The previous people who ran Trinity Hall were appalling and didn't really care but for the money , Since it was taken over By Cloud in the new year, 2020. a lot of things have been changed, even the new beds bought etc as the other people didn't care , There hot on it with the virus trying to keep students at bay during the hard time, so credit has to be given to the group who have taken over.

University of Chester
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Absolutely awful year living here, would not recommend to anyone. On the day of my arrival (move-in date was given to to Trinity Hall via email weeks in advance). On arrival was met and shown to my room, that hadnt been touched since the previous tennants had moved out, the building manager then agreed with me it was unsanitary to move into these conditions and I had to get a hotel for myself and my partner (who had come to help me move in) for the night. A cleaner was arranged to come the following day to deep clean and The room was going to be ready by 1pm, it wasn't. The cleaner had cleaned the toilet and the sink. I was given a £50 amazon voucher for the inconvenience and three hours it took me and my Partner to deep clean before moving my belongings in. (To remove all dirt, human finger nail clippings, rubbish, etc) Shower was broken on move in and wasn't fixed for 2 months, i had nothing but cold water. I paid my rent for the year upfront and was highly dissapointed.
Well, it was not cleaned on our arrival and after asking multiple people, we ended up having to clean my room ourselves before it was able to be occupied. The ovens were absolutely disgusting and even after a lot of contact with the owners/managers, it took about 2/3 months before they were cleaned. Our fridge broke and it took 3 months before it was replaced, this was with weekly contact to the owners from two difference residents of the flat. You can hear every single movement that the person beside your room makes. Would not stay here again.
First, the room wasn’t clean on my arrival, but it was nothing compared to how the kitchen was. There were, bottles, pizza boxes, the wood floor was detached. The stools were broken. No microwave. I asked for it, it was supposed to be ordered.. still waiting for it 6 weeks after. When you allow people to stay for less than a year it’s not normal that they suffer from the lack of cleanliness of students staying there a year long, there should be a cleaning agent at least twice a week. Then, it is supposed to be only one person/room. One of my “roommate” hosted his girlfriend for 2 whole months without her paying any rent, that’s unfair to people who follows the rules and pay their rent. The building manager had been told but didn’t seemed to care. About the hot water - impossible to have unless you take a shower in the middle of the night. And finally, the parking area. It is said on various websites that there is a parking area but only 10people can PAY to book them for the year.
