It’s really nice at UWE! The campuses have a nice friendly feel and look so aesthetic no matter what season it is. The student unions are really friendly and the staff are so lovely and willing to help, no matter how silly you think the question is! The WiFi is great, once you’re connected to eduroam there’s no problems! Can’t complain :)

Great campus I just cannot afford to come in at all because of how low my maintenance loan is
As an architecture student, the R block is great and is a good environment to be productive with work, with all the equipment necessary for my course.
Overall good facilities and alright location
Great uni great service great everythingp
Biggest rooms I have ever seen cheers mate innit
The location is very good. tesco is close. The indoor free billiards table is clean and tidy, which is the best facility in all dormitories I have ever seen.
Good university with great facilities and access
Great Uni experience, staff and facilities brilliant
Such a lovely area and building had a great time thank you !!
All good so far, nothing to complain about
Good facilities, good building and teaching
I’ve found it very difficult to find a job in Bristol and wish there was more support for this as living in Bristol is very expensive and a job is pretty essential especially if i want a nicer house next year. There are many good societies at UWE, but they are very expensive so it stops me from doing a lot of them
Stimulating, equipped and available
Great university, excellent staff
it’s very good good job lads !!!
The university is really supportive. Lots of great facilities. Lectures are well organised. Everyone is willing to help. Lots of support available
perfect experience and lots of facilities
amazing deal and very helpful people around
The buildings can be confusing to find rooms and the teaching quality has been pretty poor. Most teachers don’t seem to do much more than the bare minimum even when you directly ask for extra support.
It’s a cozy property with a group of friendly and helpful staff, especially Lappy and Jarmo—super helpful and welcoming. The facilities are also great!
Facilities are good with access to a wider network
good experience, haven’t come across any issues
My university experience has been enjoyable so far. Lectures have been organised and executed well for my understanding. However, I think there are some inconsistencies with the quality of seminars I received this year. Certain seminar lecturers have provided me with clear understanding of assessments and the use of skills that I am learning in the real world. In contrast, I have seen a stark difference with some seminar tutors who have not planned sessions well. I think it would be ignorant as well to not mention the fact that having spoken to other peers, most have the similar opinion in that a number of lecturers have limited English and it is very hard to absorb content when they are speaking fast.
Overall I think UWE is a great university. The facilities, buildings and opportunities are great. However, the main cause of concern for me is the poor communications. Firstly, blackboard is terrible in my opinion. It’s overly complicated, with far too many tabs and varying ways of use between different lecturers. The marking tab on blackboard is bad. It’s difficult to figure out which marks are for which assignments/exams etc.
Campus is filled with everything you could need and all the staff seem pleasant and accommodating
Great uni, lots of support with my studies
Pretty great campus just lacks diversity maybe.
Need more hands on practice in my course
Good campus with everything you need.
solid campus, great facilities, services and people
good uni Good enough for studying, and any problems raised are fixed in a reasonable time.
Everything is good, the only downside is that i occasionally have trouble with connecting to the WiFi. Other than that everything else is fine.
Wonderful Uni Experience, would definitely recommend.
I had the best years of my life.
I’m having a lovely time at UWE
As a student at UWE, I’ve found the facilities to be excellent—modern classrooms, great libraries, and plenty of study spaces. The Student Union is a real highlight too, with lots of events and support available, and the classes themselves are well-structured with knowledgeable, supportive teachers. However, one frustrating thing is the campus map on the website—it’s really unhelpful, and finding rooms at first was a struggle. It would be great if they improved it to make navigating campus easier, especially for new students. Once you get past that, though, it’s a really solid place to study and feel part of a community.
In general I satisfied with everything, especially Library that works 24/7!
good amazing outstanding i like uwe
So far my experience has been very good
I'm really happy with the university and its facilities. Especially the workshops that I have attended
No student union at bower, but great facilities and love the SPCs
Always has what I need somewhere
its just mid honestly its a good university with some good facilities but nothing really special
The facilities are very good !
The wifi doesn’t rlly work. I’m not on bower or Frenchay so my resources are a bit more limited. Bower is amazing though - if only it didn’t cost so much to get there!!!
Love the campus, staff are so supportive, great facilities and a good environment
really lovely uni an amazing experience and massive campus so you’re never bored
It’s a good uni, but I don’t really get involved with SU things as this all happens on the main campus, which I do not live on. It would be better if there were SU events in the city centre to be more inclusive of city campus students.
All good. Nice and Kind people.
Very good university with a good rank and helpful tutors
the best place to apply for accomodation right in the heart of Bristol, staff are so welcoming !
The lectures have been informative and given several opposites to try and refine new practical skills as well as professional mindsets. Lecturers are good at pushing ideas and giving new ones as well as things to research and content is varied and allows for a lot of creativity. There facilities are robust, leading for a lot of potential when approaching new topics.
love uni so far my teachers are lovely
overall good. i can tell that the school has students in mind.
amazing university very inclusive
the course is badly organised and some facilities are very old. other than that, I thought the uni was okay, could be better thought, hopefully in the near future
Campus feels a bit like a sixth form but facilities are good
Barney is a very helpful receptionist and is always smiling and cheering everyone up. Extremely accommodating!!!
Great experience at university so far
lovely staff daisy,barney and jaff
It’s very good and I have enjoyed my time so far.
i haven’t been to many societies or used the career service, but the campuses are good
A great uni with good facilities
Fun experience l, made amazing friends
I am enjoying the BA illustration course at UWE, the course feels helpful in my development to who I want to be.
Great uni, everything is accessible and staff are friendly.
Haven’t really used the student facility’s much
I love it here! everyone is so lovely and welcoming
Societies are great and there is so much well being help also and with studies too
Great university, super social and great value for money
Decent campus, pretty bad wifi though.
The university is great and the staff are wonderful
Overall I’ve had a very good experience at UWE, my course has been really good, the events quite good to go and have a look at and the facilities are generally very good.
I like university supports and facilities they offer
Uni is friendly and the facilities are really great
Uwe is great, very helpful staff, great location and a great working environment
It’s a good university with a lot of nice lecturers, you’ll meet a lot of great people, the societies are packed with events to help you meet new people and the university facilities are up to date.
I am a 2nd year student in UWE and I really appreciate the facilities in UWE as it renews from time to time. I am studying in a creative technology course and the facilities and studios are enough for students. In terms of clubs and societies, it would be better if there is regular meetings and new ideas in different weeks will help engage the members and the vibe of the society. For career services, I would say that UWE does not have much support for placement students and requires us to connect and search for companies ourselves, which is quite hard for me.
I definitely think I have made the right choice choosing UWE. I am based on the arts/creative campus (Bower Ashton) which can feel a bit alienated from the main campus, especially in terms of students union (bar) and societies. Aside from this, Bower Ashton has many great facilities available to all students. One of my favourites being the central loans equipment store and many great studio spaces. All of the staff and tutors I have met so far seem to know their stuff, are sociable with students whilst supportive and understanding. I would definitely recommend UWE to any creative students, just remember it's very independent - which isn't a bad thing.
I transferred from Winchester, and there's not been a second where I regretted my decision. I love UWE so much!
Good it has good favilities good people goodd campus
I think the support system at UWE is amazing. I am able to take care of my mental health and also receive help with my studies and getting jobs.
Just not as good as it could be
I’m currently a second year at UWE and I just love the campus and how supportive the lectures are especially when it comes to assignments There are lots of different food areas to try if you are interested in different sorts of food including a vegan cafe, chicken small restaurant thingy, SU bar, etc and foods are normally cheaper than normal (the drinks are cheaper than town as well in the SU bar)
UWE is a wonderful place and has a great community for everyone from students in other countries and cultures. And the uni lectures and workshops are great as the teachers are welcoming and supportive.
Really good uni for architecture. Studio space is great and many good places to work on campus. Altho the library is not that nice a building.
Meh. Had a lot of problems to be honest. Not really thrilled with the handling of the course. Some very brilliant teachers who seem to really care but a lot of the experience has been disappointing & not met my expectations sorry to say
Nice campus just a bit out of the way
the journey to spike island was great and got me out of the flats
Uwe is a very good place to start before your career especially creative degrees such as music technology, tutor are professional which ensures you have a great experience of Uni life and studies before entering the industry.
Not much support with assignments, however teaching is amazing
nice campus and area around it
good uni confusing to get around
Good experience for all international students
Bower Ashton is good, really good facilities for art
I love my University UWE. The menagement of the university is really helpful.
Uni all good. Great facilities and teachers.
overall a positive experience, the campus is very green and open
would prefer a wider range of societies but the campus has a lot of nice facilities
