My experience in Woodland Court was amazing, was there during covid. Was a bit weird when the security dudes would pop into ya kitchen outta nowhere, bit of an invasion of privacy. Security Steve had a right old fright when he came in and I was standing right by the door with me knife cutting cucumbers. Woodland was absolute jokes, amazing en suite 10/10. Although, silverfish, so so so many silverfish

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
The rooms are great, the en suite is a shower room which gets gross if not cleaned but so nice to the privacy and space. The social space/kitchen are joined and definitely werent big enough in Woodland B for 20. The cleaners were regular but having that many people makes the space messy very quickly. Great for meeting people, especially during COVID, and fast wifi. Right next to a bunch of fields which is good for walks ;) and close to all student facilities.

Great place but the cleaner is stupid and incredibly annoying
The best one with en suite rooms
I was in the shared bedroom block, which allowed me to get to know about 50 people, as we also befriended the flat below us. I found that people knew when to party and when to study and it was a good balance. The Wi-Fi completely disappeared from my flat one weekend and it wasn't great for the rest of the year.
Woodland court offers you a double bed and your own larger en-suite shower room. In comparison to the quads and other accomodation. My room felt quite big. I have a lot of clothes, therfore the storage space available was amazing, 1 wardrobe and 4 big open sleves and 2 drawers. The social experience, it is amazing, we are right next to the quads for socials. The kitchen and lounge area is amazing for space and pres. The only downside, my room wasnt that warm, as well as wifi skipping out at times. Also the kitchen got cleaned 3 times a week and my room got cleaned every 6 weeks was enough. My first choice originally was between woodland and the quads, but i have a friend in the quads and her room is tiny and she has a single bed. I am so glad i picked woodland. If i had the option again to choose it i would. Social experience is amazing, but really thats down to who you live with. I was very lucky in getting a flat were 80% of people like going out.
Had a massive kitchen, and had amazing social life and next to everything on campus. Bad things: heating only comes on at certain times so it's freezing in winter. My room was so cold it was hard to sleep. Cleaning: could of done my with shower drain cleaning more.
Heating is really high in winter. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Nice having your own toilet. Woodland Court is not very socialble as a whole block though. Location is amazing as it's quiet but near to the gym and the lime tree.
Hated the shared aspect of it.
i like being able to convert my bathroom into a night club and dancing round naked in the shower to techno
Hesitant about sharing a room but has been completely fine. Residential Tutor is incredibly helpful, ensuring our bins are collected twice as much as normal, organising our post delivered to the kitchen and getting more shelving for the kitchen. The halls, kitchen and lounge area are huge which is great for the amount of people on the floor.
I love it here. Everyones great and we are so close to everything
It's just great, really great. Honestly I can't explain how great it is. I wish you could see how great it is.
Best rooms you can get on campus, but you pay for it.
Outstanding banter, I'm talking real stuff. Great variety of banter
Absolutely off the chain, lads all round with great banter flowing all the time, absolute scenes.
No common rooms but massive kitchens, double beds and a room which can fit more than a couple of people in to make up for it
No wifi in room, nice big room, starting to feel old
Best choice to live on the campus! Convenient, clean and really nice place..
Double bed is nice! Could do with extra an sink though - 1 between 16 in some flats
Don't like the idea of sharing but other than that a great place to live
A lovely place to live, in a great location and with a nice outside area.
