I was pleased with my stay in HC for the year. Especially the gentleman at the reception desk is very warm and welcoming. I really enjoy saying hello and chatting with him on a regular basis. Every person in charge is very responsible. I have to say this is a very fortunate experience.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

the environment is pretty good and the staffs are all kind-heart here. i love our accommodation very much!
I stayed there for a year. It’s not cheap but great location, quite warm on winter, pretty new building.
This is definitely a dormitory worth living in.
Bad value for money, but overall acceptable. Staff are often polite and willing to help.
All the guys in the receptionist are so nice and kindheart, like babysitter haha. They are eager to help as long as you are in trouble. Be kind to them haha cause they deserve it
Perfect! Love it very much! The staff was so fantastic, very supportive and friendly!
The living experience is really good in general.
I had a great time this year. The dormitory staff downstairs often organized some interesting activities and helped us when we needed help. I was very happy to live here for a year
I was pleased with my stay in HC for the year. Especially the gentleman at the reception desk is very warm and welcoming. I really enjoy saying hello and chatting with him on a regular basis. Every person in charge is very responsible. I have to say this is a very fortunate experience.
I must say, the highlight of my visit was the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Decent location, price does not match with what i got
I really enjoy the position here because it is near the city center.
Well done with service, but expensive
Overall, the experience of living here is very good, mainly with independent washing machines, but the space of the public activity room is too small, I hope to hold more interesting activities in the future
The green wall part of the apartment room is ugly. The apartment is large and in a good location.
very nice, the apartment staffs are very helpful
The common room is quite small, which cannot accommodate too much people. And the noice is quite loud within an ensuite.
pretty quiet room with big bathroom and oven
Nice and warm service! All problems I report can be solved in time and well.
I've been happy living at Harbour Court for most of my stay, the front desk help with luggage and deliveries has been very attentive, and a previous problem with a sewer pipe in our flat was quickly resolved. The receptionist was very helpful. Our hot water and heating worked well most of the time, there was only one fault but that was sorted quickly. All in all it was a pleasure to live here.
Honestly, despite being a well-located place close to the university, it has many problems. The lift is out of service several times. It has even been out for 2 weeks. Now we are facing a lack of hot water and the heater not working in the flats, in the middle of winter. It's absurd that we pay the highest accommodation fees at the university to be treated with disrespect. On a positive note, one of the standout aspects is the exceptionally friendly and genuinely great staff members.
It's so great! Staffs are friendly and the facilities are nice
good reception! good location and we dont need to pay for fix something. we can have some drink and have some party in vacation
I really like reception, they are nice and helpful, the studio is big, l really love it!
The reception staff is very kind, efficient and helpful. Facilities are convenient for life.
I think the dormitory has a private washing machine which is very convenient and clean, 24-hour security, and can be safely checked in. There are also people who often come to clean and keep our common areas very clean
good everything good for me to live here everything is good for me!!
The staff have a gentle attitude and have a quiet rest at night. It is very close to the harbor and is suitable for student life
The feeling of living here is particularly good, everyone is very friendly, and then the infrastructure is particularly good and quiet.especially the receptionist like Mattia, and Mo, they are very friendly!
The management of the apartment is excellent and can maintain order very well. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic, and if repairs are requested, they are done promptly.
The staffs are really nice and the atmosphere they made makes me feel warm. Very good~
It’s a good experience living here, the staffs are kind and solve problem quickly. I also like my room, it’s wide and having a good view.
I have a good experience here.
The reception staff is very friendly and the reception can help with the care of packages, the atmosphere of the dormitory is great, the use of the washer and dryer is very happy, there are some free food and other activities, and every holiday, the staff will be dressed up for the holiday
Everything is great. Especially, location and washing machine.
Reception staffs are so nice!!
Great living experience but haven't got a lot of place to hangout with others
The apartment management system is perfect. All the stuff are kind and professional. Problems can be solved in time. But the water is often cut off which makes my life inconvenient.
Everything is good here. And all the members are kind and enthusiastic.
I stayed at Harbour Court for a year, and I found the rooms to be quite pleasant, and the reception staff were friendly. However, when I moved to Liverpool, one of my parcels was mistakenly sent back there without any prior notice. The reception team promptly informed me via email and assisted in coordinating with Royal Mail to retrieve and resend it to my new address. I am truly thankful for their help.
Almost everything in Harbour Court is great. Most of the reception staffs are friendly and reliable. I hope everthing to me will continue to go well this year in Harbour Court.😀
The environment is very good, and the reception is very kindness, I like it very much!
the staff always attach great importance to every problem we met here no matter it’s big or small.
The receptionist was very helpful and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.
The receiption is helpful responsible and friendly. And the apartment is pretty nice and the location is amazing. I like Harbour Court.
Good location very convenient to everywhere but network is bad
It's great. There's a washer and dryer. The staff was very friendly and helped solve many problems. I highly recommend staying here.
good location near a gym friendly and supportive staff great security
The best accommodation I have been to in Bristol. great location and nice facilities. Most importantly, all the receptionists in here are the best, they will always reply in time and offer the best service to us. Definitely will be the place I miss when I return home.
The experience was good in general but it is better to put residence who can relate and enjoy being flatmates together. The common spaces are small, it would be better if they're better and have more games.
the receptionist, Matt, is a really helpful, kind and sweet person. thanks so much for giving me help.
This is the best student accommodation in Bristol, with cheap price, comfortable environment. And also the receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I love this accommodation, also because a good geographical location and with dryer and washer. This valuable one-year experience is lifelong.
I had a generally positive experience during my stay at this property. The value for money was reasonable, and considering the amenities provided and its proximity to the university, the location was quite good. The property management team was outstanding in terms of customer service, always promptly addressing any issues that arose. Although there were a few areas that could be improved, such as social spaces, the property management team's excellent service and the reliable internet connection made it a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
Generous space, very practical. Very helpful and friendly staff.
It's a good place to live in. The heating is plentiful, so I will not feel cold in the winter. Also, the receptionists are really friendly and helpful. They can solve problems quickly. The best advantage is that we have washing machines in our own room. We can use it without charge. It improves my life quality.
Good location with great service. The price is a bit too much than the ideal price
Wi-Fi is not good, light is too dark, snacks should be more delicious, washing machine sometimes can’t dry clothing
Reception is friendly and if there are issues with the room, it will be sorted quickly. The maintenance guy (Lazlo - I'm most likely spelling his name wrong) is really helpful. Given the amount we're paying (£9532/year), it would be helpful to have cleaning services provided for the common areas such as flat kitchens and corridors. Other accommodations such as Print Hall don't cost as much as Harbour Court but their kitchens are cleaned by a cleaning team. If the expectation is for the flat to clean the kitchen/hallway, then at the very least, please provide the cleaning detergent and rubbish bags. The one kitchen meeting we had wasn't helpful as it felt like it was held for the sake of having it. There were no follow ups after that kitchen meeting and issues raised within the flat, weren't resolved.
excellent environment, excellent reception, very enthusiastic about questions and quick feedback.
Great place for University of Bristol students. I spent a good time with my friends at the outside ping-pong table. However, the elevator broke for several months which was inconvenient.
Harbor Court is nice place to stay.
The receptionist was very warm-hearted. My package could not be found. After confirming the situation, he helped me contact the seller and let me get a refund!
Harbour Court has the best location -only a few minutes walking distance from campus and the city centre, and only a few steps away from all the attractions at the Harbourside. Flats are well equipped and comfortable. The building is clean and quiet, which is important for studying. The managers are super nice. Overall, great price-quality ratio.
The accommodation is value for money. It is situated close to the city center and Harbour which makes travel and weekends more convenient. They have a very supportive staff too. The Customer Service Advisor Owen Reed is helpful and responsive.
The Harbour court Abodus student accommodation is an excellent option for those who want to stay in the centre of Bristol. The room was clean and simple. All the staff were very friendly and helpful offering travel help and recommendations. Lots of plugs in the room for devices and electronics. However, sometimes we face a low wifi signal in the room.
Harbour Court is a great place to stay in. I would recommend it to anyone planning to come to study in Bristol. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are perfect for students needs. Plus, the location near UoB makes it even better.
Fantastic place to live! It is close to everything and has a kind and helpful staff.
outstanding customer service, with issues always resolved promptly
Harbour Court I liked the reception. He is so friendly and open to help with questions and issues I have. The place is safe and nice. All facilities are provided. Thank you.
Value for money is really good, and we have free washing machine and dyers. I think the biggest shortcoming is that it is far from campus and city center, it takes us 20 minutes to most places.
all very good! Owen is friendly and nice😉
Harbour court is great. I lile it!
Excellent location and wonderful staff
I hope my light could be fixed quickly
It's a lovely experience to lin in Harbour Court Accommodation. I feel safe and comfortable. We got a kind and lovely reception staff. However, it would be better if we got a bigger common room and have study rooms.
The accommodation is ok. It is rather convenient to buy things around and transportation. There are some problems with devices and they lack repair
Hc is quite far away from the teaching building, it may need me take 20-30 mins from my accommodation to school. But i like the free washing machine, and it near the harbour side, so it easy for us to enjoy the beautiful river scene. I hope there will hold more activities in the future.
Very good location near university and habour. Very nice staffs and good in price. However, a bit late in repairment and not tidy as expected on the first day moving in.
I live in Harbour court, the social area is a bit too small. The fire alarm usually alert and I have to wait out side about 30mins for security check and it happened 3 times within 2 weeks. I also want more social event for meeting people in my accommodation.
Thanks to Owen Reed for his service at the reception. He is very friendly and helpful!
I am quite satisfied with the location and washer&dryer. But I think the clean work of the shared kitchen and garbage shed need some improvements. As for social space, I hope the yard could have a better condition.
Harbour Court is a very nice place to live. It was worth every penny you spent. We have our washing machine in our own flat, and there is a tesco express opposite the building. Very convenient! And the staff here are very friendly.
Harbour Court is a perfect student apartment with new room facilities and good surrounding environment near the city and convenient life. The staff here are also patient and friendly. It has been proved that the service of the apartment staff has always been of high standard. They will always pay attention to your problems at the first time, reply quickly and solve them. When I was scalded by the oven, I sent an email to reception asking for the address of the hospital, and soon got a detailed reply. What really moved me was that Owen, the reception staff, came to check the situation of the burn wound and gave some very useful suggestions. There are many things like this, including the ability of the staff to help copy documents, timely repair of small damage in the room, and so on. All of these make people feel at ease. When you have problems, you can always turn to the apartment staff.
I am satisfied with the loaction and value.
The workers are very friendly! However, the website says there will be someone to clean the kitchen every two weeks, I don't know why the studio doesn't have this service. There are some mice seems hard to solve them. There is almost no mobile phone signal in the dormitories.
It is better than what I heard before.Although it cost 20 minutes to go some big market in the centre of the city, there are many small shops and convenient to buy essential products
I like the accommodation because of the facilities inside and outside. Also is near to Bristol University and is easy for me to go to my seminars. The staff are super friendly too! five stars!
I can’t make call in my room, no service And room wasn’t properly cleaned after the previous tenant, there was hair everywhere. A few times I had clumps stuck on me from sitting or just moving about, that was very very unpleasant
great location great neighbour great facility
Staff in Harbour Court are so nice!!
Living at the city centre makes going to many restaurants, pubs and clubs a short walk, which I enjoy a lot. Also, the UoB campus is near with all the studying spaces close by.
The location of HC is wonderful, the surroundings are beautiful. The management team is very kind, warm, and accommodating, solving problems very quickly. However, the quality of wifi is quite bad, because my room is in the corner of the suite, far away from the router. I recommend you to improve the quality of the wifi.
everything is great except the scenery out side my window, sometimes it's depressing since all I can see is an empty alley.
nice place to live and nice people as well
very nice quiet place to live. perfect if u dont like noise. wifi working good so far, the only drawback is the mobile signal dont seem to be caught well among the walls of the accommodation. rooms are large and cozy, windows could have been better if we could open them more, dunno how it is in summer yet. 201£ per week (studio) seems expensive, but bills are included so you dont have to worry about that. there is also everything that you need in a room, including washing machine/dryer.
In overall, I find everything right! The only thing is that there are no many communal rooms or spaces where spend time with other people
thanks for your management and help!Have a good day!
I think Harbour court is one of the places that many students looking for each year!
Everything is good. It would be nice if we had two fridges, because one fridge is too small for five people.
Owen is so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome experience!! This accomodation is at a very good location. There's really nothing I can complain about it. Rooms are spacious enough and friendly staffs too..
I am satisfied with all the facilities except all the windows. Most of the windows in the coridor won't open and half (3 out of 6) won't open in my flat. It seems that the windows, as well as their handles are easily stuck.
I hope the yard could get more maintenance and the garbage shed could be clean and tidy. Especially, the trees in the yard are in bad condition, and I think green plants are quite important to our residents.Thank you!
Harbour Court is really a pleasant place to live, with charming scenery along the river and nice shops around. I would definitely recommend it to new students in Bristol.
There is no signal in my room so I cannot make or receive calls 😅
Our room is giant, big enough for two people to live comfortably. The staff is amazingly friendly, always happy to chat and help in anyway possible. The location is central enough to be able to easily walk to the city and isolated enough to avoid the city noise. Couldn’t recommend more.
The social space is very much limited for students to gather together or carry any activity within the accommodation.
have to say the Owen is really lovley and helpful for all maintenance, parcel and general chatting. Harbour court is a quite nice accommadation for students excep the internet - sometimes may slow.
I really like living here because of the faculties they provide to highlight some the washing machine and anytime they are ready to help if there is a problem
It would be better if there was a printing machine and a gym.
Have mostly enjoyed staying here and staff are very friendly but it’s way too expensive and I don’t know what I’m getting for my money. There is no social space and very little going on, doesn’t feel like fun student accommodation.
Friendly staff at reception who were really helpful collecting my parcels for me. Location is great, so central, and less than 5 minutes to Park Street. They held events every now and then and have a nice big courtyard with a ping pong table and seating. Price is expensive as it's Bristol, but I guess pretty good value compared to other student halls.
Rooms are very modern and spacious - all come with an en suite, however not very good in terms of social experience. Very quiet, not a lot going on and other residents complain at the slightest bit of noise - ideal if you're a boring old fart.
