Bath is a fantastic place to study

The university offers excellent academics, a vibrant campus, and strong support services, making it a great place for students to thrive.
Good experience. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
Great place to do your masters and make new friends
I love the management and how sweet and helpful they are. The accommodation itself is very clean and the social spaces are amazing. I love the amenities offered and how cute and aesthetic the decor is. 10/10 recommend to book fr the next year :)
What a posh city and nice campus, I love the facilities and a services that support the students
A great university to be at, with inclusive and supportive staff
University of Bath is awesome!
Great experience so far! Excellent teaching facilities and lovely location too.
Great gym and campus and careers service are really supportive for placements & grad jobs
WiFi cuts in and out and some buildings are more napable than others
Poor wifi in lecture halls so it’s quite difficult to access the lecture slides and additional resources during the lecture. Accommodation is fine though there isn’t any staff that will help you if creepy crawlies find their way inside your room.
I've loves my time here at Bath. All the staff are really helpful and approachable. They provide each student with a great support system with multiple people you can reach out to, if you're struggling with the course, or your general wellbeing.
Good university. It is expensive to live there though (less expensive than London).
Studying at the University of Bath is generally great with few challenges as an Indian postgraduate student. The academic is great, containing a number of good opportunities for research and a very supportive learning environment. The campus itself is modern and well-equipped; this makes studying here enjoyable. The city is undoubtedly beautiful, but information on accessing the services through buses and transportation should be much clearer; to begin with, that might prove a little tricky. I would also add that the people here are socially somewhat reserved and rarely speak, which makes communication with them a bit more difficult, though I wouldn't say people here aren't amiable. I don't know if it is the same with the other cities, but I will learn when I go to visit them.
University of bath is amazing and it’s the best fit for me as an international student with several societies to a part of, great faculty and the best facilities.
It’s a very good university and anyone would be lucky to study here, domestic or international.
The university campus is beautiful and the teachers are mostly great.
Overall it’s been great. Lovely campus with great teaching staff and outstanding careers team.
Great university experience! Student union should consider keeping some events post 5pm for students who have university regularly until then. Because of all events being conducted during the day, had to miss out on majority of the events!
Great university, the campus is big and beautiful with lots of amenities and facilities. The professors and staff are top notch.
Honestly the university is terrible with helping their international students. It has been nothing but problem after problem. If I had known what I would be going through, I would not have chosen to come here.
Nice university so far! Though the tuition fees are raising and the bus fares are expensive.
Every thing is actually perfect
Good campus, nice facilities, expensive tho
Good uni environment , good library
No complaints. Great location, easy to get to campus. Staff are amazing, and a joy to interact with.
The university is good and the vibe is good
Good facilities, but outdated buildings for engineering courses. Teaching is good though, and careers service is very willing to help.
Terrible university, have no idea how i has gotten its ranking, staff are not helpful, exams are not from the material taught, and the course as a whole is missmanaged, would not recommend to anyone wishing to gain valuable knowledge for workforce.
The faculty is very helpful always ready to help in any facet of life needed.
Bath always tries to listen to the student voice and improve facilities and activities. Overall very happy with my experience!
Nice Uni, COVID experience not great
It’s a very nice university with a good course. Buildings are nice and accommodations as well.
Brilliant uni. Not ideal for Masters if you are not inclined on research intensive courses
One of the best universities in the UK
Great teachers and beautiful campus! Needs better careers advice for students wanting to go abroad.
Bath is a world class university in the most beautiful city you can imagine. It can be annoying to have to go up and down the hill from town to campus but it's almost worth it for the views on the way!
Pretty good :) But the majority has lots of complains. Nothing too major
Literally the Best uni in all of Uk. Best campus, Best social life. Amazing opportunities for international student as well
The university has one of the best campus I have seen and the staff is really helpful and we have group socials which are lot of fun. If you are planning on joining this uni then I would recommend it. Has been great till date studying here. The curriculum is great and the teachers are wonderful.
I joined university of Bath during Covid. During which the university was very supportive. I enjoyed campus the first year when it was quiet. I don’t particularly enjoy lots of people so do not find myself going onto campus in later years. I did not enjoy going in person to lectures due to the number of people and seating being cramped and restrictive, but the university was very accommodating to help like continuing recordings of lectures so i could work from my room. I have not joined much clubs or socials but have tried dog walking as a well-being activity which was fun.
Good uni being thought by very smart people. Strikes however are unacceptable
Good uni, first year skewed by covid but enjoyed it overall
University of Bath is an amazing uni (university of the year!!) with really competitive courses. The SU and staff are always really helpful and friendly. In first year they give you plenty of opportunities to make friends (within your course, accommodation or societies). Amazing university!
Has been an amazing place to study for 3 years
I have had great learning experience and enjoyed the method of teaching.
Compared to other universities, Bath’s campus is rather ugly (something I found off putting when I came to visit) but the layout means you constantly bump into people you know and being set in the countryside is a real bonus
Overall a good university, a range of services and help available, but i haven’t personally taken advantage of too many
My first year as been really good, there has been lots of opportunities to make friends and settle in quickly such as freshers week and the mindful activities in the edge!
Best underdog university. Not many people talk about Bath because most people think it doesn’t have much social life and it’s not a Russel group uni but it’s all lies honestly. Best decision I ever made!
It’s okay, not much student support out there, departments don’t really check to see if you’re okay.
very beautiful small city !! wonderful living in bath. you are away from the hustle bustle and have a nice small cozy community here .
The SU hosts many events and gives a lot of opportunities to meet new people and try something new!
It is the best University! I love it!
Best university ever I knowwwww
Nice and cute place but facilities need to be upgraded
I think I take for granted of all the services and facilities the University provides for me. I only realised this after hearing about my friends’ Universities - what they dont have, we have. Annoying things ( e.g lecturors not uploading on time) happen all the time for them, it never happens to us. Quite an impressive University I would say.
I like language cafe and language pal, quite helpful. But canteen cuisine can be improved.
Many facilities provided to help students for their studies and can also enjoy many activities in the campus.
Overall pleasant , great university
The University of Bath gives me a ground to explore my potential
If you want to find a university with a solid academic reputation, a beautiful campus, a strong focus on employability and vibrant student lives, the University of Bath is the one you want.
All the facilities and buildings are very close together making traveling between lecture halls extremely easy and fast.
The University of Bath is an exceptional institution, providing an outstanding academic experience for students. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. The faculty are highly knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed, and the student community is diverse, friendly, and supportive. Overall, the University of Bath is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a top-quality education in a welcoming and stimulating environment.
A very good university in terms of teaching although can be a bit slow with admin (which seems to be a common theme for UK universities).
The university is good. I did not join much of the activities, but overall good.
It’s good that its all in one place, staff really care about what they do
One of the top 100 universities in the world
Nice experience studying here in Bath. The facilities were great and the university area is really beautiful. Also it is easy to go to uni.
Overall lovely campus, they meet everyone’s needs. Lots of different social activities, ones that don’t include drinking too! All the staff are lovely and obviously the facilities are amazing
Campus is a Long way from some of the accommodations they offer, but overall a good uni
Bath is competently managed commercial bore. I have never once felt truly encouraged to try and do anything interesting or new. If you have a studious but unworldly attitude to learning (think Hermione Granger with less intuition) then bath is probably the place for you. The sports facilities are fantastic.
Going into my final year in September. Despite doing my 2nd year during Covid, I have enjoyed my time in Bath so far. The town is nice, big enough that you can do and buy most things, but not too busy that it would be distracting. University's sport and learning facilities are, for the most part, new and to a high standard, and have never had an issue with the staff.
Great library, lots of places to get food, lovely to sit by the lake. Well educated and passionate lecturers
Overall pretty good university, could do with better options for lunch and sometimes the Wifi is bad.
Great experience, the only downside is the university is on a hill and takes forever to get up there by bus
I do like the university and the quality of education. Lots of facilities. Most lectures and seminars were in person which i really liked. However, I found socialising very hard and didn’t make many friends. Lots of events going on, but i guess i just didn’t find my people. i found that some things in the uni didn’t make sense at all but that might just be personal preference
A large natural campus with all lecture halls within 10 minutes of residence, short bus journey into town
Enjoy my experience at the University everyone is very friendly and the facilities are great!
This is really not a good place for international students because the University management always tries to take advantage of overseas students by doing all sorts of unfair things. Besides, this is not a good place for engineering research especially mechanical engineering because these supervisors are extremely selfish. This place is full of hypocritical people in the management level who don't have the right perception and most of them are corrupted and controlled by the University system. This makes them don't really care about the student experience but do whatever increases the profit of the University of Bath. Really a shame to be part of this place.
Campus and facilities are good, have everything I need. Haven’t been involved in many clubs/societies but know lots of people who are. SU has lots of activities, but is quite expensive. Haven’t personally used the careers service yet but am aware of lots of support available. Wifi is also good.
My overall experience at the University of Bath was amazing. I've had the chance to do two placements and an academic exchange program. During the pandemic, the lecturers have worked hard to make the online learning experience as rewarding as possible.
Wasn’t the best during Covid times but they did try to help a little bit at the start of the year to help with initial move in and such but not a very good effort through out the rest of the year.
A really good university that cares for it's students, but it is also an expensive area
I really enjoyed my experience at Bath university. I made some great friends. I liked the fact that the campus was small and everything was close togethor. I thought the options for societies and clubs was really good - I got to try lots of new things. I liked the fact that they had 24/7 security
Brilliant uni that did especially well in the pandemic compared to others
So far my experience has been fantastic. I felt both academically and mentally supported by the university. The campus has essentials and some nice luxuries too - from an on campus grocery to a nightclub and pub.
Great uni everyone come to Bath it’s the best
I hardly ever go to the campus this semester due to the pademic, but I can feel that the teachers and the staffs are friendly and patient.
Amazing university with amazing facilities
They dont care about their students at all
The best university! Love being here
For me the biggest perk of going to the UoB was living in Bath. It really is a phenomenal city with so much beautiful countryside to explore around it. But the university itself was not great - the campus is ugly and the food options are far from affordable. My course had a mix of really awful lecturers (roll out of bed and improv kind of thing) and amazing ones. The course itself was not as rigorous or challenging as it should have been and some modules were shameless filler, but the labs were excellent (aside from electronics experiments which were mediocre). I had a really mixed experience at Bath. It is a sporty uni and while I enjoy fitness, I am not a sporty person. I think this made it much harder to fit in. That said, there are loads of other societies beyond the sports clubs so you can find your niche. The library was good, but it was often very difficult to find a computer. The gym was always rammed from wall to wall but has since been extended.
Adapted really well and provided a great first ye mar experience
Great place to study in a very charming part of the world. Highly recommended.
uni in the best city, never a dull day (unless you're considering the weather, then its always raining)!
I enjoyed my time at Bath Uni as its a true campus site so there is a friendly vibe and it feels lovely and secure. Certain areas are in need of modernising but the newer buildings are really nice so it depends what course you enrol on! Good facilities across the site and as you might expect, excellent sports! Lots of coffee shops and eateries although nearly all are SU owned so price and variety are a little fixed. Night life is ok, the only real negative for me was finding out they have a large animal testing lab down in the South buildings... no need for that in this day and age and spoilt my final year thinking about the suffering going on in the building right next to me.
Nice campus in a nice city. Excellent sport facilities, but the gym is way too expensive and busy. Close to Bristol.
