Keele is a great university that has a lot of good studying facilities and great teaching from staff. Alongside the facilities such as teaching, the wifi is strong all around campus and therefore it makes studying very easy.

Keele has one of the nicest, most beautiful campuses I have ever seen, which makes living here such a great experience - especially if you come from somewhere not so picturesque! There are loads and loads of different clubs you can join who all hold social events that you can go to if you wish which helps get to know your teammates or follow club members better, but I do find some of them pretty expensive (to join 2 sports clubs and have insurance I paid £85) but things cost! The Students Union is so much fun during Freshers Week but then after that it seems to die down and the parties stop being so good. They still hold lots of events during the day such as Careers Fair which is fun to go along to and get freebies. Wi-Fi is available all over campus but is a little scarce walking between classes though I guess that just reminds you to look up from your phone and see what's actually going on around you! Overall it's an amazing place where I feel very safe and comfortable.

Wifi is very dodgy, especially in my halls. If you move your device the internet gets very bad and in some spots wifi is almost none-existent. Other than this, keele on the whole is fantastic! Though I wish they would do paint and foam parties like most other universities and clubs do!

I had wifi basically everywhere on campus which was super useful. I would say the only downside is there isn't an on site swimming pool but even then the nearest one is just 5 minutes away in town,

Keele was not my first choice, in fact I didn't even come to an open day, I just selected it as the insurance choice because it looked OK upon brief research online. I was a self assured a levels kid, positive I would get into my firm choice. God forbid I actually ended up there come results day... AND that's exactly what happened. Except, it was probably the best thing to happen to me. I love Keele, I'm pretty sure everyone at Keele loves Keele. The community spirit, the £1 drinks, the fantastic staff, the beautiful campus! I've met some great people and made some great friends, been taught by people actively doing important, relevant research in their fields, and guest lecturers from other universities (Oxford springs to mind). Of course we could moan on and on about things that could be improved, one reason I gave four stars is that the sporting facilities could be significantly better, but university is what you make of it. Embrace the spirit, we aren't here for very long!!

The university is great and everyone has a nice feel for it. The only problem is the fact that there is no swimming pool to be honest.

The university nightlife is pretty non-existing and there aren't really any attractions nearby... The accommodation (shared flat in Barnes L) was pretty shabby as there wasn't much fridge or cupboard space, no bath and the bedrooms were tiny with very uncomfortable beds...

It's such a welcoming community, and there are so many societies and sports to choose from, and to be honest you'll always find something to do with someone. And to be honest, if you think of something else that you wanted there is always new societies popping up, so making your own would be no issue in the slightest. In addition to that the professors are welcoming and helpful, and everything is so close together, so that's always nice. And the SU is a massive advantage it being on campus and having events going on all the time, it's really quite a lovely place to be. I wouldn't have chosen any other university given the opportunity.

Brilliant SU, great campus atmosphere where everyone knows everyone and everything is really close together. Great woodland walks and scenery in summer, good sports facilities. However a swimming pool would be nice and perhaps faster wifi.

The university is really supportive in so many different aspects: whether it is from settling into on-campus housing, changing courses, or even trying to find accommodation off-campus!

Wonderful

Lovely, friendly university in a great setting with plenty to do and an active students union

Cons?
If you're big into clubbing and are used to big city clubs then the SU might not cut it for you. If you don't mind the idea of a campus uni, however, it's great.

Best time and best support

The campus is beautiful and the staff are always on hand to help you regarding any issues. The availability of courses is second to none. And the student support services were always there for me when things got tough.

Cons?
It's great that everything is together in one place but sometimes this can prevent you from venturing out. The surrounding area doesn't have much going for it.
