St Pat’s is definitely outdated but by far it is so sociable because you meet more than just your flat mates. Everybody is in the same situation by being catered and not having an en-suite so it’s an extra thing to bond over.
Good size room and bathroom. Cleaners are good. WiFi is unreliable. Limited clothe storage space.
Bedroom: Spacious (storage under bed) Closet and drawers large! Bathroom is nice :Shower is Stiff. White Walls get dirty quick Heaters are good! Internet is rubbish!! Use the ethernet cable or ask for a WIFI extender as it doesnt work that well! Cork board is also very Shallow so pins dont fully go in! Desk is large! Bed is quite shallow bring a thick mattress protector as the beds aren’t amazing but worth it! Kitchen: Lots of storage space(3 cupboards each min). Hobs are well used heat increases as turned counter clockwise. Six people but only 4 seats in the sofa and 5 chairs in the table! Tv jas been broken for ages but no maintenance has fixed it!
Everything was good, with the exception of cleaners trying to find excuses not to do their job, the maintenance was not always reliable or done with good pace but there was still a decent turn around comsidering the amount of people than need to be catered for. The only gripe is the amount of money paid but honestly, everything to do with university is overpriced. Another issue is the need to pay £2 every time you want to use a washing machine, since they don't come with the halls. Everything else was excellent though.
Only thing that I could really fault on a serious level would be that you're paying £141 per week (probably more for 15/16 freshers), and the wifi is shocking. If you haven't done your washing up the cleaner won't come at all, they will walk in and straight out again. And you have to pay for your laundry. Which in other university halls at our university like sansome halls you don't have to and there is one integrated in the kitchen.
Lovely halls, slightly overpriced but in need of a social area where all of the halls can socialise together
It was very good to live there.
Had the best year of my life in there last year. Great place to live

Really nice accommodation , close to town and city campus but campus has nothing on it and price is a ripoff.
It was good the room we're well furnished and the staff were ok but it was expensive and you were forced to chose them even if you didn't want to
