I've had a really great time staying here at West Gate. Alongside being a great building with awesome property managers, it's in a great location: right next to some unique historical Exeter sites, and only a quick walk away from the University bus stops. There are lots of seasonal mini-events to enjoy as well!

I am currently living in Westgate and can say that this is so far the best accommodation I have lived in. This is near the city Centre and University so u don't have to travel a lot. Phil and Emily are the best people in assistance and provide great services. They are very helpful and organize a lot of stuff plus we get free pizzas every Friday. So there are only perks of staying in WestGate and no cons strictly no cons....☺️☺️☺️

I've been staying at West Gate for two years and it is fair to say that this is one of the best student accommodations one could find. The facilities are kept in excellent condition and the property managers have been friendly and professional. Location-wise it is close to town centre as well as some historical monuments.

Westgate is an excellent student accommodation in Exeter. It's new so it's very nice and clean. Great value to stay here as the room is big compared to other choices and double bedroom is offered. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also have social spaces like dinning room, study room and movie room.

I've had a brilliant time so far at West Gate. There's a lovely community with a wide range of ages, nationalities and backgrounds. The building definitely has the best student facilities in Exeter, and it's a great place to invite friends over or make new ones. There's always a lot going on in the social areas, but the rooms/study areas are quiet and great for working. The studios have everything you you'll need too. Most importantly, Emily and Phil (who look after the building) are fantastic and always on hand to offer advice or help out! Definitely recommend for anyone from first year students to master's students!

The staff are excellent and make West Gate a great place to live. The Cinema room, pool table, gym and library let you have somewhere close by to relax or focus other than your studio, which many other student accommodations in Exeter lack.

Have lived at West Gate for two years now and it has been amazing the entire time. Ideal location within the city centre, and I walk on campus most days and it isn’t too far at all! Emily and Phil, West Gate’s staff, are so lovely and will always help you in any way you need, and go the extra mile. There are regular West Gate events ran, including lots of free food, and it is such a clean and well kept building. I would highly recommend! :)

Emily and Phil are always there to make your West Gate experience as perfect as possible, it's right next to the Quay and High Street. The rooms are pretty big and have a good aesthetic. Would recommend!

The best student studios in Exeter
Definitely worth your money, Paul and Phil are so lovely and kind to all who move here, they even order pizza a lot for us! It’s definitely a quiet accommodation and has a quiet policy after 11pm. If you’re looking to socialise you’ll definitely need to go out of your way for it due to the location and the fact it is studios. Many on-site facilities which are in perfect condition all the time. Walk is a lot but gets you fit, there is also a uni bus about 12 min walk away which can help on a rainy day! You are close to move and fever if you like clubbing and the quay is a very pretty spot to go to. Near ALDI which saves a lot of money on shopping and is a 15 min walk to St David’s station. Sometimes the wifi can go down very rarely but it’s not the accommodations fault at all.
West Gate is quiet but still has social events to engage with the people you are living with. It has the best social areas in comparison to other accommodations in Exeter and is very close to the city centre.
It’s my second year in west gate and my overall experience is pleasant, the managers (Paul and Phil) are really helpful and the rooms are more like a hotel room which is definitely a huge advantage. Wish I could stay more

I have spent a great two years at West Gate. The accommodation team is lovely, cleaning and maintenance is always top notch. The location is brilliant, being only 5 minutes away from the Quay (arguably the best area in Exeter) and around 20 from the uni. The rooms are spacious and we even have a gym and cinema room in the building... It was truly such a good experience living there!
The maintenance staff and everything Westgate has to provide for it's residents is very wholesome to witness. The site has a brilliant location right next to the quay. The property is always clean and expected standards are being met on a regular basis.

The manager of the studio is an amazing man. The personal space is very warm and comfortable. However, the light of the room is not enough bright. The projector in the The cinema is broken. Other than that, it's the best student apartment I've ever lived in.
Excellent accomodation, very well kept and clean and is literally in the city centre. Value for money is bang on as all communals are very luxurious and rooms are larger than most accomodations in the city.

Very warm welcome by Paul and Phil. They are always on hand and can solve any problems if there are any. Great living space, with a range of different amenities such as a gym, study space rooms and even a cinema room. The location is fantastic. A two minute walk from the Quay and the high street is very close. Would highly recommend this accommodation.
