Moonraker Point was my first home when I shifted to the UK and now in my last year I was back here for the summer and I am happy to say that my experience was great. Major credit goes to the entire team working there especially Zuber who is the Student experience team leader. He has always been extremely patient and helpful throughout my stay there. From helping me to settle down in my studio to personally tending to all my queries and issues. For instance when I was unable to use my oven he instantly took out time and helped me figure it out. Further all accommodations have there own pros and cons and so did Moonraker for instance our floor hover would be missing/ broken but Zuber always helped me out by providing with a good intact hover every single time. Even during checkout, being an international student I had a lot of storage boxes and Zuber happily helped me with those too. Safe to say my experience was even better because of such helpful team members like Zuber.

Where to start? I Woke up on the first night with a mouse in my bed and had to wait three weeks for pest control. When the rodent problem had finally been dealt with, the property's other issues became apparent. First, it is situated right next to a schoolyard with a caged football pitch. So residents can look forward to being woken up early every morning by shouting and screaming children. Better still, the school let out said football pitch to local teams who practice every night between 18:00 and 21:30. The noise is unbearable if you're on the first two floors; you can't get any work done, you can't relax, you' can't have your windows open, your can't peel back your curtains because of the floodlights. It is really miserable. On top of that, the social experience at Moonraker is garbage. It's creepily quiet, enclosed with little communal space - the little that is available is covered in litter. I swear everyday I saw someone I'd never set eyes on before. Criminal waste of money!!
Zuber is extremely friendly and helpful with any problem that you have. We were having an incessant rodent problem in our kitchen, and Zuber was really the only one who managed to get it solved. I had reported the issue multiple times to different staff, and it was only when I reported it to Zuber that it got immediately solved. I went down to the reception and told Zuber the problem, he took down the details, and told me he would send pest control up to our studio that same day. He even went out of his way to give me a call and leave a voicemail (because I did not pick up), to give me an update on what time pest control would come to our studio. They came, checked the kitchen, told us the problem, and installed more rodent traps. No rodent has been seen again since that day, so a huge thank you to Zuber who was extremely friendly and understanding about the issue, and got things done super quickly...really needed it because I was losing my mind!!!
good but could be better，especially about the electricity, I experienced at least 5-6 power cut and 7-8 internet cut during this 2 years I stayed. But the reception are GREAT love them
Horrible accommodation. We had mice in the flat, the walls were dirty, I've asked maintenance multiple times to fix my toilet seat and they never come. For the price it is absolutely not worth it.

Absolutely abysmal at Moonraker Point. Have been living here for 4 months and have seen mice in my kitchen and in my room. Health and safety standards extremely poor. Have reported these issues many times throughout the past 2 months and nothing has been done other than a few traps being put down. For the price we pay for the accommodation, it is simply appalling.

PROS: Moonraker Point is incredibly expensive but worth it in terms of itself. Everything is in good condition. The lighting in the rooms, mostly Philips-branded, is awesome, although inadequate in the shared dining areas. Communal kitchens are cleaned on a fortnightly basis. The staff members are friendly to me. The WiFi functions well despite very minor interruptions. CONS: The walls, though insulating heat very well, can amplify the noise. The ventilation system is also problematic - the air inlet is too close to the outlet so a minor portion of the kitchen exhaust would be sucked by the inlet and enter the kitchen and the bedrooms through pipes. (Probably not really) CONS: Note that anywhere left messy won't be cleaned - I understand this is on one hand to encourage us to keep the hygiene on our own; but the naughtier flatmates just did not care so this rule didn't prove effective. And I don't know for what magic reason, in most cases, few were using the social spaces.

Moonraker Point is by far the best residence for KCL. You can walk just about anywhere, uni (all three campuses), good clubs, bars, and have easy access to Waterloo station to get anywhere. It is a 5 minute walk to Borough Station (to get the Northern Line) and a 5 minute walk to Southwark Station (to get the Jubilee Line - East and West). Borough Market is close by, and is a great place to hang out on the weekend. The rooms are fantastic, with good double beds, nice facilities and some rooms have a great view of the area. The social life is fantastic, flat party's and pre's are very common in each block. There is a gym downstairs which also makes exercise very easy. It is a great part of London, very chill area but also very close to the action. Despite the lofty price tag, it is definitely worth it in my opinion! I was an exchange student and had a really great time, met some wonderful people, and had great fun. 10/10 would recommend.

The hall management is shockingly bad. We have not had water for the past 4 weeks. It has taken them an absurd amount of time to call maintenance. Not worth your time.

Unhelpful and unpleasant staff, gym underneath the building plays loud music very early in the morning, cleaners don't do their jobs, and laundry service is always broken. Avoid living here!

Massively overpriced Cleaning staff are friendly but show up unannounced (if you stay over summer) barge into your private room without knocking Common room is rubbish no one uses it it's a waste of space Laundry room is small always busy, usually broken machines as well and also overpriced Social experience is what you make of it, as most of the halls are split into separate flat there's not much chance to meet other students Over summer it turns into a youth hostel full of kids and random people, not great environment if our still doing exams or clinical placements Internet is terrible!! The connection always goes down and some days you just can't get wifi Overall it looks nice, but oh pay a lot for not very much, some of the staff are helpful but most complaints they just apologise and don't act on it, Only redeeming feature is the location which is awesome for central London unis Wish I could get my money back, my advice skip halls and rent privately
