Gallery Apartments Biography
Gallery Apartments is situated in the heart of Glasgow city centre, an ideal location for students! Glasgow Caledonian University is just a five-minute walk away, the University of Strathclyde is a twelve-minute walk and Glasgow School of Art is around a twelve-minute cycle away. The other universities are all within easy reach too, either by walking, driving or subway.
Inside the building, you’ll find plenty of excellent features and facilities to make use of. There’s an on-site gym, cinema room, common room and study rooms. You can also benefit from having WiFi, a laundry room, bike storage, all-inclusive bills and contents insurance.
There are 2-bedroom apartments and studios on offer, all of which are modern and stylishly designed. There are 6 different studio types to choose from depending on your needs and budget. All studios come with a fully equipped kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. They also have modern furnishings including a comfy double bed, study desk, chair and plenty of storage space.

I finally found a platform where I can rate anonymously. All the positive reviews you see are forced by the manager. A friend of mine once left a negative review on Google and was contacted and asked to delete the negative review. This is terrible. We are not allowed to raise any doubts at all! Thank for your review, Please dont feel you need to be anonymous in reviewing our property i am always happy to discuss any issues face to face with my students so why dont you pop by reception to discuss your concerns with one of the team.
Just a couple of points in your review i need to correct you on as they are not true, we do not at any point force any students to leave a review for us, we may ask a student to review us however if they choose to do that and indeed how they chose to rate us is entirley up to that student so we have never forced a student to leave us a review.
You mention that the elevators are constantly out of service, this is not the case, we have 2 lifts and the last time one of the 2 was out of services was the 29th of September and it was repaird within 4 hrs of it breaking down, during this machanical failure the other lift was avalible at all times.
We would never ask a student to remove a review, every student is entitled to voice their opinion in whatever manner they wish so this is incorrect.
A i previously said why dont you pop by reception and we can have a chat to discuss how we can make you feel happier with your acconodation, all feedback is good as it gives us the oportunity to hear from our students and how they are feeling.

The current manager is an unapologetic racist who is very rude to the residents. Firstly, she always pretends to be busy at work and hides in her office or behind the door, not helping students or deliveries to open the door. Secondly, she does not care about student refunds and general enquiry requests, some residents have not received their refunds for two months. Also, the rooms are extremely poorly maintained, the carpet is completely damaged all buggy and the management has made no statement. Lastly, the staff can come in and out of your room at will and bring up unjustified fines against you. I would advise everyone to stay away from this place, especially this rude manager, as any complaints you have will be invalid.
Been a wonderful 3 years, location is amazing but quite noisy, which is to be expected when living in the city centre. Could do with security however, as there is none overnight and over the weekends which makes the building quite vulnerable as anyone could come in after a student.
Let me honest this place is riddled with carpet Beatles and moths as pest. Is a loving hazard and disgusting would never recommend every room in building is contaminated - believe this review
Perfect，Brain is so friendly and the apartment is very comfortable.
My partner and I had some issues when booking a dual-occupancy room but the property manager Brian was super nice and greatly helped us with it. We finally have a place to stay together in Glasgow in the next academic year! From my experience, Gallery Apartment has the best location in Glasgow but sadly it didn't have any more dual-occupancy rooms available when we booked for the next year. We'll be moving to another property managed by Brian and I look forward to it.

If you are not guilty or really manage the facilities well, then there is absolutely no need for you to do this. Staff are often absent from reception and often enter rooms without permission, as the vast majority of staff are part-time and we must respect their working hours. The elevators were constantly broken which was really disappointing. If you don't bring the key, they will charge you an exorbitant amount of money and wait an extremely long time in the cold winter.

Worst apartment in Glasgow. There is only one manager and part-time staff at the reception, and then the manager sits forever in the office telling you that he is busy and no one will help you. There are multiple fire alarms a week, frequently broken elevators, and dilapidated facilities.

Best location in town, big rooms with an actual bathroom (not those wardrobe-sized thing!) and huge beds, friendly and approachable staff!
I have been living at Gallery Apartments for the past 3 years and my experience here has been nothing short of exceptional. This student accommodation has amazing studios with spacious areas and is located right in the city centre of Glasgow. There is a very good gym, cinema room and an entertainment room which is great for extra activities. Many universities are within walking distance and there is more than enough choices available for food and shopping nearby. The building manager, Marc Davidson, is extremely helpful and makes sure you have the best experience while staying in this building. Any kind of problems in the are quickly fixed and the staff is very friendly. Definitely would recommend to stay if you are planning to study in Glasgow as I have had a wonderful experience.
The management of the apartment is very terrible, the facilities are old, the building is next to the road and the windows are not soundproof. The receptionist hardly responds to any emails, I have sent 3 emails in the past month and have not received a single response, and they’ve been holding up my refund for more than 10 weeks.
Even though arriving in the middle of a global pandemic, everything was being run expertly throughout my year-long stay by Marc, an excellent property manager. The staff go above and beyond to help, and they can usually find a solution to any problem within minutes. Amazing central location. The rooms are comfortable and provide plenty of storage space. I found it very easy to focus while working in my room as the noise levels were never beyond reasonable measure for student accommodation. Great value for money-everything included + friendly, sociable atmosphere throughout the year. Overall, a fantastic experience. I highly recommend staying at Gallery Apartments.
Best student accommodation ever. Good location with Sainsbury beside and close to John Lewis, Tesco, Boots, Saver, Poundland,Tkmaxx and other stores which can fulfill your daily need. Moreover, the bus station and train station are only a few minutes walking distance. There are some good facilities inside the building such as GYM, cinema room and game room. Must mention that the staffs are really nice, patient and helpful. We got good luck to have Marc as the property manager. He always tried hard to fulfill the needs we want and help solving the problems we encounter.

It really nice accommodations for any student, especially international student, since those kindly staff in this building.
l have been living here for more than a half year and l'm really happy for my life quality here- the property manager is a really kind person who is always there to help me as well as to have a relaxed conversation. Normally for most of the times the whole apartment is really quiet, which makes sure that you could focus more on your own live and study without being disturbed. All in all a really amazing accommodation to recommend!

I stayed at Gallery Apartments for only three months as a result of Covid-19 but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. As an international student, I came home at Christmas and decided since my course was fully online it made more sense to stay home. The property manager, Marc, was very understanding and extremely helpful in ending my contract early. He was always very helpful at the front desk and very easy to contact if you had any questions! Through no fault of Gallery Apartments, I didn't get to socialize very much because of restrictions but the social spaces seemed like cool places to hang out. I would've been happy to stay the rest of the semester as the rooms were spacious, it was a great location, great Wifi, and a pretty good value for money.

Amazing location. So central to Glasgow Caledonian University it's a 2 minute walk away and it's so close for shopping etc as it's right in the middle of the city centre. Staff are lovely and are very attentive to your needs and always try to help to the best of their ability. Has some fantastic social spaces like a gym and cinema room and all common areas are always clean. Prices seem fair for what you actually get too. Overall I loved staying here.

Gallery Apartments is the perfect student accommodation for students. Staff are always really helpful and kind. Problems are always resolved to the best of their abilities. Donation spot has disappeared which we really need back because it was helpful. Otherwise, everything is great.
Covid-19: Honestly apart from the fact that I love my stay in this accommodation, during the COVID-19 outbreak we did receive several emails that were really helpful and useful, however, in comparison to other student accommodations who got reductions in their rent, gallery apartments didn’t. Most of the students had to travel back and this should have been taken into consideration. It would have been really helpful to have sanitizers as well in the building which could be implemented in the near future. Otherwise, I was really thankful for this accommodation and their constant support and effort in providing us with the best.
Amazing location and quiet atmosphere
Excellent location, although price of the rooms is ridiculously high for what you're getting. Modern but furniture is cheap and the 'full kitchen' as described on the website is actually two cooker rings and a microwave. There's excellent communal areas, like the cinema room, gym, study room and common room - however as there is little sense of community in the building, they are rarely used. If you like a quiet, private student living experience then I would recommend this but if you want more of the traditional 'halls' experience I would go somewhere that have a bigger sense of community.
