Arrival was easy, although I feel sorry for those on 4th floor with no lifts, only some blocks have them. There is also limited parking due to the size of the car park, but trolleys were provided to move your stuff. The room was clean although smaller than the photos. I have heard stories of insect problems in other rooms however have not personally experienced this. Communal areas are great and are maintained well. The location is good for shops etc, however getting to uni has become a bit of a nightmare. I’ve opted to walk, since the 100 bus runs regularly but cannot accommodate all students, causing delays. For the most part, maintenance requests are dealt with quickly, but we had 3 days with no wifi, not Unite’s fault but inconvenient for students. There is also a lot of noise here. If you are facing the games pitch, you will hear people at all hours, and regularly have balls thrown at the windows. Walls are thin. Bring earplugs.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Reception do not follow up with problems and enquiries when asked, WiFi was also down for two days last weekend
For Oxford Brookes University, this is one of the best accommodations available. Even though it's far from the campus, there is a regular bus, as well as a bus that runs in the evenings, that goes into town. The social spaces are great, and even though the rooms themselves aren't that big, there is plenty of storage space and a very modern ensuite. Even though it's on the more expensive side, it's worth it, and I would definitely recommend to all students studying at Brookes.
The price is absolutely extortionate and circuit laundry costs 3x the price compared to clive booth!!! The location is very difficult too and buses to uni in the morning are so difficult so very hard to get a job too! Otherwise the actual place is nice and modern with ok facilities. My room both times I lived here (could live back at clive because of refurb) wasn't clean so had to do myself but also wasn't the worst I have seen. Honestly not totally worth the price wouldn't come here again but social life here is fine. Chose clive instead tho honestly!!
Parade green is class. Good location and great flats. But most importantly the staff that work here make it amazing. Specifically John. He is a legend so kind and caring and chatty. He is too funny and such a great worker
Aimar in reception was very helpful and friendly. Provided excellent costumer service and he is very good looking.
Security guards are amazing , especially John and Naeem , and the leader .
I’ve had a pretty good experience in parade. Night Security team is very nice and helpful. Good customer service.
Parade is a great accom to live in i think? the staff a are very nice and welcoming especially John, Riz and Hatim! They have helped me a lot during my time here. H
The staff are very nice , and very helpful
It was a great experience. It wasn't as hard than I thought it would be.
John is the GOAT at every possible situation available. Give that man a raise, he’s the only reason I came back for another year. P.S i have not been paid by John
John and Hatim are soooo helpful with everything they are the best and the kindest people EVER
i love parade green the staff is friendly and it is a lovely accommodation
The staff at Parade are really great and friendly and super helpful when you have an issue. The accommodation offers a lot for the value and it’s a great place to also meet and hang out with people!
I have spent 2 years at Parade Green so far and have loved every minute. I was feeling nervous starting uni and moving away from home but Parade Green welcomed me and made it feel like home. The staff are so helpful and friendly!
Staying at Parade has been a delight, what I have found to be the most comforting is the staff, in particular Amir whom has been a huge guide and help around Parade. I have been looking for a place to stay next academic year but struggled so much as I left it till the last minute and most rooms around the city were booked up. However, Amir took it upon himself to suggest several locations such as Dorset and Beech house, he also gave me a tour of both and I ended up booking at Beech house as a result of Amir’s help, time and effort. Truly wonderful and brilliant at his job!!
Lazy Maintenance Team, put in a request 3 months ago and window still not fixed (was broken when i moved in) wifi constantly cuts in and out, particularly at night time, sound proofing is awful: can literally hear other people’s alarms go off in the morning, water is a huge issue sometimes hot water is gone other times water is shut off completely for a few days, if you live close to the reception the main road is loud and you will struggle to sleep, door sometimes malfunctions and locks you out your own room, stove turns itself off as a safety measure because people dont know how to cook and cant oversee their food so good luck trying to leave anything to simmer, £3.70-4.80 each wash cycle Great reception team, good social spaces, looks modern with decent facilities Overall, overhyped accom, not what it seems, would not live here again, better off getting a house or if youre in first year cheney or clive is gonna be better
Clean and introverted, Great facilities.
although it hasn't been around long enough to get a reputation like clive booth or cheney, parade was great fun (800 people). It has amazing social spaces like cinema, roof terrace, games room, bbq area and a pitch, nice courtyards aswell as an entire floor of a block dedicated to study space. the rooms are not the biggest but well kept and comfy, lots of storage and has the benefit of an actual shower opposed to wet room. the kitchens are arguably the nicest out of all brookes accommodation; they are modern, comfy and a lot of them are quite large (the one shown in the brookes youtube tour is possibly the smallest kitchen at parade. the whole accommodation is well maintained and cleaned with helpful reception staff who collect all your mail and notify you when it arrives. Parade is a 5 min walk from aldi, homebase, costa and a gym group gym. the biggest downfall is possibly it's distance from campus and town centre. although both are a short bus ride away and rarely busses don't show.
Thank you for feedback we are so happy you enjoyed the accommodation
Close to headington but not great if your based further out like at wheatley. Modern space but rooms are quite small, communal areas are nice with things like the xbox in the games room. It is expensive but can't expect much less from one of the most expensive cities in the world.
