I’ve had the best uni experience at ARU, the staff and students are so great and there’s always activities to do outside of uni work!
Lovely university , lovely area
Very close to the universities and close to social gatherings
Good university with a lot of societies on offer.
Thoroughly awful. Completely unwelcoming and awfully organised
Course was good and uni was ok
Great uni, super safe campus and location
Overall I really enjoyed my time at ARU. I've made friendships that will last a lifetime and was made to grow up quickly. The only criticism I have of ARU is regards the administration side, needs to be improved.
A decent university in a beautiful city. ARU has tbe facilities you need to get through your degree. Library is small but there are so many online resources on the Aru library website.
I enjoy my course and have had a good experience
Great campus, and a really good learning environment
I really love my university I think they have a rande if institutions which are helpful andhave a lot of supportive systems fornstudent s
Enjoyable experience with good teachers
Well I have been liking it so far
Nothing, satisfied with everything
So far, the university has been great, however the PPD point system is quite stressful, especially in the first year.
Enjoy uni eiriemce clubs are limited and no rugby club very disappointing, Gy! Is overpriced and poor.
Good experience with this course being very informative
Great experience! Had the best time!
The lecturers are pretty friendly and so far so good
There are usually problems with the Internet connection in certain classrooms, and this makes teaching extremely difficult.
Everything at ARU is good except the wifi
Not the sports clubs I want to join (rugby in particular)
Good environment. And people really nice.
The facilities are good for what I need especially the library space and books. The lecturers on my course have all been enthusiastic about the subject and helpful. Even though its a smaller uni I have enjoyed my time here and would recommend.
Good Academic and good student supporta
Anglia Ruskin is a nice and friendly uni with great placement services
OK uni really enjoy the atmosphere
The university is amazing with a lot of social spaces, facilities, advise services, 24 hours telephone and the teachers get really involve.
They have a lot of facilities for international students
Good WiFi across uni the facilities are good but the module structure not good and seminars not helpful
good uni but maybe cancel lessons a bit less
Just started studying here but I love it till now
I love my university and I am saddened that I have to leave
I am happy with the university opportunities and facilities
Good uni in a student friendly city
I love the facilities at ARU such as open access areas and the library. I enjoy my course and have made many friends in my 3 years

I do enjoy this uni, it too me a while to settle down but when I did I made some amazing friends
Good university with many different courses
University lacks the funding needed to provide good pastoral And educational needs.
ARU is great for my prospects as a future artist. I learned everything about 3D art from the ground up.
Nice location good uni and really helpful lectures
Its good,I enjoy myselfnat uni
Good campus and location, some rooms aren't great but overall has been a positive experience
Uni isn't too bad, railyard to uni by riding bike takes around 8-9minutes ish
Very friendly staff and campus provides excellent facilities
Really good experience. Staff are always ready to go the extra mile.
Try to explain more thing about the uni on enrolment
Great university with everything
It has helped me with everything
Not great but has everything you need
Internet is not very good. There are a lot facilities
Sport needs to be bigger for more of a social side
Everything is very close to The Railyard
It’s been my first year at ARU, so far hasn’t been a bad experience and I personally can’t knock anything just yet.
Staff does not help enough when we need help
The facilities at the university are a great help to the students
WiFi can sometimes cut out but only occasionally. I haven't got much knowledge on the careers services or the student union
The wifi and cell connection is terrible I can never Mae a call for more than a minute
Excellent help from everyone, but moving my course to different campus is ruined everything.
Great uni with a variety of courses
Student union is always crowded and noisy, which makes it hard to talk even to each other
Friendly university where such a diverse group of individuals interact with one another, around a beautiful city with great academic links. Teaching is good but I would say value for money is lacking, there seems to be a lot of self-taught elements and limited resources. Safe place to go to university with excellent location!
Good location and a good course with fun and entertaining lecturers making lectures interesting
Uni is good course is going well
Wish there was a students union bar but the uni is great and staff are friendly. Love the library and young street building.
Often find thereisnt a club or society that I am looking for. E.g if would be great if there was a society or club to learn Spanish. Or to have a buddy come with you for first time if someone is nervous
There's an amazing community set up here both by students and staff. You feel welcomed and supported from the first moment. Every day here is a worthwhile experience. So far, I can say that I LOVE ARU!!!
ARU is improving now but it still has along way to go before I would recommend it to anyone
Great uni, great people, plenty to do
Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge campus) has a lot of resources for anything you might need during your course. They offer exceptional services and the staff is very friendly.
great clubs and societies which can help you meet new people. Great support too.
Generally good but could do with more shops
It was my first choice for uni and it definitely lived up to that!!
Best university I have ever attended with everyone being friendly and welcoming and the labs are awesome. ARU is the place to be
everything is fine, nothing negative to say
Very nice place to study and have made amazing friends
Nice facilities e.g. social places, canteen serves reasonable food
It's been a good experience made great friends
Its up and coming. I study economics and I love the course. It's obviously not the University of Cambridge but it is a great uni.
I love the university facilities and teaching staff. Maybe some works need to be done regarding toilet facilities on the first floor.
Very good universit, friendly staff and teachers are good.
It was OK. Could have been better
The university buildings are well maintained. Support by career service was fine. Lecturers most part fine.
there is no bar in the union although they are trying to change this. it is small and i dont use it as the events are never any good. the gym for this campus is way too small and lacking in equipment and is cramped when there are more than 10 people using it. the wifi is good however there isnt great signal for data in the main lecture halls but the uni wifi is usually working in there. the library has a good book stock but again the study areas are small compared to other unis. there are no toilets or a cafe in the library you are not allowed to eat in there on the upper floors and some of the computers are very old and could do with new monitors. the onsite cafe is overpriced and crowded i never use it. its a small campus and okay campus not amazing but not terrible either. the rent prices are very expensive in cambridge around the unis and being able to only get a place in halls your first year with no option to stay on is frustrating and expensive.
There's definitely a range of societies and clubs you can join, even one based on kpop! The campus is quite small in comparison to other uni's but it's really modern looking, i loved the look of it when i first got here. internet could use some improvements but its not the worst thing in the world i guess.
Huge mistake coming to this university. Poor quality teaching, alongside unprofessional and inadequately qualified staff, makes for a highly uninspiring learning environment. The facilities on campus are poor, with very few sports and societies available. This is not the place to go for a good university experience or for a sound, quality degree. My recommendation to any prospective students is that you should not waste your money and look elsewhere.

So far the university looks professional and give a voice to their students, I feel like you can get help any time and they really help you settle in your course step by step.
Haven’t been here that long but overall it has been an alright experience. The standards are very high and the expectations of students is strict and the amount of work you are expected to do both academically and extra curricular can be overbearing but the teaching is good.
Students Union work hard to help the university. The university partners with cwa and the communication isn't good between the 2 places. The commute is long and we don't feel a part of either university.
Anglia Ruskin is a hatful toxic place. The staff are self serving egotists who happily bully students on a weekly basis. Over time the students se this behaviour and you’re fair game. If you go to this university you can expect to spend a lot of time crying. Many students leave deeply depressed. They treat your ambitions and dreams with contempt and a solely interested in profiteering. The tutors, in their own reputation and careers. They quickly learn which students are more knowledgable/capable and invest all their time and energy into them, the rest, it’s just tough luck. They don’t care, they even go so far as to sabotage your career and bad mouth you in the industry. The facilities are cold, open plan (presumably to prevent suicides), isolating, lonely and lacking a calm space to settle. You can go three years here and never feel like you’re a part of the university. There is no recourse, no one to complain to, if you do they don’t care and nothing comes of it. Don’t go here.
It’s a good uni with good facilities
If you have to go to the Essex, Chelmsford campus, go to a different university. Chelmsford is awful! Full of wannabe gangsters and Essex chavs. However, I'm sure the Cambridge campus is miles better. With that said, the library is fantastic, open 24hrs so if you're a night owl, you'll be well at home studying there. The teaching is fairly good too.
