The Bridge is just a short walk from all local universities. The accommodation is situated in the heart of Shieldfield, just a stone's throw away from the city centre where you can find a range of local shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Students can get social and join the monthly events held by the accommodation. Relax and get to know your neighbors in the many social spaces like the communal lounges, gaming area, private garden, and cinema room. When it is time to get some work done students can make use of the quiet study room and high-speed Wi-Fi. For your added benefit there are laundry rooms, bike storage, all utility bills included, and housekeeping. Stay stress-free with 24-hour CCTV and onsite maintenance.
The Bridge offers a range of en-suite rooms and studio apartments. If you enjoy socializing, then a shared flat is for you, or if you prefer a little more privacy then opt for your own studio. All rooms come fully furnished with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The staff are always kind and helpful when answering questions. Security is always there during out of office hours so safety is never a concern. Maintenance issues are usually cleared up within 2 days of raising them. Would happily book my studio again for next year.

The space is so modern and comfortable, it’s really nice to come back to after lectures to relax and on nights too. My flatmates are great too which helps lots and we love the shared kitchen with the balcony too :)

It’s a nice place to stay but when I moved it it wasn’t cleaned but overall was nice room

bad accomodation, i payed £40 a week less last year and much preferred that. Here at the bridge when i moved in the walls were dirty, radiators dirty, bathroom drain, floor, kitchen had food everywhere even though it obviouslt should have been cleaned. This price for it to not get cleaned before new people move in is disgraceful. Also got unlucky with flatmates who don’t wash up but to be fair that isn’t the accommodations fault. I reported to the maintenance team for them to come and unblock my drain, fix my en-suite door as it keeps getting jammed which could be a serious fire hazard, and also the toilet roll holder is broken which were all reported 3 weeks ago yet still no one has been to fix them. Dont reccomend the accomodation!

Maintenance problems are not sorted quickly at all. Shower was blocked when I moved in and wasn’t fixed for a week. The fridge had problems but overall clean and safe place to live

Had lots of fun on the pool table and table tennis, maintenance fast and efficient and wifi is good. Nice sized kitchen for socialising. 15 minute walk into town and lots of pubs nearby.

One of the higher end accommodations, the facilities were perfect. the only let down was that there were some long term issues with the lifts and some of the reception staff were a little unhelpful at times.

The building is located in a lively area which is social and has plenty of activities to do. The building has 24 hour security which reassures safety.

Good place to live, staff usually respond to issues promptly. Had one issue with a leak and they provided another room for me to stay in while the issue was being resolved. Out of hours Did you say something? Out of hours staff are always there and make me feel safe :)

Great accommodation! Amazing social spaces with free pool table, table football and ping pong. Staff are friendly and the accommodation always looks clean and tidy. Rooms and kitchens are lovely… very modern and spacious. THERES been a few issues with water supply and lift services since being here but the staff have been good at communicating throughout. Amazing accommodation. I have really loved my time living here!

My stay at The Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne during the 23/24 term was a great experience from start to finish. The warm hospitality, convenient location near the city and my campus (Northumbria University), and easy access to amenities like grocery stores and eateries for late night cravings made it perfect. The studio room was spacious, modern, and clean, with thoughtful amenities like a big bed, ample storage underneath bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette that is more than enough for even cooking big meals. The facilities, including a common room and quiet study spaces, were top-notch since it's always clean and comfortable, so I won't need to go out if I need to chill or do some work, moreover, the events like therapy dog visits during our exam week and hosting DJ nights and providing drinks during Christmas break made it feel like home. Overall, The Bridge exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a comfortable and memorable stay during your study as a student here

Stunning accomodation, lived here for 2 years now. Perfect location its in the middle of everything. Rooma are nice and a lot bigger compared to other accommodations in the area

Amazing accommodation, lived here for two years and no problems. Maintenance are fast and efficient. All staff are lovely and room is amazing with fab views on the balcony. Couldn’t fault it at all the staff are incredible.
