I had a great experience at Asha House, everything is taken care for, they understood my requirements and assigned flatmates who had similar requirements as me, the management is really quick and always helps, and the owner is always there to help out incase something goes wrong. The ensuite rooms are great for the price and give me the privacy i need, and the shared kitchen place also has good storage. overall a great experience

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Pretty good overall. The large desk is amazing.
Having been staying for 6 months, I felt lucky to find out about Asha House coz it’s such a lovely place to accommodate, especially international students. One of the best things I love about Asha is its excellent location and the most supportive management team ever. It’s located right in Loughborough town centre, a 5-min walk to Sains, Tesco, shops or any food stores, a 20-min walk to the university’s business school, a 17-min walk to the railway station or else you can always find a bus stand 3-min nearby. Jane, Brandon, Craig (the maintenance man), and Jackie (she is a fantastic cleaner) - I will miss y’all for your responsiveness, your instant support and the small conversations that made up my day. The room is extremely bright and comfortable. Also, my flatmates are so cute. I think I had a memorable year at Lboro Uni thanks to Asha House.
The worst accommodation.Students, who need a quite environment to study and sleep at night, stay away from Asha House. Poor sound isolation. The walls between rooms are not made from concrete or bricks, they are plaster. You will hear everything: starting from one flatmate going to toilet and ending with another flatmate having sex in their room. The worst issue is that Administration, namely landlord B., supports those tenants who are noisy at night. It is stated in the agreement that the room is for single occupancy and occasional guests are allowed for short stay, but my female flatmate shared the room with her boyfriend for several months and had other regular guests living in the flat. The flat was noisy day&night. I complained to landlord B. 4 times about strangers living in the flat and constant noisiness, but he politely ignored me and didn't interfere. He ignores night disturbance issues and biased to international students. Not safe place to live, it's dangerous.Just stay away!
it is one of the worst student accommodation to stay. Management team has no respect for its tenants. The appliances in the kitchen are old and stinking, broken fridge/freezer. The outside area is full of cobweb. The cleaners only come once a month, no sanitisation of common places at all.
I’ve stayed in 3 private halls over the course of my degree, Asha House is best accommodation I’ve stayed in. Management really makes a difference, their team are super friendly, approachable and willing to help/fix things as super fast. Large desk spaces, great storage space and double beds! As a student you don’t want to be worrying about anything & this accommodation has been the most stress free place.
The room is quite spacious, maintenance issue solved within a day, kitchen is also spacious but they do not reconsider contract if you're unable to shift due to COVID. The team should be friendlier
I am living in a studio. If you need more space, you will like studios or one-bed rooms very much. The microwave was old when I moved in, and they gave me a new one and they also replaced the fridge for me. The managers are really nice friendly and are more than willing to help. The on-site maintenance person is very reliable and very friendly. They are also helping the students and the help is definitely not their job, but they are doing it!!! The location is fantastic. In ten-minute walking distance, there is Sansbury's, Tesco and M&S and a bus stop to campus or train station. I would strongly recommend it. Asha House has the best management quality in Loughborough when comparing it to other student halls I lived in. You will find good management is just too important to be ignored and they have the best in Loughborough.
Melarita's description is a big lie. I have been living here for more than three years. Such a lie is disgusting. The rooms are spacious, even the smallest one is not small!! It something breaks down, it is fixed or replaced in the very next working day. If something like a boiler or oven breaks down, they order a new one on the same day they received the report. The shower is always cleaned thoroughly before the next tenant moves in. If it is mouldy, may I ask for how long you have not cleaned the shower in your room? Each tenant has two cupboards in the kitchen to store their stuff. The cupboard is 70cm X 27cm x 46cm to be precise. They have on side subwardens providing help 24/7. If you need to shave your leg, you need a bathtub and no student accommodation in Loughborough provides a bathtub. You get the chance to take a look at the room in person and you did not know that?
I was very happy with my experience, communication was great and everything just worked with no hassle.
Do not believe a word of the one star review Allegedly the person who wrote it left the building owing a lot of money and is trying to bully her way out of paying it but life always catches up with these sorts of people Asha House is a really affordable friendly and well run building to live in
I lived here for a year, and I chose this place after comparing many student apartments in the neighborhood during the language class. The location is very good for school and train station, downstairs is the town centre, close to supermarkets, bazaars, cinemas and fast food restaurants. Good value for money, the same room price is cheaper than other places. The kitchen is cleaned once a month, and repairs are timely if any are needed. The office can help pick up the delivery. Aside from the fact that UK houses are generally not very soundproof, asha is the best flat in Loughborough in my opinion at the same price
I've been here 2 years now, not had any big problem. After having a terrible experience in a rent house in my first year here. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff are amazing, rooms are very good and in a great location.
Ive been here 3 years now, not had a single issue. After having a terrible experience on campus in my first year i was reluctant to think asha house was going to be any different. However, i couldn't have been more wrong. The staff are amazing, rooms are very reasonably priced and in a great location.

Skip the campus accommodation in first year for a peaceful place to stay with great staff.
On my first day, Asha House was beyond expectations having reserved it before I came to Loughborough. My room was spotless and everything was in its perfect place. The kitchen is adequately equipped for all you cooking ambitions. I could feel they were fully prepared to receive me, just like any other student. The management team has been friendly and amazing. Any maintenance issue needed is addressed on the same day or the following morning if you report after working hours. Cleaning is regularly done for common areas and the cleaner is very friendly. The management staff are the most approachable I’ve ever seen. I’ve misplaced my keys twice and anytime I contact them they are always offering assistance. There are also dedicated students ambassadors who offer assistance past office hours. Asha House has world class gym facility. Its strategic location enables one to easily access the town centre, railways station, bus stops and recreational parks.
The staff in the office is very friendly, you can find them to solve any problems. There are administrators on duty at any time, you can contact them at any time. The location of the apartment is in the center of the town. Although it is a little far from the school, the shopping mall, market and bus station are downstairs. Although there is no social place in the apartment, the gym and park are downstairs, and you can go to the park with friends. The infrastructure is relatively complete, and someone will regularly clean the kitchen and corridors. The facilities in the room need to be cleaned by myself, but I think this is what everyone should do.
I have been living in Asha House for 3 years and I am still living here. If someone says the management team are horrible and are bullies, the person is the one who bullies and is lying. Including Asha House, I have lived in 4 student accommodations in Loughborough in the past 6 years, and Asha House is definitely hands down the best one. If something breaks down, always the VERY NEXT DAY it is fixed. The management team receives our parcels. They are also being very helpful even when some requests are not their job. The kettle and microwave ARE provided in every flat. They always clean the room thoroughly before someone moves in. Even in the least likely scenario when someone finds it not to his or her standard before moving in, the person can always ask the management team to have the room cleaned. And they always clean the room again upon the request. None of those charges is true. You can always view rooms before signing a contract. So why these lies in this tough time?
The best student accommodation in Loughborough, the cleaner regular clean the kitchen, maintenance always in time, all office staff are trying their best to support the student, safety, also, the office will collect parcels for the student, excellent location in Loughborough, easy to get anywhere you want, cost -effective for students, definitely not regret living there, the guys are super stars!

THE WORST ACCOMMODATION IN LOUGHBOROUGH!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is the worst accom in the whole vicinity, unfortunately I had to stay here but they accommodation was disgusting moving in, black hair filled in my bathroom from the previous owner. Before even getting to my room, the balcony was disgusting and had wet tissue that looks like it was stuck there for years on the side of the wall and floor. My bathroom shower didn't even have a drain catcher and the walls were full dirt and mould I had to bleach, you have to also purchase a kettle, and toaster etc so the kitchen doesn't come fully stocked. The room had a disgusting pungent old smell that no matter how much I cleaned wouldn't go. The hobs in the kitchen also barely worked and would take forever to even heat up or cook a simple meal. The walls are so thin that I can hear my flatmate take a piss in the bathroom. The lift also often smelt like urine too. The administration team are horrible and are bullies.
