There is so much to do on the campus and the university provides so many opportunities
It’s a great university I love it hear. It was the best decision I made.
Great experience so far and a perfect environment for excellent learning
Decent university, some members of staff are great whilst others not so much, however there is lots of support provided
student union is the best and so active in trying to gain students input and take part and the facilities on campus are so great and have everything you need as a student!
It is a pretty good campus, with nice social life
The Campus is beautiful, and facilities are accessible. I would like some more benches in key viewing areas but apart from that it is lovely. The union puts on plenty of events throughout the year and trys hard to engage with the students but with representation more leaning to international and coloured leaving other areas uncovered. Societies are interesting and allow for exploration, however at times they seem inaccessible due to timetabling and demand. The Careers service is very good and engaging, 3weeks in and I have already got a plan to better my CV for my chosen career path.
Its a decent uni not the best out there but not the worst either.
There is a large variety of events on campus as well as a lot of services to improve and support students in their academic and personal needs. It is very social and lovely.
The uni offers a large range of food hotspots, lounges for student and lots of great learning areas . Everyone can find their space ! Great location in a beautiful city
So far so good, no real complaints.
Pretty standard for a university, I personally would not recommend to most people.
The career service are very helpful
everything about my experience of the university so far has been great, from social events and personal improvement oppurtunities to the campus itself. there is always something going on and everyone is welcome.
The student union were really good at helping freshers to settle in and ran many events. The careers service here always posts about jobs and career opportunities as well as offering an employability festival and other festivals. Furthermore, they can also help review CV’s and applications. The campus is very clean and has lots of different facilities to help both academically and socially. There are a huge range of societies here for all different things and they encourage new ones to come up. The wifi here is good however, it does cut out sometimes so that can be a bit annoying.
There is so much support on offer at this university and if coming to university is an anxious time for you, I can assure you that there is so much on offer here to help.
The campus is really beautiful green campus and the supportive community are very helpful and friendly.
My experience so far has been great.
Good uni, decent facilities and very good 3rd year lecturers.
Good transport from campus to city centre. It’s convenient and they even have their own night club venue on campus which is great.

Love the university, wish the on-campus accommodation was much more spacious.
I have stayed at Currus Court for two years now and have enjoyed every moment of it- with 24/7 security, helpful staff and such a convenient location. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the City Centre, right next to Canterbury East station and on the bus route to uni with buses every 10 minutes and taking a swift 12 minutes to get to UKC campus. When I return from my Year Abroad, I will surely be returning to my Canterbury home, Currus.
loved the campus, had a great time :)
Great service by Alix as always
Alright, alright, alright, alright
Not that great, lack of support but campus library is spacious, lots of food options too
Since I’ve been here I’ve had a lovely experience
Good place to srufy woukd recommend
The university has a lot of resources, however there is little to no social life (other than clubbing) or activities to do in between classes/studying. Restaurants need more variety on their menu and the service on campus is terrible
Great time at the university, great course and facilities. The campus is beautiful and it offers a lot of fun ways to spend feee time.
I really enjoy my time at Kent because of the societies and I love my modules
University of Kent is an amazing uni, they are so understanding, loving and supportive.
Good service, appreciate the help and guidance to the resources available to help us students enjoy and receive the correct help with what we want to achieve
Kent university is great but is unfortunately phasing out almost all the humanities including my master... Diversity will be missing!!
Pier quays is the best accomodation ever, the best price I’ve seen and the rooms are amazing. However, the best part is the staff, special thanks to Alex, Sam, Jim, Harleen, Keira and Ursula. The best part of pier quays with their amazing support and friendliness, without the staff pier quays wouldn’t be the same!!
University of Kent in UK stands for academic excellence, fostering vibrant community and where innovation meets creativity.
Great campus! Staff are super friendly, hardworking, and helpful Shoutout to the ladies at the donut stand for making the event very enjoyable i.e. Harleen, Kiera, etc, and a special mention to Nick as well.
Stunning , love it , lovely stuff
I don’t know what happened to the wifi this year but it’s been horrible, most of the time I have to use my data. I’ve always wanted to join a sport society but they’re too expensive for me to play competitively. My course ultimately is quite good with showing us opportunities to do with our degree post graduation
good price and friendly staff,i like here
Wish we could have more career opportunities
Loving it and recommend to all students
The campus is very pretty and very easy to get to from my accommodation
tom was great with the plumbing things he did excellent work
I really enjoyed my stay at Novel riverside, the building was very nice and staff really friendly, it was located in a good position for shopping and getting to campus, however since leaving in June 23 I have emailed and phoned on numerous occasions to get my deposit back and have received not one email or phone call back, this is really beginning to cause me stress as I need the money to help pay for rent on my new accommodation.
US sized campus, really cool students, high location with many courses, not the best travel services
Beautiful campus with a lot of facilities.
Loads of event, very big campus but the reception and wifi is not too good
I ‘like’ the Univeristy of Kent, but I would say that stems from the content of my course and the friends that I have made. I think that the univeristy lacks, and I have noticed this when I have visited my friends at their universities. Coming from a big city, I think that Canterbury and the Univeristy of Kent feels rather small and boring to me compared to what I’m used to. However, Kent has a great library, a good enough student club with good themes. Another major problem is the lack of shops, coffee shops and other stores on campus (there are just two co-ops which are too overpriced for students)
It's a good university and the communities are nice, but there aren't a lot of restaurants and things to do on campus
The university has a vibrant and diverse community of students and staff from all over the world, which makes for a rich and stimulating learning environment. The facilities on campus are modern and well-maintained, including state-of-the-art classrooms, libraries, sports facilities, and student accommodation. The campus is also located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the historic city of Canterbury.
Has been a great place to study law from abroad.
Enjoying my course very much. Pretty good uni and facilities.
I love my course. Always opportunities for me. Uni is great
One of the best unis out there
Good uni, feel like I fit in. Lots of different clubs going on.
It’s fine and suitable. It’s fine and suitable. It’s fine and suitable. It’s fine and suitable. It’s fine and suitable. It’s fine and suitable.
Lovely place ! Just get ready to climb a hill !
great facilities and the societies are great fun
A positive university experience, lots to do, amazing facilities and great social activities provided.
Second year, it’s great. Love my course
Great campus with good support team.
Amazing and supportive staff!!
The university already knows how I feel about them
A good university that offers lots of support, especially for international students
Good experience and met some nice professors
Good facilities and teaching however
I haven’t yet been to all parts of the campus but so far nothing to complain about. I love the campus and all the different buildings, student union is very active and supportive There are so many different societies and events you can go to. There’s a lot of opportunities to socialise and meet people as well as study
I enjoy my course and the staff here, a really vibrant community.
A friendly small university. A lot of opportunities to socialise and make friends including societies, teams and the union. The campus has a good set of bars and restaurants, and two co-ops on campus. The Templeman library is a large library with plenty of space to work in. These spaces are split between silent studies and more social group-work spaces.
Decent uni with a good vibe to it. Would recommend the kent business school
Never had any issues with any of the above, the campus is big and welcoming and there seems to be a society for absolutely everything. The student union have done a lot this year in regards to the cost of living crisis, allowing extended opening times for the campus food bank. The careers service are amazing, I receive a weekly newsletter on jobs in the area as well as graduate schemes to apply for.
Outstanding campus, amazing library, great facilities.
Student union never replied my email when I need their help Same as my friend she was crying in front of the student union office then manager cMe out to see her otherwise they won’t reply you at all
Great for my course. As a masters student I felt very alone outside my course.
staff are always ready to help out especially through tough times like covid & marking and assessment strikes and boycotts
A very nice location for a university however it can be a trek to go the the nearest supermarkets which are in town
The teaching at Kent is excellent. Combining this with the wide range of societies and things to do on campus, my experience here has been great.
Could have better organisation structure
Great place with very nice staff. Very nice location
It’s a great and diverse university with a big campus and plenty of societies.
good area of study, a range of different societies and a nice area to relax.
It has been an amazing first year in the uni of kent there are so many clubs and societies to join fpr everyone. However, if you are not a type of person enjoys clubbing, you may be lonely. The teachers and seminar leaders are very helpful and push you to learn. Social areas are amazing and the gym is free for first years!!
Amazing experiences and Kent Dance is an outstanding society where everything is involved
My experience at the University has been enjoyable. I'm quite reserved but enjoy walks through the grounds and the library as it is full of study corners and booths. There are several societies for people and the nights out are quite fun.
Good university. With good lecturers.
DO NOT GO to this uni. I am a 3rd year student and they have decided on a marking boycott- essentially they are refusing to mark our work until they get their concerns met but higher members of staff. So our degrees might be useless- they don’t care about their students!
The uni is good and placed in a good area
Great university and it has much needed support. All a good variety of societies
Good in overall, but library is always full...
an excellent university with passionate teachers. A very good eramus program and a multitude of associative events and clubs allow you to socialize
Pretty average. Diverse range of students
Very nice and big campus. Templeman Library has lot of space and also a café. The university is well maintained
University is located in a less crowded city( easy to commute to and from ). Module convenors are quite accommodating and helpful. Amazing university.
Really nice uni and great facilities
A very critical university who take pride in developing the students.
Very diverse university and big campus. presser is not a native speaker that makes it hard to understand.
Overall amazing experience, quite helpful just shame about no parking as if you don’t have a permit you have to pay
Everything is great! I am grateful that i choose Kent Uni
