Its been just 2 weeks, i have been living here and what all i got to know is that the management team i really kind and supportive and try to resolve your issue in the best possible way they can. Premises has been well maintained and is a lively place to live. Common social space areas are also quiet good. In a nutshell its a good place to live on. Personally i found rent of the property to be comparatively higher but i might find of worth spending after having the whole year experience at Oxford House.

Oxford House is right in the heart of the city! Northumbria University (Newcastle City Campus) is just a three-minute walk away, and Newcastle University is a quick ten-minute walk.
Right on your doorstep are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment. There are loads of social spaces to enjoy, including a TV lounge, cinema room, games area, and outdoor relaxation area. There’s also a free on-site gym. You can enjoy free Wi-Fi and broadband throughout the building. All bills are included in the rental.

What tenancy length do I need?

Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Living at Oxford House this year has been great, the floors are always clean and the hallways are kept tidy. Whenever any problems with the room pop up the maintenance team is always quick to help and the staff are always friendly.
It’s an amazing place to live with friendly staff and great social areas.
Amazing place to stay, staff are wonderful and very friendly. Shoutout to Mark, Poppy, Hong, Polina and all of the night staff. Great value for money and the location is perfect for both of the universities that are nearby.

The staff is amazing. The place is great. It’s only 7 mins from uni and right in the city’s centre. Aesthetically pleasing as well when walking through the reception area. All in all a 5 star accommodation.

I have been living at oxford house for two years now, and it’s fab! The new management is great, Mark and Poppy are always available for any queries, and there is always someone on reception. Great facilities and an even better location- so close to city centre and both unis! Couldn’t recommend enough :)))
