An excellent place to stay. I have been staying here for more than a year and I have to say that the management staff is great, along with security and the location of the accommodation. If there is issue of any sorts, the management is quick to sort it for you. Everything you need is within 15 mins of walk. There is river behind the accommodation which makes a good place to go in the morning for a jog and relax and enjoy the nature. There is a common/social space which is great to socialise but I feel there should be just accommodation-related activities to socialise more with fellow students.

It’s definitely one of the best accommodations i have lived in,i really love its vibe.
Friendly staff lovely building
Staff are very nice and helpful.
I am not a social butterfly so i can’t accurately rate my “social experience” but everything is good
Good enough to make me want to book for the whole duration of my university studies.
The team was really helpful when i moved in
The staff are amazing here. They resolve any issues and maintenance asap. They are kind and friendly and always check in on us when we pass by.
Chris, Ben & Egle are legends, awesome staff, good Customer Service.
Amazing location, easy walk to ARU and town centre. All the staff are so lovely and helpful
Brunswick House is a brilliant accommodation. It's wonderful
I must say it! From the first day I lived in this flat, Chris the caretaker has been helpful! He is a very enthusiastic and friendly person. Very conscientious when it comes to work too. It is a pleasure to watch him pushing the trolley
An amazing accommodation filled with lovely staff
I’ve enjoyed my stay at Brunswick, the location is so close to Anglia ruskin,It’s a 2min walk to the river, staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are modern and clean, there is enough space and drawers for your stuff, the kitchen and social spaces are so cozy and the court yard is pretty. The only issue is with the students being a bit messy and dirty in the laundry room.Overall I would recommend Brunswick.
Perfect location, close to a wide range of supermarkets for your grocery needs. Right opposite the Grafton Centre is also a plus. The ensuite rooms are really nice. Reception staff (Matthew and Olivia) are just amazing! Close to River Cam and Anglia Ruskin University.
Both Olivia and Matthew are very accommodating and welcoming. Always there for a chat or to answer questions if you need. Perfect people to have around if you’re worried about anything or struggling to settle in!
Such a lovely place to live with a good feeling of community!
Words can’t describe the experience. Through thick n thin the support was provided. Home away from home! Olivia and team always make sure needs and demands are met with utmost effectiveness and efficiency
Brunswick house is an amazing accommodation, being in university it’s a really practical place to be in. It’s a short walk from the city centre and aru. The staff are brilliant and it’s a great place to be.
Brunswick House Cambridge I have been living for 3 years and what I like about this place is that I am closer to the university (Anglia) to the city Center I have a direct bus to the train station and I’m also near the Tesco superstore and bars and Grafton shopping Center and so on, the accommodation it’s good for the price as it provides me with the necessary tools to make my stay here enjoyable, we don’t need to worry about electricity, heating or anything regarding the housing we have fire alarms and assembly points tested every week good security we have wardens ready at any time to help in case of trouble or keys being lost and so, no problems with the deliveries or parcels as they are kept in reception for us, if something is broken Chris will happily fix it for us if something is not clean Ben will take care of it for us. It is a really good accommodation. In terms of socialising I think the management could promote more events as there are a lot of people here.
I’ve been living in Brunswick house for the past 2 years and it is a great place to live. The building is in a great location, everything is walking distance from uni and city centre. The management of this place is great, if there is an issue it gets resolved quickly. They are also very supportive, understanding of situations and always available for a chat. The student experience here is amazing every day there is a new activity to take part in; for example, free breakfast on Monday, and several competitions that allow the students to win gifts. Overall, I really recommend Brunswick house to other students.
Great place to stay, the staff are very friendly
Good experience and friendly staff
I love this place. It's definitely my home far from home. There is an excellent assistence for all of us. I can't wait for the common area to reopen.
Brunswick house is in a super convient location, only 10 minutes to ARU and Grafton centre and a 15 minute slow walk to the big Tesco. The staff are amazing and always willing to help as soon as possible and if something cannot be completed then and there they always keep you updated on what is happening. The staff have been especially communicative during the pandemic and have been fully supportive and caring in the situation, Chris is always able to fix you maintenance issues as quickly as he can in a covid secure way. And Alison and Olivia are always willing to help out with the office issues and parcel collections. Unfortunately the major drawback is the price at an average of £8,000 to 9,000 a year it is very expensive. Almost too expensive especially when most student loans will not fully cover the cost. Especially during Covid when there has been a lot of time where most residents haven’t been at the accommodation due to the governments evolving lockdowns.
This guy is lovely and amazing
Friendly staff. Nice location. Lovely building.
Poor management. Initially when I moved in I’ve got this Spanish flatmate, always show up topless in the kitchen and SMOKES INDOOR, and having parties all the time with his Spanish friends at night, and uses other people’s kitchenware. I and my other flatmates have talked to him about smoking indoor and the noise but he continued to do so. So we reported him to reception. At first they agreed to move him to another flat, but somehow they changed their mind as they have to ‘listen to both sides’ LMAO. There’s no punishment they did to that guy and he just continued to cause troubles. In the end me and my flatmates were the one that had to move out!!!! It’s ridiculous. There’s also noises during the night in general and they continued to apologize but it still happens quite often.... very disappointed and the room is overpriced. The main door gets locked everyday after 6pm and during weekends there’s no one at the reception. You have to cross the garden and communal area...
Brunswick house is an alright place. The staff is friendly and approachable, the rooms are cozy and well lit. The only issue really is storage space in the 4 bedroom flats. There isn't much fridge space for four, leading to people's things getting mixed in together
Living at Brunswick house is a great experience! The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious and the venue itself is in a great area. Highly recommend
Brunswick house is perfectly located. In less than 20 minutes you’ll find ARU, shopping mall, supermarket and the city center. The community areas are always clean and accessible (not during lockdown for obvious reasons ) The flats are spacious and well arrange. They are always containing all the pieces of furniture you may need for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
Living in Brunswick House has been an outstanding experience. The staff are super friendly and the location is perfect. I highly recommend BH!
There’s always, something breaking down or not working. The place is infested with moths, which should of been dealt with by bringing a professional. There’s also areas of the buildings that need cleaning such as the hallways in every floor!!! The only good thing I can say about this place is the location, the maintenance guy Chris that is always running up and down fixing everyone’s issues.
The only reason for social experience being marked down is covid! Nothing the building could have changed. The building is in such a good location, the rooms are nice. And the staff are the nicest people around, anytime you need anything and you’re not sure what to do, you can ask them and they’ll always try and help. The maintenance man is also lovely and super helpful. Would stay again!
A phenomenal team that work at the property, they can’t do enough to help you and make you feel like you have people invested in you and your university experience. I think especially during a time where emotions are high, your trapped in your accommodation and academic demands are still going strong the team have always made me feel happy, from wee chats in the hall, delivery pick ups at reception and any queries or troubles I experience. The accommodation is clean and modern, you are near everything you would need from shops to university to restaurants and to transport access. I enjoyed my time so much I came back for my third year, and I would highly recommend if you want to be in student accommodation but you don’t want the messiness that can come with student life. A five star vibe 🌟
Brunswick House has been a great place to stay while studying. Located a short walk from the main ARU campus getting to class on time was no issue. Similarly being located across the road from the grafton centre made catching a film (non covid times) or doing some shopping easy and hassle free. Meanwhile being so close to the river makes going for a walk easy, especially in the summer with the green and river a great place to relax and get some fresh air. The staff here are great, from reception to maintenance everyone is super helpful and easy to talk to.
Chris is great. Don’t know about the rest but maintenance is amazing
Amazing place to stay for students! Close to town, the university and the big shops. It is tucked away which makes it feel very safe and secure, and the staff are lovely and very helpful!
I studied at a law school in the centre of Cambridge for two years, staying at Brunswick throughout. And I could not recommend it highly enough. My room (a normal double in a six-person flat) was spacious, good storage space, and a pleasant ensuite. The kitchen/social space in the flat was ample and the facilities in the kitchen fulfilled every need (fridges, freezers, microwave, grill, hob, oven etc). The internet (that comes with the accommodation) was also more than enough (I streamed videos, Netflix, Skygo etc and worked in my room a lot). I never had any problems with it. The whole building was great, clean, and accessible. The location was also brilliant: a few minutes from ARU and about ten minutes walk into town and with midsummer common on your doorstop. By far the highlight for me was the staff. They couldn't have been more helpful and were always there with a smile in case I needed anything. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!!
