall, could do with more events to build a student community but a nice environment overall
Happy with my university experience so far. The infrastructure is great which creates a welcoming environment for everyone to participate and study. Alot of opportunities to grow apart from your coursework. You just gotta be proactive.
High expectations before coming here. But just feel like a normal university, nothing special.
Good. Top university in the UK
The experience is great with tons of opportunities to meet people and the property management is exceptional
Very good. The uni is great and i’m having a good experience.
I have had a great experience living at KINCARDINE COURT (KC)! They organize plenty of fun activities, which make it easy to meet new people and feel part of the community. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond to help. The cleanliness of the building is also excellent; everything is well-maintained and spotless. I also appreciate the free drinks they provide, which is such a thoughtful touch. A special shoutout to the reception staff—they are especially nice and always make you feel welcome. Overall, KC is a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it!
It’s a really lovely place, and the staff are very kind, especially Kim, who helped me with information and the move. I couldn’t be happier living in a place that meets all my expectations.

Great place and good experiences
Good uni, there’s lots of student support if you need it and people are easy and quick to contact
It is indeed one of the best universities, both in terms of teaching resources and environment are very comfortable
I haven't really enjoyed my time at university. Nobody else ever came to class so I never made any friends. The workload was impossible to cope with and many of the lecturers were arrogant and unhelpful.
from day one my university experience has been really rewarding, from the support to the friends to the accommodation i’ve really enjoyed it. mostly the accommodation lol! get unsworth if u can!!! better than my home bedroom

I love the university of manchester, great uni for international students.
The University has a comprehensive student service system. Convenient transport links and easy living in the neighbourhood
It was an amazing experience to join here as a student as there is ample exposure and opportunities for one to learn n grow.
Good experience for all my friends
Great property with lots of facilities
Great university with all amenities
having a great uni life so far, would recommend to anyone
Professors are too busy so won't help you with your projects, other than that the facilities and courses are awesome.
Very good student life and very good facilities
Good, I think everything is good for student and very comfortable and convenient
I joined UOM specifically for the student life rather than the teaching quality, although the teaching is also very good. There is SO much to do outside of teaching hours that I struggled a bit to concentrate on my actual course! I would absolutely recommend this uni for anyone who's looking for diverse experiences and opportunities.
Good environment in ambs lots of friendly professor and tutor to help
Amaizng expereince staying in parkway gate. The satffs are very dry helpfull
Great! 👍 love living here!!!!!
I love the school, very nice people and nice clubs that I can join. Love the community and the learning method.
This university is fantastic with a diverse student body and a supportive body of staff!
Just wish the university would take more decisive stances on issues, responding to student voice better.
Nice university, clean study spaces.
The university is really nice, all the buildings are representative of what your future will look like e.g the business building looks like offices. The people are nice, the lectures are great and everything is easy to follow.
The University of Manchester has a vibrant academic environment, empathising on research and industry experience through internships and placement. It’s wide range of courses, ensures there is a course for everyone. The student union offers many societies and events, while the lively city of Manchester, provides a homely atmosphere. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for students wanting academic and personal growth.
The university offers incredibly convenient facilities, with plenty of spaces for studying, including libraries and study rooms. The student union regularly organizes various events, and there are over 100 student clubs to join, making both academic and social experiences enjoyable.
Overall great experience at UoM
I absolutely love it here. The faculty, staff, teachers and facilities are unlike any other. Yes the internet is annoying but everything else makes up for it. The best part is, if you are an international student the university makes sure you don’t feel homesick. There’s so much going on and they take such good care of all it’s students it feels like you gained another mother. Especially if you have disability the university will take care of all your needs.
I think overall it offers the best it can and at times it seems like it’s a bit disconnected from its students
Great facilities and campus. Some variety of societies but there could be more, Student Union is good.
It didn't feel like the club activities were very well developed and the wifi required multiple reconnections.
Very welcoming, so much to do! Best professors and lecturers. Email communication is great.
I’m studying Adult Nursing at the University of Manchester and I am absolutely delighted with my uni experience. The campus is in the heart of Manchester and there is a lot of great opportunities for students, activities for leisure, sports, food, entertainment and more. There’s a big sense of community and belonging I have found in UoM and would absolutely recommend anyone to apply!!!
They always have some sort of event going on and send active emails for students looking for jobs whilst studying.
Great experience and nice environment
Great teaching and social experiences
I liked uni. I didn't make a lot of friends but overall I had a good experience the first year. Here's to a better second year!
An amazing University. Great city, multicultural and perfect for students. Nothing to complain about.
very good experience staying here
Really good! I enjoyed my university experience
it is great i am doing master's next year
Vert useful. Very nice. Good university.
Overall nice experience, the people are greate and the units are well structured
Good experience in here, love to stay here for next year
There are some services provided across campus, eg career advice, but you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get to it as drop-ins are highly limited.
Quite fulfilling experience overall
The university of Manchester is one of a kind! As a sociology student, I feel at home and that there is so much to learn here. Learning here at Manchester doesn’t end in the lecture halls, it extends into the social world as well and I love it!
You will always find people that you connect with! The study spaces are great, especially Ali g considering its open 24/7.
It could be better in terms of social well-being. Which is missing between international and domestic students.
Information on certain aspects like careers is more complicated then it needs to be.
Good university, can feel a bit lonely at times
Uni is amazing! Good union prices and reliable wifi
Study spaces have to be renovated
The WiFi is probably the worst part about UoM.
Best uni for societies and for studying
great uni, the societies are great and the location is great
