I’m having a really amazing time and experience, everything is organised perfectly!
The university has a very welcoming atmosphere and really makes you feel right at home. This was really special to me as I live a 10 hour drive away. The main campus is charming but relatively small. This means facilities can feel limited but the campus is walkable when you have classes on opposite ends of the uni. The are quite a few options for food and supplies like the union building, the key-store and the bakery.

As an international student, moving to a new country was both exciting and daunting. However, my experience at Aberdeen University has been nothing short of transformative. One memory that stands out is how my professor, Clare, went above and beyond to support me during my dissertation on social psychology. I was struggling to find direction, and she not only provided detailed feedback but also stayed after hours to guide me through complex theories. Her encouragement gave me the confidence to excel. The university’s diverse and welcoming community also played a huge role in making me feel at home. From orientation events to the international student café, there were countless opportunities to connect with people from all over the world. Additionally, the resources available, like the state-of-the-art library and the career services, have been invaluable in my academic and personal growth. I’ll always remember the kindness and support I received here, which have truly made my time at
Great university. Lots of societies with regular activities for most interests. Study spaces can be sparse in exam seasons.
